    While this model is quite good for the price compared to the other newer models, one has to balance the features and technological improvements that the newer models have that this one simply does not. If you are looking for a solid, low frills iPad that is budget friendly then this one will be plenty. If, however, you are someone who appreciates (dare I say demands) the latest bells, whistles and upgrades and who may be disappointed when you realize which are missing (e.g., better sound/speakers, improved camera, face recognition, sharper picture quality,etc.) then I would recommend you spend the extra money. Bottom line this iPad is adequate but not awesome.

    A great tablet that is cost effective. I got the 256G because I store a lot of pictures and docs. Wish I would have just got 64G and used cloud storage!
