I bought this for my husband's birthday and he loves it. It is fast, sturdy, and is everything a good ipad should be. I have had several, and he has too, but his last ipad lasted for more than 7 years. This looks equal to that. The home button is wonderful for those who don't like all the modern add ons. He loves the home button on his phone.

Th ease of use of ipad is great. Apple always makes great products and this one is great. Long lasting battery and our child loves it!

Great screen size ... graphics are great. Tablet is easy to use! So far the battery life is excellent (only had it a month) and it's a very sturdy tablet with the protection jacket I bought with it.

We purchased this for my daughter. It is a great size and keeps up with what all of her apps, video and gaming. The camera is decent too. I would definitely recommend, especially for the price.

Upfront disclosure: I'm a PC guy. I make my living fixing PC problems. My wife is technophobic. She would avoid computers all together except for her iPad and iPhone. We were forced to replace her iPhone when it would no longer do what she needed to do. Unfortunately, her iPad had reached that same plateau. Best Buy put the 9th gen iPad on sale. Without my wife's knowledge I ordered one. My plan was to do the switch while she was not around. I've bad-mouthed Apple for years, but there's one thing they do infinitely better than any Microsoft product -- upgrading to an up-to-date replacement. I powered up the new iPad and the first thing that came up was the instruction to set up the iPad being replaced next to the new iPad. I did as instructed, and immediately both iPads acknowledged each other. I was instructed to scan the moving circle on the new iPad with the camera on the old iPad. I answered "yes" to the question if I wanted to set up the new iPad with the info on the old iPad. Thirty minutes later I had a perfectly cloned iPad 9th generation. Except that the new iPad had a black frame instead of a white frame, my wife noticed no difference in the operation. Everything just happened a lot faster. Whoever designed this feature for Apple has earned the admiration from this diehard PC guy. Microsoft -- of all the things you copy from Apple, this is one you need to steal.

Having never owning an Apple product (gasp), I was looking forward to my first one. This relatively inexpensive Ipad device was well worth the price. Many available apps, including Amazon, Directv, Spectrum and Google apps makes it easy to like. Transferred everything from my Android phone, including streaming apps, photos, contacts, etc. Fast response on every application. Best Buy shipped quickly and was well packaged.

I bought this iPad after retiring my ancient iPad Air 1st gen. I love that this one has the same form factor but a faster processor and more space. If you want the best bang for your buck, definitely get this one. I’m using it mainly for textbooks and it’s working great so far. I intend to keep it for many years!

Bought this ipad as a replacement to my former ipad because although it wasn’t old, it kept shutting down, had been kept up to date, it kept displaying that it needed to be restored. So far so good with this ipad. Battery life is good, nearly fits into my bag, not heavy and use daily.

I love iPads, got this one for my younger daughter since she was using my old iPad Air 2. Yes, it was still working after almost 10 years. My daughter loves her new one, it is way faster compared to the old one and setting her up with a child account was easy too! And can’t beat the value for money even when it is not on sale!

Fast easy to use alot better than my 9th generation

I bought this for my 8 year old grandson as and upgrade from a kindle fire 8 tablet and so far we love it the color is better the size is bigger it ms easy for him to use battery last a long time too

This a great tablet. I was lucky enough to get it at a great price when it was on sale for 249. I paired it with the logitech keyboard and have myself little, portable laptop. Great job Apple and Best Buy.

Really like the speed and battery life compared to tablets of similar price. Is also compatible with a pen, unlike some tablets at its price range. Only con in my opinion is the camera, but I've been spoiled by Samsung's higher-end phone cameras so the competition is unfair. I wanted the tablet for reading articles and books, drawing/note-taking, and streaming. For those purposes, I felt this was a great purchase.
