The “free” gift that came with the purchase was supposed to be for a six month subscription to a virus and internet protection plan that when I activated was only for FOUR days.

I like the screen and functionality, but question whether Apple bakes in enough value anymore (compared to the competition) to justify the premium it charges. There are a lot of interesting alternatives, but I was too lazy to explore them.
