I owned the original IPad, the IPad 2, the IPad Air 1, and the IPad Air 2 so far. I enjoyed every one of them. However, this iPad Pro 10.5 is the best without any doubt. The Apple Pencil works so well with this that it is really like using a pen to a paper. It took me some time to convince myself to invest 100 dollars for a stylus but once you use it, it is really worth the money. All I have to be careful is not to lose it or not to damage it. I use my iPad Pro for my note taking using Notability. I can also open up Safari at the same time using the dual screen function with Notabilty For the work that I do, I use a laptop but I use the iPad Pro 10.5 as a notebook. Not planning on having the iPad Pro as a replacement to the laptop. I am happy that I bought the iPad Pro and the Apple Pencil.

The bigger screen for simply beautiful. It's incredibly fast.it's expensive but worth every penny I highly recommend this .

I was originally using an iPad mini for grad school, but after a while I realized how hard it was to write and the screen was too small. So I spontaneously decided to get an iPad pro. It was probably one of the best decisions ever! I love my iPad and it is great that I can see so much of my powerpoints during lecture and the mutlidocking screen makes life so much easier! It works so well and there is so much storage that I am not worried about it running out of memory. Overall, a very happy purchase!

Great ipad! Easy to update and large screen easy to locate apps.

I know I am suggesting purchasing a nearly 2 year old iPad (at the time of this review) but believe it or not it beats out the new iPad Air 3 where bang for your buck is concerned. For example it features a 120Hz "ProMotion" display which adapts to the content you are viewing and helps minimize lag when using the Apple Pencil vs the Air's 60Hz display. The Pro has 4 GB of RAM vs the Air's 3 GB RAM. If you watch content on your iPad such as movies or TV you should know the Pro has 2 speakers on either sides of the iPad in landscape vs. the Air's stereo speaker pair on the lower half (in Portrait mode). Where the new Air 3 sort of beats the older Pro is with it's upgraded CPU. The new Air uses the A12 "Bionic" chip while the Pro uses an older A10X "Fusion" chip. The A10X however features a built in GPU (great for gaming) which the A12 currently doesn't feature (the A12X is featured on the much more expensive 11 inch and 12.9 inch iPad Pros w/ Face ID). in everyday real-world use you will likely be hard-pressed to tell a difference in overall performance. Both iPads currently are going for roughly the same price as stores are trying to sell off their remaining inventory of the older iPad Pros. I got the older 10.5 inch pro and do not regret my decision. If you want the most value for your hard earned money, you are better off getting the iPad Pro 10.5 vs. the iPad Air 3 as the Air 3 is merely a stripped down "Pro 10.5" with only 1 real "upgrade", and even the so-called "upgrade" isn't worth giving up the features you end up losing by getting the Air 3.

This is by far the best ipad I have ever used. The screen is perfect and it also processes very quickly. Would recommend to upgrade from previous versions

Great iPad fast, great picture with streaming sites

I actually purchased this ipad primarily to take notes on. I have a nasty habit of scribbling on notepads and my desk was getting a nice pile of them that were hard to search through. I also travel a fair amount for work and in my personal life so something that would give me good battery life for watching movies on flights and be able to get through a day of meetings and notes was essential. The 10.5" iPad pro delivers. Its expensive for only being used for notes, but the apple pencil works beautifully and the storage capacity and apps available mean I can work in the office all day and just throw it in my bag before hopping on a flight without worrying about HAVING to charge it. As others have mentioned the screen is gorgeous and iOS 11 will hopefully open up a lot of potential that isnt being taken advantage of right now. For the time being im paying for the logo and the "it just works" factor more than anything else. Its way too much power for a tablet, and I don't know anyone who uses tablets that NEEDS an iPad pro rather than a regular ipad but its nice to have the extra power when I want it and i'm hoping it lasts me long enough to justify the cost.

10.5 inch form factor gives you lots of additional screen real estate over the 9.7. App selection still destroys all of their competitors on number and quality of apps. Still the best tablet you can buy. Highly recommended.

Have loved this product since day one! Have used for music, video, and photography editing constantly as the perfect on the go unit!

The new model is not noticeably different, and not any way that make a difference. Screen size dis not make a difference, not did newer technology. The smaller size was a better grip, and better balance- meaning it was less likely to suffer accidental user damage. Get a full front and back cover. I had a cheap one and was happy with it- not so on my 11 and 12.9 ipads. They need expensive and heavy duty protection covers. Coloring and drawing saw no significant differences. Typing ability did not change by either model. The only thing that will change is how long before iOS support is revoked by its model year.

The new 10.5" iPad Pro is just small and light enough for me to use as a portable tablet yet large enough for ease of use. I purchased it from the Michigan Ave., Chicago, Best Buy. They were very helpful and recommended the Apple Smart Keyboard and the Apple Pencil, both are great and ergonomically well designed. This tablet is extremely fast and responsive. So far it fits in my older bags that I carried slightly smaller tablets in which cuts down on costs. The new display is great for movies and animations. It feels solid but is still light in weight another plus. Combined with iOS 11 it is AWESOME!

I use this (along with an official Apple keyboard) as my daily driver device. I rarely turn on my Windows PC, as this does everything I need to do.

This was my first iPad and it was so good to me that I have since bought two more.

My daughter loves it. She can do all kinds of activities like painting, games, educational games, music, etc. And it easy to use.

I was starting to tax out my iPad Air 2 with a new program I use for work so I decided to upgrade. I also noticed that I was not using my macbook air that much so I am using the iPad pro as a laptop replacement. The iPad is easily replacing my MacBook because it also couldn't run some of its software efficiently. After the software is mostly editing documents. My only caution to others is that I don't think this iPad could replace a MacBook if I didn't also have an iMac. Sometimes you just need a full-fledged computer.

Purchased new iPad Pro 10" for work and personal. Able to download my cloud apps and log in no problem. Device is a piece of art and hard to beat Mac products. Recommend pencil and keyboard for those using it for work. Apple consultant Braulio is the best! Always go in store to consult with him on the last 6 Apple products I've purchased since he knows his stuff and very good at simply explaining differences and reasons to choose one vs another.

Bought during Black Friday, great saving, last year iPad but still rocks
