Battery life is less than 2 hours on new iPad

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The only reason that I traded in my Gen 6 iPad was because the battery life was less than 3 hours while reading a book on the Kindle app. The new Generation 10.2 was supposed to have a battery life of 10 hours. Unfortunately, this new iPad battery is actually worse than the older model. $500 totally wasted.

New iPad 10 Gen

The new iPad was easy to initiate the operation. The new touch identification button took a bit to set up, but the feature that allows a second person's finger ID is great. So far it is great, but have not had much time to try the features.
