Would probably recommend this for reading a book for school over writing notes with an apple pen due to the smaller size. Still works for handwriting notes and drawing.

It was a gift for her for Christmas and she has not put it down since opening the wrapped box! Man I am riding on plenty of bonus browns points on this gift! I feel pretty smart too because being a Geek Squad service participant pays handsomely (Apple Care is part of the purchase) plus lots of other Bennie’s give me confidence in buying from Best Buy! It was a good deal all around!

Had to adjust not having a home button, but since I've been without one with the iPhone for awhile, it wasn't difficult. Everything works as it should.
