Great little device - has data package with Verizon & is quick to load websites - perfect size to throw in my purse & take along whether to my mils to share pics etc with her or out while we’re shopping or even out to eat. Excellent for travel - easier to use than my phone due to screen size but not overly large or heavy

    Frustrated running navigation

The I pad operated well for Facebook and the like, however we had purchased it to aid us in navigation using Navionics. The I pad would loose tract continually while we were making 8 knots, and a vigorous shaking would get tracking back only to loose it again every couple minutes. We noticed that offshore with significant wave action it never lost track, must be a built in motion sensor, we've updated the software and still frustrated.

Purchased this to replace my older iPad Pro, but based on my needs I felt the iPad Air was a more appropriate choice to replace it. Small, lightweight, portable computing power with BOTH wifi AND cellular (at higher cost, of course) but we enjoy taking it with us on occasional road trips. I also purchased a cover to protect it as well as the protective screen. Gotta get back to my 'Words With Friends' now! ;)

This is my third iPad, replacing an iPad Air 2. It’s faster and lighter than the Air 2. The Touch ID on this iPad works much better than my previous iPad. I’ve had very little trouble with it not reading my fingerprint while I often had to enter my passcode with the old iPad because it couldn’t read my fingerprint.

Can't find one negative thing to say about the device. It's sleak, it's light, it's efficient. The slightly larger screen is a plus. The blue tint is cool. The 256GB of space seems endless. Plus compatible to use as a cellular device which is excellent when face-timing friends and family.

I love the iPad. I recently bought the pencil but found that I didn’t really need it. I use the iPad for daily things like watching shows, or looking up info. But I also like using it for school.

I have been drooling over the iPad Pro form factor and once the Air got upgraded to the new form factor I had to get one. I am deep in the Apple ecosystem (iPad Mini, Macbook, iPhone, Apple TV, etc) so this device complements my other devices well. I have always opted for a cellular version of a tablet but I honestly think I could have lived without LTE on the Air - it’s going to come down to how you think you will use it. I ride public transit a lot and my iPad Mini is always with me- it practically lives in my pocket. The Air is quite a bit larger and while it’s a joy to use - I think it’s going to primarily live on my coffee table for couch use. The Apple Pencil is non-negotiable- get it. Touch ID works well. All in all a great upgrade from the Mini. Everything is superior. But I still think my Mini will be my daily driver and where my mobile broadband SIM will live - but it could be handy for long trips. Think about how you will use it and whether the LTE version is going to be worth it for you.

Wow - what an upgrade from the Pro 10.5! I was really on the fence between going to the Pro 11 (2020 model) and the new 4th generation iPad Air. The processor is a huge upgrade and Touch ID is like an old familiar friend. Sure, Face ID to match your new iPhone would be nice but this still works great. You won't be disappointed.

So far I have to give this IPAD 5 stars. My last IPad stop working after 2 years due to the fact that the area where you plug in the charger started having problems with charging. (Just a few months before the Geek Squad was up.) Unfortunately we thought it was the cheap chargers that was the problem, but it turned out it was the IPAD. By time we realized it was the IPAD that was the problem, the GEEK SQUAD was expired by a few weeks to a month. I would suggest that if you buy this IPAD to get the Magic Keyboard for $299, when the IPAD is mounted on the Magic Keyboard, you can plug the charger into the end of the Magic Keyboard where the cylinder is that the keyboard is hooked to the magnitized back that the IPAD attaches to with magnets. Be careful with this because it can come off easy if you accidentally push the IPAD when carrying it certain ways.. Plugging it in here to charge, charges the keyboard and the IPAD and it is quick. You can charge the IPAD itself if you don’t get the keyboard, But it is worth the $299.. Oh and by the way it will take a different charger than the one that you are using on any that were made before this one. You might want to get you an extra charging cord for this. Other than that I LOVE MY IPAD AND MY MAGIC KEYBOARD.

Easy to set up and use. Rating 4 stars because I wanted a different color that was not being offered and had to buy the dark gray. Otherwise It would have been 5 stars. Also priced a little high but guess that’s because of the model purchased. Good luck everyone. Let me know if anyone else bought the iPad Air model.

I love my iPad, it’s my very first so I am new to the world of it. However I was a little surprised that it doesn’t align in a couple of aspects. The new widget feature is not on this iPad like with my iPhone SE (2020) and it doesn’t have a stock calculator? Also while I’ve never had facial recognition yet with the iPhone as I currently have the new SE I was under the impression that the 4th generation Air would have this feature. I am overall not disappointed, this inclusive of the Pencil and Magic Keyboard make it a great compact computer alternative. With cellular I can take it anywhere and can do all my work for business, personal and school. I don’t regret this purchase.

The Apple iPad Air(Latest Model) It has a hard metal frame, the iPad Air looks and feels like an iPad Pro rather than the traditional rounded iPad. It's almost the same size as the current 10.2-inch iPad, although it's a touch slimmer and lighter. The Air fits a 10.9-inch, 2,360-by-1,640 screen into the same body size as the 10.2-inch iPad by reducing the bezels. All iPads have 264ppi screens, so as they get larger, you just get more real estate; this screen, therefore, gives you just about as much surface area as the 11-inch iPad Pro. It's laminated with an anti-reflective coating that makes it really cool. The camera design is incredible and makes this the best iPad to buy for the money in 2020.

I’m using it now for this review. I replaced an ancient iPad with a new iPad Air. Went all the way. Cellular even though I may not need it and 256gb memory. Apple products are the best and the set up via instructions and the cloud were very simple.

Great iPad. Has many of the iPad Pro features without being "pro." Touch ID in the top button works way better than expected and I think has improved as I have used it longer. The Sky Blue color is a little lighter and more subtle than I anticipated.

I bought the iPad Air for my husband who likes to use his iPad to watch tv as he travels. He is in love with the clarity and ease of use. Downloading apps to use with his home cable subscription is so great for him. Great purchase.
