Not new was opened box item
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unable to review item as it was returned. Purchased new item online but what I received was an opened box item. First time this has happened but glad I let the store clerk open the box in Best Buy. Thought it was odd that it had Best Buy security tape wrapped around it.

DO NOT BUY!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overpriced hardware. It does have the M1 cpu BUT it performs EXACTLY like an iPad 9th generation. It's pretty sad considering the 9th-gen iPad is older. DO buy the apple care because apple devices are designed to FAIL and are fragile.

Pretty and powerful!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very light and cute ipad! My first acrually. When researching which ipad to purchase i found this air 5 to pack punches closer to the pros while saving some money. I only bought this for procreate app and you can get over 40 layers. The pink is also adorable and its comfortable to carry around. Overall im very happy with my purchase and i think 64 gigs starting while not ideal can hold me over until its time to upgrade

bad policy, stay away.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't stressed enough about honesty and loyalty. Bestbuy does not let me pricematch within the refundable time frame stated on their web site and even on my order. Not much money, but this is not the way to keep a long time customer. i guess i shop else where, no need for this type of dissatisfaction.

iPad Air
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This iPad Air ran slow like a regular tablet. From my understanding it was supposed to run a bit faster.

Don’t fall for it
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s nothing new and exciting I cam from a Ipad Air 4, and if you are coming from one as well, then don’t get this there is no significant upgrade. It’s like Apple works overtime to try and get your money, don’t fall for it.

Not impressed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What a disappointment. Battery life is terrible. Forced use of two factor Id for something that never leaves a house where I live alone is stupid. I have 4 iPads and this one will probably sit on a shelf till the others die.

Sharpie
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An iPad is a hand held device. Typically, I have at least one hand on it at all times. My old iPad, which has a dying battery and some software “funny business” going on, has beautifully, comfortable rounded edges. It is a delight to use. The new iPad has sharper edges. To Apple designers: NEVER CREATE A PRODUCT WITH SHARP EDGES!! Especially, hand held ones. I bought a new Pro-book with nearly knife sharp edges on the ventilation slots. Tim Apple you need to do better for your millions!

Jim
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only fault I can find is that it gets hot on the back from time to time. Otherwise , it performs beautifully. Screen is a little larger than my last iPad even though the dimensions are the same outside. It definitely runs faster than my seven year old iPad.

An unexpected Pleasure turned up!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First BB has a great trade in program for apple products. I traded a 9th gen iPad for this iPad air 256g. I connected this to my Pluggable (brand name) Thunderbolt Hub via the usb-c connection to the iPad over a thunderbolt certified cable. EVERYTHING but 2 Monitors worked. However the 2 this did work were mirrors of each other. So effectively 1 monitor, 2 external ssd's, keyboard, mouse, lighted mouse pad, and 2 audio outs, one 3.5mm bose speakers and 1 usb c connection to my headphones. Not only to charge the headphones but also for music too! S this is capable of being my home computer and yet portable enough to take with me (without the home equipment.
