I still prefer the 12.9” model for the screen real estate, but the 11” is solid. My only complaint is how much Bluetooth eats away at battery life.

Monster of a Tablet

I went to this 11 inch from iPad 2017. This tablet is amazing. The hardware is incredible. It’s superfast, and just as I love FaceID on my iPhone XR, I love it here. The Apple keyboard (not included) is by far the best iPad keyboard I’ve ever used, and the Apple Pencil (also not included) is amazing. Coming from a 9.7 inch iPad, this 11 inch feels positively enormous. There’s enough hardware to last at least two or three years, which is good. I’m not going to be able to upgrade anytime soon! The downsides: Despite Apple’s promos, this really can’t replace your laptop if you do more than the basics on it. But if all you do is check and send email, watch videos, etc, then this will work great. I teach online, and for the most part, I’ll continue to use my MacBook Pro for that. For shorter tasks, my new Pro will be perfect. The other downside: Quite obviously, the price. This is going to last me a few years, so I invested, but if you’re on the fence, you might want to consider the regular iPad 2018, or for more power and features, the iPad Pro 10.5 (2017.)

Speaker id excellent, but the connectivity interface with external moniyor can be better. Hopefully its better with the M2 version. The battery still holds up well, easily 8+ hrs.
