Upgraded to iPadOS 16.2 and use as a laptop

The new iPadOS 16.2 (currently at betta) added Stage Manager and external monitor supports. With little more accessories, you can use it as a laptop. Apple Pencil 2nd generation works great on this one as well

We also have a 12.9” iPad Pro and both tablets have their uses. The 11” is much easier and more practical to physically handle when you are using it as intended. However, if you are looking to add a keyboard and use it for something like typing notes in a class as a laptop replacement, go for the 12.9.

Nice tablet, worth the price..

I purchased this for my business with the pen too and the handwriting recognition is great. Even though this is the smaller pro version the screen is very good. (the larger has a "better" display") The lidar on the camera works great, but you need to set your expectations. You cant scan large objects in detail and it takes a lot of tweaking to use it.

I have been able to not only consume media but I have also been able to edit photos and even videos using Lumafusion without any hiccups. While the screen is not mini-LED like the 12.9" big brother, it is still an excellent screen.
