I finally decided to mothball my Monster Mac Pro desktop computer and 30 inch Apple Cinema Monitor. My new replacement... another Mac, but 5 times cheaper. My new low end iMac operates approximately twice as fast as my 5 year old Mac Pro. The 21 inch LCD is also crisper and sharper than the 30 inch Apple Cinema display. Absolutely silent and cool, my new iMac works and acts like something out of a perfect dream I once had. I did not expect this computer to be this good. I am a happy and satisfied!

Before i bought this computer, i was lashing big money on fixing my PC that just seemed like it wanted to die. eventually it did die, so i decided to purchase this incredible machine. at first i didn't think it was so incredible, i found it hard to believe that a computer would be so smooth and fast, but after reading the comments about it, i took the risk. this was a risk worth taking, i'm never going back to that sad sack PC again. if you can afford it, why not get it? this will save money from PC repairing and replacements. Simply The Best!

I made the switch to Mac and I couldn't be happier. It was so easy to set up and connect to all our existing devices. Everything seems so intuitive that after just a short while we were very comfortable using it. Might be a little more expensive but definitely worth it. Did I mention how good the design is?

This is my 7th Mac since 1995 and this one tops them all. Quiet, cool and fast-not to mention OS Lion make this Mac the one to own. It came with 4 gigs of memory but I have already added 8 more. Adding memory is pretty easy and the sticks are a bargain. I'm looking forward to many years with this unit.

First, I must say that my opinion is somewhat biased. I bought the iMac because it was an "open-box" item and got a discount, plus my Best Buy store was running a special on these items. Anyway, the computer is gorgeous, fast, quiet, runs all programs smoothly and quickly. The screen is fantastic! Keyboard and mouse are bluetooth.

I have been a PC person for the past twenty years but i was intrigued by the apple products. i then checked out the Ipod then the Iphone and loved those. I was a little hesitant to go from pc to mac so I bought a mac mini a few years back and loved it. I was searching for a new computer and knew the Imac would be that computer. I wished I had switched sooner. This computer is fantastic. Besides being fantastic to look at the computer is so easy to use and setup. I love the Mac software and the Mac hardware. For all the PC people out there that are considering buying a new computer please do yourself a favor and check out the Imac.

This computer is simply amazing. For the price, I actually think it's a great bang for your buck. It's super fast and super easy to learn. Just do it...you can thank me later.

I love this computer, its very different from a PC. Its well put together and everything is high quality on this IMAC. There is a few thing i miss from window 7. If your are a gamer you will not like the mouse it come with. I notice installing stuff is confusing. But once you understand where it goes and how to pull it up then its piece of cake. Other than that you just got to try it out because its a hit or miss thing but i use both pc and imac for different things.

I finally gave up on Microsoft making a stable operating system. Look, 30 years of total PC loyalty and then Windows 7 made audio production impossible on my machine so I went Mac. Guess what? I'M NEVER GOING BACK. I love this box, it works, it boots up fast, and it's STABLE. A bit of a learning curve making the switch from PC, but I'm very happy with it.

If it's between a Mac Mini and an iMac. Go with the iMac. You don't have to buy anything additional, except maybe a full size keyboard. The performance is faster than a Mac Mini specifically if you need to install a lot of fonts into Font Book. I work daily on a Mac Mini and look forward to coming home and working on my iMac.

smart design. love the clean lines and clean desk without wires! the mouse took a little getting used to but works great with a little practice. oh yes it's fast.

I have never taken my time to write a review of a product I have purchased, But I have too for this. I have had pc's my whole life ( mainly HP laptops) I just use to surf the web, and college school work. I always hear good things about macs so I was at bestbuy looking for a cheap pc desktop, but just decided to spend the extra money on my iMac. It was well worth it and I will never use anything but a mac !

My wife and I are first time Mac purchasers/users and I couldn't be happier with our purchase. The product and operating system are very intuitive and simple to use. If you're accustomed to a Windows machine, you can bring in some of your old staples (Office) with ease or you can easily pick up the Mac software quickly. The ability to add software through the App store rather than having to physically go to a store is convenient and time-saving.

Is there really any need to write a review? I find it hard to believe people are actually reading reviews on the MAC. I got one word for you if you are hesitant on buying this piece of equipment. DUH!! I am in love. I didn't bother going with the larger monitor because the 21.5 is already pretty darn big and the larger one seemed over kill to me but if you got it why not! Don't fret about the money anyway, it is definitely worth every penny.

The iMac is an excellent product, I never thought I would be an Apple owner. But after becoming fed up with the PC market I thought I would give Apple a try. All is can say is "Wow!" the Apple is much more intuitive than a PC. I can't say enough good things about my iMac. Even though the price is steep, you have to remember you aren't buying a run of the mill PC - you are buying an Apple. To put it in car terms, you are buying a Cadillac. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

I've been buying PCs & laptops for 23 years (CompuAdd to Dell), I needed a new main computer that would also act as a central admin for our home wireless network that has several printers, hard drives, PCs, and laptops for our remaining 5 kids who range from pre-school to grad school. Since I was getting a bit leary of Dell and strongly suspicious of the other manufacturers, I decided to ask a 10-yr Geek Squad veteran about which brands and models he see the most and least for service. This very knowledgeable young man spent 15 minutes explaining his experiences with the various computers and how often they get serviced. He concluded with: "We may see a Mac once a year. But of course, it's an Apple." I turned and walked straight to the Apple display. After a few minutes test driving the various models, I was astounded at the speed and ease of use. After asking another knowledgeable employee a few questions, I settled on the iMac 21.5". I also bought two Apple AirPort Extreme network devices to replace our aging wireless network. Got it all home that night. Plugged it all in and everything worked the first time. The iMac has been fantastic and so easy to use. Apple's version of MS Office is great and so cheap and I can edit documents on my iPhone! All of our iPhones connect and we share a common calendar of meets, games, appointments, reminders, etc, all centralized by our new iMac. Everything is now lInked including our TV, BlueRay player, phones, PCs, laptops, printers, and drives. All is Auto updated. Again, why did I wait so long to move to a Mac?

I've been a Mac user for 20 years and have never been disappointed. The machine is fast and, as ever, intuitive.

I, like many have had many PC's, and have had ongoing issues. Since I bought this, it has been fantastic. I've had no issues whatsoever. The thing is lightning quick. I have a PC laptop and decided to do a test right off my router. Same speedtest, started at the same time, and the PC was still running about 15 seconds after my new Mac had finished. The Mac showed 36 mbs, and the PC showed 23 mbs. If you're looking at this, you WILL NOT be disappointed.

After our 5th PC in 9 years crashed we finally said enough is enough and purchased a MAC. Purchased a return open box item that. Saved $350. I love the MAC - so easy to use. We are still exploring all the features and options. Been updated a few times already and it is just so easy. App Store for MAC makes it easy to install new programs and games for the the family. Can't wait to really unleash this thing with pictures and videos and documents. Purchased Microsoft Office for MAC and it is so much easier to navigate that on the PC. Work computer is a PC but I don't think I will ever purchase a PC for home use again.

This purchase was well worth the price. I was skeptical about apple computers prior to buying this. I have no regrets. It is very easy to use and it makes the internet surfing experience a wonderful one.
