I love this apple computer. It is fast and I love the built in Chess game. I have not beat the computer yet but I am working on it. Great computer and it has a sterling reputation. So yippie.

I am a long time PC user and wanted to try a mac. I have been impressed with iTunes, my iPad and iPhone. The iMac has been great. It looks impressive and is a joy to use. It takes a little bit of reading to understand the PC/Mac differences but it is a great machine and I highly recommend it.

This is one of the best investments. The speed is great and it is very easy to operate and navigate.

I have always had PC's when growing up, but once my Dad purchased a Mac about a year ago I slowly started to change my way of thinking! This is a great computer and I will never go back to a regular PC again. It did take when a little while to get use to how a Mac works and I am still learning, but it is a great experience. Even though the price is high compared to PC's it is well worth it. Great Mac for a beginner!!!

A MAC is so easy to use. Almost as easy as my I-Phone. The only problem I have had is opening files that I migrated from my PC to the Mac. But the app store has had a solution for my problems so far. The screen resolution is very clear and the processor is lightning fast .

I saved up for this as $1200 seemed a bit much, especially adding a new printer and Time Capsule. We bought the 21.5" which had a 500GB hard drive as Time Capsule has more storage as well. We used Geek Squad installation. I can now use my IPAD from the living room and print in the "computer room". Getting used to a non-traditional operating system takes some getting used to. However, almost everything seems better. The keyboard is metal and not plastic. The mouse with no buttons is also high quality and actually fun to use. Really love our new machine. We ended up spending $2,000 but am pleased we saved up and bought quality.

We've been holding off switching to Mac for years b/c of Quicken but finally decided to take the plunge. Love love love this computer. Faster processing, super fast restart when necessary, tons more user friendly experience overall. Still haven't found a perfect solution for the Quicken problem (using a combination of Moneydance & mint.com - will just have to do) but I don't care because I love this computer.

I bought my first Mac -- a MacBook -- after Christmas 2007, and I thought it was the most amazing computing experience I've ever had...then I got this new iMac. Wow. Just wow. Just a few observations I'd like to share: - This is a HEAVY MACHINE. Literally. I'm a big guy, pretty strong, but it was heavier than it looks! - The initial power-on is just plain fun. - Even the "small" 21.5-inch screen is quite amazing in the home office. - The wireless keyboard is extremely handy in a cramped space. - Normally I prefer using a trackball over a mouse, but the Magic Mouse that comes packaged is simply amazing, with all the gestures etc. A couple of oddities, though...first of all, this unit actually came with Snow Leopard, not Lion. No problem, I had a copy of Lion that I installed. (You're allowed up to three uses.) Also, I do believe that if you buy a new Mac now, you're untitled to a free upgrade to Lion. Other oddity -- and I consider this a serious design flaw -- is that the SuperDrive slot (which itself is bad -- slot-loading DVD/CD drives are NOT a good idea for various reasons) is just a few millimeters away from the SD card slot, and both are the same thickness. If you're not careful, it's easy to put an SD card into the SuperDrive slot; thankfully I quickly discovered this as I was trying to insert an SD card and narrowly avoided catastrophe. The sound quality of the speakers is good, but not great. As it was when I got my MacBook in 2007, the price is well below what the actual value is.

I am enjoying the mac. I think its a little pricey but if it performs and lasts the way its supposed to, it will be worth it. I'm having a little trouble getting used to Mac (vs PC) but with a little help from my friends and hands on play, i think i'll make it. The screen is beautiful and the apps are very convenient. I was disappointed in the speakers, but i suppose that's the perfect excuse to get the Bose speakers ;) So far I'm pleased and am hoping it only gets better.

I LOVE my new iMac. I bought it to replace a 10 year old MAC, so I know I can count on Apple for reliability. I got the 21" monitor and find it to be plenty big for my daily use. My old MAC was sorely out of date in terms of memory and features, so the speed and capabilities of the iMac are absolutely amazing to me. I bought the wired keyboard for the number pad, which I use often; Also, I opted for a wired mouse. Both are excellent. I had difficulty in being able to download the free OS-X upgrade to Mountain Lion, but I got stellar support from Apple to walk me through the non-intuitive process. I should like to have had the OS on a CD, but Apple quit making them.

I'm a life long Windows user. The iMac has a totally different concept. I'm still learning and it is frustrating at times since the operations are not the same for the most part. It is great to have "Bootcamp"! I installed Windows 7 [unfortunately I need it], and am able to work in Windows and at other times continue to learn the Apple system. I am now a dedicated Apple customer. Once I learn it, no more Windows for me, and no more talking to India reps.

I've owned several laptops and time after time they crapped out on me, usually within 2-4 years. which was obviously very upsetting, so i decided to get a desktop, originally a pc, but after looking at the mac's i was stunned and had to have one. Despite the price i went ahead and got this one and i most certainly do not have buyers remorse on this higher priced item. So far i love it ive had it for a few weeks now its pretty fast for being their cheapest possible setup, and the sound quality along with the picture quality are absolutely stunning!! everyday i find a new feature about this computer that made it all the more worth it. Apple has out done themselves with all their products i love my iphone and it goes perfect with this computer. GREAT PRODUCT!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A PC!! YOU WONT REGRET BUYING A MAC I SWEAR IT!!!

I bought this computer for my wife to use to aid in homeschooling my son. It has been a great addition for creating cirriculum. Watching the list of things you should know when going from pc to mac helped alot. Overall we are very satisfied.

I had been a PC user for years and after speaking with my nephew at Christmas started seriously looking at the Apple products to replace a Dell laptop that had seen its better days. Love the speed, and converting from PC to Mac has not been all that tough. I will definitely purchase Mac product again as we are currently looking at that when oldest heads to college. So glad that i took the time to speak with my nephew over Christmas. The speed of the Mac is amazing and with Office for Mac I am able to use several programs that I am already comfortable with to help the learning curve. Folks at Best Buy were very helpful too!!

I'm in love with this computer!!! I finally decided to make the switch from PC to Mac. Best choice I could have made. This computer is amazing! From the great programs to the various functions, this computer keeps surprising me every single day. The iLife that comes standard on this is fantastic! I was able to create a music video for my boyfriend's band in just about 4 hours and it looks so professional! His band asked if I had this done by some video guru but no! It was me! This is how a computer SHOULD be!!!

About a month ago I finally made the switch from MS after 20+ years. I don't know why I waited so long. This is an excellent machine. Can do everything I did with MS only better and then some. I just wish I had made the switch sooner.

First Mac and very pleased with it. Added more memory so I could do virtualization of other OS's. Could very well forget about MS for most part.

The only difficulty I have had is with the mouse. Sometimes it zooms in on its own, and I can't reverse the action easily. Overall, though, this is a great computer.

Quality product, exceptional performance, easy to set up and use.

I've considered switching to a Mac for several years and finally did it. I'm very pleased that I did. Although I still have much to learn in the way of understanding file structure, system enhancement, tweaking, etc. It doesn't prevent me from enjoying the speed, responsiveness, & easy to use structure of the system. It is so fast when comparing to my Windows systems. iTunes loads in about 1.5 seconds compared to 20-30 seconds on my PC. And by the way, the monitor is fantastic. So beautiful!! I have a feeling I will never be fully satisfied with my PC again. Love the bluetooth keyboard and mouse.
