I got this iMac for my mother-in-law. It's a great system for her, has plenty of power, a great screen size, and it took her very little time to get used to the Mac OS after having windows vista on her old system. She wanted something that would last her a minimum of 5 years, and I'm confident this iMac will. The build quality is Apple's typical excellence, the integration of features is flawless, and it has provided her with a system that doesn't take 10 minutes to boot, or launch a web browser. I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for an easy to set up and use computer, a "set it and forget it" type of installation. The only downside for her was her slow DSL took hours to download the update to Mavericks.

This is my first apple I've gotten in my life and i must say that I'm really enjoying it! The design and performance surpass other computers.

I love my new apple computer. It's sleek design with great visual display. Apple has made it very easy to transition from windows. Very reliable.

I purchased this Mac as a replacement for a Windows-based computer that crashed miserably (hardware failure). Although I have used an IPhone for years, it has been an adjustment getting used to the Apple OS and applications; but overall I am pleased. The only complaint I have about the Mac is the standard keyboard. It looks and feels like something stripped from a laptop or a 2-in-1 tablet vs. the Microsoft enhanced keyboards I am accustomed to using at work, and previously at home. Once I purchase the Mac version of Office, and a couple of other programs I could not transfer, I look forward to taking advantage of the Mac's capabilities.

This computer is sleek. It's fast and gets everything I need done. Plenty of RAM and hard drive space. Perfect for editing projects on.

After 15 years in the non-Apple world, I finally began my switch over to Apple-based products (iPod, iPad, iPhone 5, Apple TV) and finally bit the bullet (price-wise) and got my iMac. For what I use my PC's for (financial matters, email, music) this setup was all that I needed and then some. The setup was extremely smooth and simple, ease of use is exactly that and more, and the Apple OS is so much easier to work with (that's because it's Linux based!) and blows Windows away! Safari is a bullet train compared to Windows Explorer/Google Chrome. I truly can't say enough about how this iMac has changed how things happen in my home (especially since I can sync EVERYTHING together now!!). Anyone who's one the fence about buying one, push yourself over to the Apple side of the fence. You won't be sorry.

My first apple product. Reviewed product and talked to others that have apple products and decided that it was right for me. Even though the initial price for the desk top was a little higher, it seemed about the same price considering I didn't have to buy all the office software, and virus protection that are required by other machines. (and continue to pay every year to update license for software. Love it.

Nice steak design and fast. Need to get used to going from windows to mac but so far so good

Color display is awesome. Fast downloading and so far no stalls or hang ups as with my old PC. Easy to navigate. Sleek looking. The main reason I switched was to sync with my iPad and iPhone. it's amazing to have all devices maintain all the same info without duplicating entries.

We had an old computer and we bought this Apple and let me tell you we didn't know what we were missing out on. It's wireless, fast, and very secure. It also prints with our new wireless printer. We love it.Plus does a number more things that we are learning. Another great feature is Face time.

The sales representative recommended an upgrade of this MAC computer because I mentioned that my previous MAC was a much older model and was starting to get slow. I was reluctant to spend the extra money, but am now grateful that I did. Not only is it super quick, but it will also be able to accommodate and store all of those high school papers that my child will have to write over the next four years.

I've always been an Apple/Mac fan, and have used a Macbook in the past. This is my first iMac and I love it. The screen is a good size and has a great picture. Just everything about this computer is user-friendly and I hope it will last us a long time. Since we already have iPhones and iPads, this computer makes it really easy to sync everything with the iCloud. My only complaint is the price, and we're not crazy about the Apple mouse that comes with it. Will be upgrading to a trackpad mouse soon.
