This often comes with every new iPhone that you purchase and it's common for them to go missing because so many people have them and sometimes yours can get misplaced. I always wait for them to go on Sale when I'm looking to buy another one. The length is a little short, but that's a personal preference. There is a longer length one that is about 6 feet I believe.
