I bought this as a replacement for my Macbook charger that I have had for years. I recommend this as a great charger for anyone and I can tell it will last me for many more years.

A good replacement for the original power chord which developed frayed wires after so many years of use. Apple no longer sells the replacement but Best Buy was able to locate the needed item. The "disappointed customer" nickname is not of my choosing. Someone else designated that negative name. How can that negative name be changed?

After the silly puppies decided the original cord was a chew toy (no, it wasn’t plugged in), I needed a replacement. This is the exact Apple charging cord. I had gone to another big box store where they sold me the wrong one. The Best Buy associate walked me to the spot, picked it out, and I was on my way in about five minutes.

Originally it took awhile for the helpers to select the correct cord to work with the Mac Air-someday I hope all power sources are the same connection so I can stop having so many cords! This has a good tight connection and seems to charge quickly. I'm not sure if that is a result of the cord or the computer. My puppy chewed my other one, so I was glad I could get a replacement at Best Buy!
