Bought this to replace my iPad mini 2 and I love it! Same awesome size, faster, can run iPad OS 13, and works with the first gen Apple Pencil!!! I joined Apple Arcade, downloaded some games and connected my Xbox one s blue tooth controller, it works great.

Perfect for my toddler. I have the original iPad (10.2 inch) and whenever my daughter would fall asleep this would fall straight on her face. The size is perfect for a child and the clarity of the image is great too. If they didn’t sell out so quick I would have definitely bought another one

Good battery life, great screen quality, easy to use.

I have been only using Android tablets before, but due to the need of using an app that was only available on iOS, I decided to jump back with Apple and try again. First off, the size and feel of the device is great, simplicity and speed excellent. Good execution there. I even started to enjoy the Apple ecosystem again. Now the bad part for me. Every tablet I have purchased prior were all Wi-Fi only, and all had a GPS receiver. I therefore never thought twice about it, and didn't dwell enough on the specs of this device. I decided on the wifi only as I always tether with my phone, and it is enough to go through the day. But Apple decided to NOT put a GPS receiver on the wifi only device. It only exists on the Cellular+wifi unit. My app is therefore useless, as it requires a GPS signal to work. I do not need cellular on my tablets and therefore do not want to be forced to pay for that unnecessary extra. I know it is my fault for not having seen this before I purchased the device, but this is one of the reasons why I stay away from Apple products. Why would you have such a portable device without a reliable location receiver is beyond me. It is a useless device if you need to travel a lot. Because of this and the fact I realized this past my return time, I am stuck with a neat paperweight. This was my last foray in the Apple grove, and I wish it would have had a different outcome.

Replaced my 5 year old iPad mini with the latest model.

It’s a nice little iPad for myself and my kids. It’s small and goes right into my purse! I think it’s better than buying a crappy little tablet and this is better quality which lasts longer with great support. Ty Bb! It was a great deal for Black Friday too at 100 off on each. I bought 2.

I upgraded from an ipad mini 2 and the performance difference is amazing! This is way faster. I love that the screen is very clear and setup was a breeze. I think this is one of the most powerful tablets on the market right now. It’s lightweight and has a good battery life. I definitely recommend this!

I needed to upgrade my iPad mini. Mine was a mini 2 so I had had it for years. Still worked fine but was only 32 gb and I wanted more. I’ve tried to use the regular iPad but it seems too big to be comfortably portable. Love the mini for that reason. I can put it in my pocketbook if I want. Just love it!

iPad owner since the very first iPad was introduced. I upgrade every year and they just keep getting better, faster, lighter. This time around, I bought an iPad mini to supplement my pro for times when I don’t want to haul a bag around. The mini is perfect for these occasions. Highly recommend.

It may be small but it's powerful. The screen is wonderful and when used with the Apple pencil it works beautifully. I also have the 2017 12.9" iPad Pro but it's too big to carry around with you comfortably. But the Mini 5 is perfect for almost all occasions.

Easy holding than larger one. Easy to carryon anytime. And also it was very fast and easy to buy from best buy rather than waiting long in apple store

This tablet is great. I updated from an iPad mini 4 to this iPad. Even though it looks the same, it was totally worth it. The processing speed is super fast and the integration of the ability to use the Apple Pencil is awesome. This tablet is perfect to travel with and to take notes. Highly recommended!

Bought this to replace my mom's iPad mini 2 32GB. The processing is noticeably faster. The iPad is also thinner when compared to the mini 2. So now I have to purchase a new cover. The new one has much more basic space so now she doesn't have the problem of trying to update her apps.

I've always enjoyed the size and portability of the iPad Mini; even more so given my tendency to read books and quickly digest email correspondence. Although this device isn't meant to be a huge productivity booster it does provide me with a sense of quick access and media consumption on the fly.

I bought this for self check-in at our business. The screen is nice and bright, the touch features are responsive and dependable, the battery life goes on for DAYS just using it for this purpose. I would consider a mini iPad if I took it everywhere with me, too, because it's so light and easier to carry than an ipad pro.

This is the top mid size tablet on the market! I've owned pretty much all the tablets in the 7 to 9 inch range and this one ranks at the top of the list! Smooth transition in and out of apps, clear audio and video, smooth operating system and it charges up from 0 to 100 within a hour, I love it!

Bought this for my daughter for an upgrade. She has an older iPad Air which was a lot slower but still functional. The iPad mini is a whole lot faster and the processing power is there to handle anything you throw at it. Games, school work, movies, etc. everything flows smoothly.

I love my iPad mini! I use an iPad everyday for my work cases and I had the standard size but it was just too big and uncomfortable to carry from case to case. I decided to get this iPad mini and it’s the perfect size for me! I use it daily for over 6 hours and have no issues!!

If all you do is read Twitter, a few comics, email and the occasionally Youtube video it's got more power than you'll ever tap, weighs nothing and takes up no space. Always loved the mini but it was windy overdue for a spec bump and this is it.

I am replacing my Samsung that wont stay charged. I absolutely loved my Samsung and would have payed to get if fixed but the price on this was just to good. Good things. Its apple and it works seemless with my iPhone. Awesome! View for watching shows and surfing the internet. It is a larger screen than i am used to but amazing color. I can answer my phone with it. FaceTime with it. I am pleased with it. I will say this. Again i loved my Samsung. The size was great and the weight was good. I bought the ipad and it is larger and heavier and at times a little awkward but i may not be used to it either. If i wanted something closer to the Samsung i should have got the MINI. But again for the price i couldn't resist. I have used apple for a while but not an ipad. So it has taken me a few minutes to get used to. I have a plus phone and now in comparison the phone seems small. I love being able to surf the internet and watch programs. I bought a pencil only because i thought it was cool. I found that I don't have a use for it, and i returned it.
