This is my first iPad since the iPad 2 and I will admit it better. Faster, brighter and so much potential. I would love to have the Apple pencil but am not thrilled to spend $100 for it. The clarity of the images and video is outstanding. I can't wait to so more!

I had an Old iPad and my daughter introduced me to the iPad Pro.. after seeing hers, I HAD to have one! Loving it... I wanted the gold color because my prior phone was the gold and I had loved it.. this year my phone is rose pink and it does not give me the happy feeling... Normally I thoroughly read reviews , but in this case, I did not need reviews, I knew what I was buying....

Great Ipad, faster than my old on, love the use of the touch passwords.

At the beginning, I bought this IPAD just for my children's enjoyment, such as watching animation. However, when I have been familiar with many of its functions, I found maybe it could do much more than I thought. It is an excellent product which can be used by my children for drawing and other study purposes, also which can be used for research. I like it!

I love my new apple iPad Pro 9.7-inch, it is light weight and easy to use, it is replacing my old iPad 2 and has so many new features. It is a great addition to my family of apple users.

I am not particularly a fanboy of Apple and their products so this is a very unbiased review. I bought the Rose Gold model as a gift for my mom (when it was on sale a couple of months ago) and she absolutely loved it. It was far far better than her previous Ipad 2 tablet. As many have already mentioned, its a quality tablet: amazing display, fast processor, beautiful color, great battery life, very light and easy to use. There is nothing that really disappoints (apart from its slightly expensive pricing , which I highly recommend you purchasing only when it is on sale). Apple's major competitor Microsoft, has been keeping toe to toe with them in all departments. Their Surface line of tablets are quite impressive ( I myself own a Surface 3) with similar price points. The only advantage I see getting a Surface over the Ipad would be if you want the full Windows 10 experience, as it pretty much is a full fledged PC and can run all desktop applications and software. Apple definitely has much more App support and most people own other Apple products so its easy to sync or upgrade from older Apple products. There are also many more Apple Stores around, in case you need to get it serviced. All in all, a great buy, highly recommended! My advice is to purchase the Apple care extended service, as it will save you a lot in case of any mishaps down the years.

This purchase was a replacement for the older Retina model which was getting slow. The new screen is amazingly good and color are better than the retina. The 9.7 inch is just about right size to carry in a purse and its lighter and thinner, giving it less weight and easy to fit. The speed is faster, but time will tell if this truly will stand extended time and changes in the OS. The set up was a breeze and with the pen, it is excellent. Still have some incompatibility with the common "DOS" type of files and app and so not used widely in office application. Overall, a good device.

I purchased this item when it first released and was unable to find a place that sold both Pencil and Pro at the time. Luckily Best Buy had stock of both. I decided to purchase this item after deciding that my iPad 4th gen was beginning to feel slow and figured it'd be time for an upgrade. The iPad Pro 9.7 is a lot faster than my 4th gen iPad and aside from the hiccups going on within the 9.3 iOS update, the tablet has been perfect. The Pro 9.7 is light, fast, and holds a charge extremely well. I forget some days to charge it and it still manages to get me through the next day. The tablet works flawlessly with Apple's Pencil and makes it easy to write notes with all the apps available. The speakers of the Pro 9.7 are also a huge upgrade. Having four speakers gives movies a whole different vibe with the ability to do surround sound. The sound quality is great and the volume can go way louder than my previous tablet. My only complaint with this device is the lack of 4gb of ram. Despite the ram issues, I am able to run my music programs flawlessly with Audiobus linking several apps. When it came to my old tablet, making music was a bit harder because I'd always have to wear headphones to completely hear the instrument and after awhile would become a bit much on the ears. With the Pro's new speakers, it is a lot nicer to be able to hear the quality of the sounds and create music without needing headphones. Another feature of the new tablet is the true tone. Some may say the True Tone is a bit too yellow but I can honestly say after leaving it on for the past few weeks, it is extremely hard to go back to the bright white screen. True Tone truly does make it easier on the eyes (especially at night). I only wish this feature had been implemented sooner. I'd suggest buying a tempered glass screen protector if you plan on buying the Pencil for this device. I've read about people getting small debris in their pencil, forgetting to clean it off, and scratching the screen up. You can usually find them pretty cheap and will get used to the feel of it relatively quickly.

Although pricey - as expected from most Apple products - this device along with Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard, make it as useful as my windows and macbook laptops for a fraction of the weight, longer battery life, and ultimately amazing portability. Using productivity - free - apps such as Microsoft Word and Excel on multi-tasking view, without losing speed, listening to a video or song in background app, put the iPad Pro on the same productivity level as my laptops. And the speed is sometimes faster than what I have in a desktop OS, where the multiple apps each respond as fast as if they were running by themselves instead of multitasking. Screen resolution is great, along with the True Tone feature, make the brightness levels conformtable anywhere without getting my eyes tired after 2 or 3 hours of work. Battery life according to logs in the Settings menu, show little over 10 hours of usage after full charge. In weekly usage that translates to 3 days of battery before having to charge iPad at 10% battery warning. Storage is great, 128gb are more than enough to store 10 HD iTunes movies, 300 songs, 100 pictures, productivity apps and their files, all having 50gb to spare for 4K video recording or pictures. Using devices like iPad Pro or Microsoft's Surface Pro convice me that tablets are more than able to replace conventional laptops. P.S. wrote this review on the iPad Pro with Smart Keyboard.

My first iPad was the iPad 2 which was absolutely the best in it's class for the first couple of years when it was first released. After that I Got the iPad Air in 2013 and that has been excellent -in fact it was so good I saw no urgency to upgrade. Recently however the airs battery started to show signs of its age and I felt it was time. I started looking at the air 2 but it just seemed too much like the air to go with so I quickly dismissed that choice. I next saw the epic iPad Pro 12 .9 -this was awesome but it was also quite heavy and not very portable at all which of course is one of the iPad's most important features. So next I started using this one at the store and it was immediately apparent how much better this was than any iPad before it. These are the reasons why: *It is lightning fast-much faster even than the speedy air-everything you do is super quick and powerful *The true tone screen is superb with rich lifelike colors that no other iPad has ever had *Its a lot lighter than even the first air and it has all the power of the larger pro( but a lot easier to carry around!) *It has 4 speakers and they are fantastic-producing rich full sound -perfect for watching YouTube tv shows and movies *iphone 6s cameras-including 4K video -easily the best cameras ever on a tablet. 9x chip the most powerful ever in a tablet more powerful than many lab tops Bottom line:a great purchase you will definitely enjoy for years to come

i am really enjoying my ipad pro 9.7. For me the size is perfect. The speakers really sound terrific. I watch lots of movies and do listen to some music and all sound great. The camera takes great pictures and the screen color! I can't say anything bad about this Ipad. Mine is the 128 so it has plenty of memory storage for my needs ...plus the price right now is reasonable for such a device. I have not downloaded ios 11 so I cannot comment on that.
