I’ve been really impressed with the AirPods Max 2. The sound quality is excellent, with clear vocals, strong bass, and a really wide, detailed soundstage. The noise cancellation is also one of the best features — it does a great job blocking out background noise without making everything feel overly muffled. They’re definitely on the heavier side, but I find them comfortable even for longer listening sessions. The build quality feels premium, and the integration with Apple devices is extremely smooth. Switching between my iPhone, iPad, and Mac is basically effortless. Battery life has been solid, and the transparency mode is probably the best I’ve used on any headphones. My biggest complaint is still the price, and I wish Apple included a more protective case. Overall, though, if you’re already heavily invested in the Apple ecosystem and want premium over-ear headphones, the AirPods Max 2 are excellent.

Amazing sound and excellent noise cancellation The AirPods Max 2 are honestly one of the best headphones I’ve ever used. The sound quality is incredibly clear and detailed, with deep bass and very natural vocals. The noise cancellation is also excellent, especially when traveling or in a noisy environment. They connect seamlessly with my Apple devices, and the controls are very easy to use. I also really like the Transparency mode because it sounds natural when you need to hear what’s happening around you. The build quality feels premium and comfortable, and the USB-C connection is a great upgrade. Battery life is also very good for everyday use. Overall, if you’re already in the Apple ecosystem and want premium over-ear headphones with excellent sound, noise cancellation, and smart features, I highly recommend the AirPods Max 2. Definitely worth it!

I purchased the AirPods Max 2 in blue from Best Buy, and they have quickly become my go-to headphones. I’m now reaching for them more often than my Bose, which is probably the strongest endorsement I can give. This is one of those purchases where the appeal goes beyond the design—you actually look forward to using them. The sound is rich and detailed, with satisfying bass, clear vocals, and an immersive quality that makes music genuinely enjoyable. Active Noise Cancellation helps keep distractions in the background, while Transparency mode lets you hear your surroundings without taking the headphones off. Personalized Spatial Audio adds another dimension to supported music and movies. There is a lot here to appreciate beyond simply turning up the volume. Ease of setup is another highlight. Pairing with a compatible iPhone or iPad is handled through straightforward on-screen prompts, and automatic setup across supported Apple devices using the same Apple Account makes the experience especially convenient. Less time dealing with settings and more time enjoying what you bought—that’s how it should work. The blue finish gives them a distinctive, polished look without being flashy. The aluminum ear cups, cushioned over-ear design, and mesh headband add to the premium appeal. I also appreciate the simplicity of the Digital Crown: having a physical control for volume and playback is a thoughtful touch. Battery life is another strong point for everyday use. Apple rates them for up to 20 hours of listening with Active Noise Cancellation enabled, and USB-C charging is a welcome convenience—no separate, headphone-specific charging cable to keep track of. A five-minute charge providing around 90 minutes of listening is a useful bonus when you need a quick top-up. I’m also glad they work with Find My. At this price, a way to locate them is practical, not just an extra line on the spec sheet. For me, the combination of sound, style, useful features, and everyday convenience makes this an easy five-star purchase. My Bose headphones haven’t disappeared—they’re just spending considerably more time waiting their turn!

Just like Apple. Well made and very premium. The sound quality is amazing and is way better than Bose headphones. I don’t find them heavy and are very comfortable for me. Been wanting to purchase these since they came out and with the BB 60th Anniversary sale it was a no brainer. Only downside is that they do not have an off button and even in low power mode they lose about 2-5% of battery daily unless in the case. Btw… the case is ugly too, so plan on buying something better when traveling. These are a definite must when traveling by air.

The AirPods Max with USB-C hit all the right notes for build and sound performance. The switch to USB-C makes charging effortless across all my tech gear. Active Noise Cancellation is top-of-the-line, completely blocking out background noise during work sessions and travel. Transparency mode remains the most natural-sounding on the market, and the spatial audio experience is incredibly immersive. The mesh headband and ear cushions stay comfortable even over hours of wear, and the physical digital crown controls are precise and responsive. Highly recommended if you want premium sound and solid ecosystem integration.

First time owning a pair of Airpods Max 2, I own air pods pro 2 and Bose QC 1 and 2 in the past. In terms of sound quality and noise cancellation these are the best I have ever owned in those two categories. The noise cancellation while speaking is a nice feature even if it is sometimes slow to respond. Two things to consider if you're looking at these headphones is while they are made of aluminum and feel sturdy that also means they are heavier than plastic headphones. They are still comfortable but you will notice it if you're active with the headphones on. Second is the battery life while not in use, you need to shut off find my feature and do some other settings adjustment or else the headphones die just sitting in storage. The carry on case simplistic design maybe a negative for some people as it doesn't fold as compact as some competitors. Overall I gave 5 stars for the excellent sound quality, features and ease of use with apple products.

I think people are pretty harsh about this product just because it’s Apple. I spend a lot of time making music and mastering and mixing audio. When connected with a direct USB C connection, the lossless audio is incredible. They have really good mids, highs, and lows the battery life is pretty substantial. My only critique is that because Apple is always concerned about making a product feel and look premium, they can be a little heavy after sometime.

Sound: 4.5/5 ! Great noise cancellation and great noise cancellation. Would love if lossless was supported wirelessly. Design: 4/5. Wish the cuffs were waterproof but overall very comfortable. Kinda heavy. Usability: 5/5 works great with my Apple products and with my projector via Bluetooth.

Someone who has owned the first generation of this pair of AirPods Max Pro and also the main competitors Sony XM-5, Sennheiser Momentum 4, Bose 700 and the Nothing Headphones(1), this upgrade was worth the wait if you were considering upgrading from any of the previous generations of premium headphones. I actually tried the new Sony XM6, and the newest Bose QuietComfort and returned them to wait out this newest release, and these are by far the best noise canceling. My neighbor runs a daycare and I can barely hear the kids outside when I work from home some days. If you already own the AirPods Max 1, these have better battery life than mine, when I first got them. I also love how I can pair my 2 Apple headphones to my Apple TV and watch loud movies with my husband without my missing any of the cinematic sound and effects. I just wish the color was more like the orange on the iPhone 17 Pro than peach.

These have been awesome so far. The audio quality is excellent, noise cancellation works really well, and they’re comfortable even after wearing them for a few hours. They connect instantly to my Apple devices, and I haven’t had any issues. Expensive, but I’m happy with the purchase and would recommend them.

These honestly changed my life. I upgraded to the AirPods Max 2 after almost four years with my Sennheiser headphones, and I didn’t think I’d notice that much of a difference, but wow, I was wrong!!! The sound quality is absolutely incredible. Everything sounds so crisp, full, and immersive that I actually look forward to listening to music, podcasts, or watching movies with them. They’re also unbelievably comfortable. I can wear them for hours without feeling like I need to take them off. Yes, they’re expensive, but for me they’ve been worth every single penny. I don’t regret buying them for a second, and I’d recommend them to anyone who’s thinking about getting a pair. If you’re on the fence, this is your sign to go for it! :)

Sounds great, feel good. The only thing I’d say is you can’t workout in these.

I am a heavy Apple user so I’ve always been interested in the AirPods Max but with the AirPods Max 2 I absolutely fell in love. Surprisingly these are very comfortable. I still maintain that they’re a little lighter than the first generation even though Apple doesn’t say anything about that the sound quality is absolutely amazing. The base is punchy and strong unlike the first generation and if you’re an Apple user these seamlessly connect to all your devices and the noise canceling is amazing

The headphones have excellent ergonomics; they fit perfectly on your head. The sound quality is excellent. They may be a little heavy in your hands, but on your head, the weight is practically unnoticeable due to their excellent position. Sound isolation is 10 out of 10. The transparency mode is incredible. I highly recommend them to anyone who owns Apple products.

If you’re immersed in the Apple ecosystem, which I am, these over the ear headphones are a great choice. I traded in old headphones to get some credit towards these bc expensive!! I wouldn’t wear these to the gym. I see them being worn at the gym I go to all the time and hope the owners don’t have issues in the future. They aren’t water resistant and condensation issues are a known problem. Also, get apple care on these— they’re too pricey to not have a warranty for accidents. Noise canceling works great! It can be noisy at my apartment complex and I work from home, so I really need the NC feature so I can concentrate better. I also love how they automatically switch between my Apple products depending on which one I’m using at the moment. Apple TV, iPhone, MacBook, iPad…. Whichever I’m on, it’s on. People say their hear me very clearly when I’m on the phone, so the microphone seemingly works great. Music and TV have very deep, clear bass, and the details I hear that I didn’t hear before wearing them are amazing. Highly recommend, awesome product!

The product has been one of my best product I’ve ever purchased it sound great the condition is easy to connect and I love using it. I open it yesterday. I start using it and it’s very very nice and I’m glad to have one. The delivery was nice very secure very nice. They didn’t stress me out. I’ve been wanting some over the ear headphones for a while now and decided I would try these. After a while for the first week my neck believe it or not was really sore but I got used to it. Although there heavy they’re a really great listening experience they sound great and have really improved the noise cancellation. Would I get these over other cheaper options probably not but there’s other great options these are for those who really want to stick to the apple ecosystem but I don’t regret buying these headphones
