These headphones are amazing I can wear them all day if I need to and while I’m just walking around somewhere I can cancel the noise or just listen to my surroundings all while still wearing them

All the expectation surrounding the quality of these headphones was pleasantly met. If you are looking for clear and balanced sound, these fit the bill. They feel solid in your hands (and heavy on the head) but comfortable to wear (at least for me) for a few hours. Noise cancellation is better than my Sony XM4. Digital crown dial and secondary button does the trick to play, pause, and toggle ANC (Sony did spoil me with the tapping of headset to play/pause but it's fine) Spatial audio is mind blowing and the convenience to easily connect to any Apple device - including the Apple TV is how you're rewarded for being a part of their ecosystem. Sony's way to pair only two devices simultaneously comes at a cost of lower bitrate of music. And if paired with an iPhone, when people call me, they tell me I sound great with little background noise. It is a bit of a head scratcher that they don't support the higher quality bitrate of music that Apple Music has in their library. Also, charging by lightning cable instead of USB-C is also a selfish decision on their part but the battery life is great. If you have a really large head, make a hard pass onto something else. If you want skull crushing bass response, go elsewhere. The bra/purse/case to allow it to go into very low power mode is not very attractive in my opinion. Thankfully there are 3rd party cases that now do the same thing and it protects it better when thrown in the backpack for travel. I got these headphone at a great price due to price matching (Amazon), BB rewards cash back, and a gift certificate I got for my b-day. Took the price way down below $300 (and it came included with 2 years of AppleCare). Considering next gen APM should be announced this year, the price of this model should go down and make it even more suitable for purchase. I've used the APM for about a month.

I love having something so compatible with my other apple products again! I mainly use these for person reasons: watching shows on my Mac or listening to music. I really love the color and design structure. I have the ‘gold’ Mac and the pink/red color option matches it perfect! noise cancellation is a 9/10 the controls are also easy to navigate

After 2 years, still my best airpods that I own to date. Lasts me so long, my mic is always clear (accdg to my work mates) and anc is better that I expected.

I’m always on the look out for good headphones as I travel quite a bit. Noise canceling is a must. Wasn’t sure if these would be an upgrade from my Bose ones and they were. I’ve been most impressed with the noise canceling now that I’ve gotten back on a plane. It really cut out all the background engine and ventilation noise even better than the wired headphones they give you upfront. The only bummer is you can’t plug them into the airplane’s system (unless you get the adapter). Also I noticed if you turn on transparency mode on the plane you can’t hear most of your movie. One small downside is that I’ve noticed it’s hard to hear yourself when on video meetings (like Teams), but that odd easily remedied by turning on transparency mode (which is awesome too, it’s almost like getting amplified sound). Overall I think they are a buy, if you’re in the Apple ecosystem.

i am in love with my airpod maxes. i’m coming from beats solo3 and i find these way more comfortable on the top of my head and on my ears. the netting on the top makes it so that the headphones don’t hang heavily on your head. the comfort is perfect for long drives or flights. my two cons to these are that they don’t fit comfortably with eyeglasses. they kind of make the legs of my glasses squeeze into the sides of my temple and hurt a bit. i end up taking my eyeglasses off most times. secondly, the noise cancellation works excellent for a space like a plane, a slightly bustling noisy room, but when directly next to loud people, you need to really put your volume up to fully drown them out which isn’t always ideal, because i can get headaches from music being too loud. aside from those two points, these headphones are a dream. i was able to get a free trial of apple music (along with other things) with my purchase and the dolby atmos in apple music with these headphones is incredible. the quality of sound is absolutely unmatched.

They work so well and the noise cancelling is mind blowing. The only downside is they tend to slip a little bit and seem to have stretched out from wear, but that is normal. Overall love these and they’re totally worth it.

They're my fave headphones and I've all apple wireless headphones. I use older pods for work, my pros in my purse and my max for at home. If I decide to carry a backpack purse I'll take my max if I'm going to be somewhere I'll need headphones. I will say if you don't place them in a comfortable position they may take some getting used to. I only say this because sometimes I wear I high bun and it gets in the way. Of course if you don't wear that hairstyle you won't have this issue. Once in hot weather while cleaning my ears were a little hot but now I just simply don't use them if its too hot. Sound and style I love. I do wish the case protected the headband though. Definitely have the best sound out of all apple headphones in my opinion. I recommend these headphones.

I have Beats a well but like these headphones better bc of the fit. The Beats hurt my ears since they fit extra snugged. I’ve had them for a while and are my go to.

I bought these Apple headphones for my child, and they have been a great purchase. The sound quality is excellent, offering clear audio without being overly loud, which is ideal for young ears. I bought this sometime around November of 2023 and have used them long enough to be able to review them. Personally, I wish I would’ve got black but the silver is very nice. The sound quality is great and the noise canceling sounds really good especially if you’re in a noisy classroom or environment. Very rarely for me is the connection a bit wonky but it’s never been a big deal. The only negative I can say is that make sure they are ALWAYS charged because once you slack and start letting the battery get lower and lower before you plug it in, it will start to die quicker than you think. And the silver is definitely prone to a lot of dirtiness if you don’t stay on top of cleaning them; but other than that I think they’re great! I’ve had both the newest Beats and these, and besides the price I’d 100% choose these. One more thing to remember is that these are overhead headphones so people around will hear your music the higher you go, it’s like a little speaker if you’re alone and don’t feel like wearing them lol.

Sound quality is superior and noise cancellation works very well. Only down fall for me is how it’s kinda heavy on the head and slips off from time to time. For the price, I think other brands that’s like $200 would probably be better than this one. But if you have all the Apple products, then using this one for connectivity would be pretty useful.

I have so many headphones; all I do is listen to music. These are by far in my top three. I love the noise-cancelling on these. Apple is not the best company, but they make some good headphones, haha! Plus, the battery life is nice. I haven't worn them for an entire day because I don't use over-the-ear headphones all of the time, but I do wear them every day. They have lasted me about 3 days with my wear time. Everyone will be different depending on your amount of wear time.

Bought these for my wife about a year ago and she loves them still uses them daily and says they are better than anything else
