Got these open box nearly two years for a heavy discount and they might as well have been brand new. No signs of wear physically or in the sound, and the sound itself is fantastic. No other Bluetooth headphone compares. The build quality is also fantastic, I’ve tossed them loosely in bags filled with other things and it’s never been a problem, although id still advise against doing so. Build quality is completely unparalleled as well, the all metal build feels solid and is still very comfortable for me despite the weight. Only two complaints is the way they turn off automatically when taken off and the less smooth experience when not using Apple products. The auto turn off can be annoying if you take them off to leave the room momentarily while on a PC and then putting them back on, and often having to manually connect them. This would be a much bigger problem for me if I didn’t already use MacBooks and and iPhone regularly, if I was an android user I might consider steering clear

The Apple AirPods Max have a genuinely phenomenal listening experience that has seamless sound quality and has even better noise cancelation compared to the airpods pro that I have. The sound quality is both incredibly rich and detailed, providing balanced bass thats not too over or underwhelming. Combined with the surprisingly comfortable mesh canopy which distributes the weight perfectly for long-term use, i can wear them for hours, i wore them for like 8 hours before and still no issues, and the seamless integration with my other Apple devices is also great, its very quick and efficient! These headphones are an exceptional investment and in my opinion, best choice for high-fidelity audio.

Love them I wear them to workout I got silicone covers for the ear part so they don’t get sweaty and they stay on while I working out. I love the noise cancellation when it is on and you put the volume up it’s pretty loud. Love the look. They are a little heavy but I am use to it now. Pricey but worth it.

Great headphones worth buy very solid audio and also great looking

First, I am 69 years old. I narrowed down my headphone purchase to the AirPods Max or the Sony WH-1000XM5. I headed to the store to compare them. I immediately liked how the AirPods felt on my head; cushiony, secure, with wide, comfortable headband that felt undetectable. The Sony XM5 felt too plasticy. The ear pads were too close on my ears. The headband was narrow and bothered my head. I decided on the AirPods which had to be ordered as no blue in stock. I paired them with my iPhone and LG OLED TV. I always have them on because I can understand better with them (think hearing aid). Always use them when I vacuum. Great noise cancellation, almost perfect. Love the music. The case is fine. I charge them when they get low. Be careful when flattening the ear pads as they bang together when putting in and out of case.

Literally brand new when I bought it, sound quality is amazing and feels like you have pillows on your ears, after having them for a year, they are still amazing and I would recommend to buy these ones here instead of buying new ones to save a little bit of money!!

Hi, I’m an average 9 to 5 consumer who likes apple as much as the next guy. I had a tax return to spend and a noggin full of ideas. I was on thin ice with the AirPods Max and it seemed like everyone else was too. To get to the point these headphones are amazing if you get a chance to test them in store please do and you will understand what makes them so great. The noise canceling alone was enough to make me buy them. If you are concerned about the weight it’s really now bad at all. Unless your neck is made of like sand or something. Back to the point if you find these below $500 buy them up as quick as you can.

I have owned Bose QC3, 700, Sennheiser PXC550, Sony XM3 and I am glad I gave AirpodsMax a shot. It (to my ears) are the best of the lot when it comes to wireless headphones. Back in the days, when anybody tried on BOSE QC3, they used to go "wow". After that, things have been "similar" for the most part. Sony XM3s was the next "wows". But this - takes it to a different level. The whole experience - build quality, ease of use, comfort, noise cancellation, transparency mode - is simply awesome. yes 550$ is steep. I had BBuy credits accumulated and I just used it all for this and I have no regrets. I will plan to purchase different color ear cushions once they are available for purchase. The magnetic hold for the ear Cushions are really cool as those are what get spoilt first over time. Extremely easy to remove and put back. The ear cups (not just cushions), also detach with a SIM card ejection tool if someone really wants to do that. I have had these on for many hours and no issues. It seamlessly connects to my apple devices and switches from one to another seamlessly. The Audio quality is astounding. Every single detail is crystal clear and the sound feels "wider" when compared to other headphones. No doubt these are expensive, but I'd rather purchase one exceptional then two mediocres . I absolutely LOVE these headphones, they’re by far the best overear headphones you can buy-especially if you own/use them with an Apple device. They’re absolutely top quality headphones that any audiophile would love and appreciate, and they’re also absolutely gorgeous and beautifully designed, as all Apple products are. I love the range of colors available as well. One of the biggest, most stand out features of these aside from the excellent sound quality is their exceptional noise cancellation. These have THE best noise cancellation of any headphone on the market, regardless of price. No matter how loud and busy the world around you is, once you turn on noise canceling, it completely shuts the world out and lets you enjoy perfect silence or allows you to listen to your music or watch videos/movies without any background noise affecting and disturbing you. I also like the controls on the headphones themselves, as it’s very simple and intuitive. There’s a dedicated button just for the noise canceling and transparency modes as well as a small dial similar to what’s on Apple Watches that controls volume as well as play/pause, skip/next track and previous track, and also allows you to summon Siri as well as answer or decline and end calls (you also can do all call and text functions by voice, as well as Siri reading out incoming texts to you) these headphones also work with Apples spatial audio and head tracking, which can be turned on/off any time, but it unfortunately is a feature only available when used with an Apple device, and one other cool feature only available with Apple devices is the Find My feature, which allows you to be able to always see where your headphones are on a map in the event you lose them, so it helps make sure you’re never going to lose these and always be able to find them, which is an awesome feature. The final Apple exclusive feature is the way that it connects to your device; you just place your device near the headphones and it automatically pops up on there and connects, making it extremely simple, easy, and fast. It also never ever loses its connection ever, regardless of how long you use them. But it’s just as simple and easy to connect to non Apple devices as any other Bluetooth headphone; you just turn on Bluetooth and hold down a button on the headphones to put it in pairing mode and then connect it to your device and its paired. The battery life on these are excellent as well, lasting for up to ~25 hours on a full charge when using full noise cancellation and near full volume. They’re also very comfortable to wear, with nice soft earcups made from comfy memory foam material and an extra soft headband with thin mesh material inside it to allow full airflow and prevents any sort of sweating like a leather headband would. Best Buy also offers 3 month trials of Apple Music/TV/News whenever you buy these, which is an awesome added bonus. They also have the cheapest price on these and often times will have them on sale for even cheaper-so if you see them and they’re on sale I highly suggest buying them before that sale ends! But in the unlikely event you find these for cheaper at another store or website, Best Buy will price match them-even if you’ve already bought them and then later notice they’re cheaper somewhere else, which is what I did when I bought these. I noticed a week later they were $40 cheaper on Amazon and I provided the proof to a team member on an online chat and they immediately adjusted my price for these to match that sale price. It was really cool how they did that for me and made my overall experience with buying these even better than it already was.
