I like them my dad brought me them for Christmas. I could have them on the lowest volume with the noise cancellation and I can barley hear anything. while with the transparency mode, it feels like I don’t even have the headphones on because it is an very clear sound of the real world. And the music bass is so good, it feels like Im actually next to the artists that I am listening too. One thing though is that definitely 500$ isn’t really a good price for them. I think they should lower it down. But I love them! Got them in pink (Made this review on my dads Best Buy)

The last ear phones I will have!!! The sound quality is superb!!! Comfortable ear pads that is excellent at noise reduction and well constructed with easy connectivity. These headphones are worth the price if you are an audiophile and want luxury that is easy to use.

I purchased a pair of Open-Box Excellent Condition AirPods Max, and overall, I'm really pleased with my experience! The sound quality is outstanding—crystal clear audio with deep bass that really enhances my music and podcasts. The noise cancellation feature is a excellent, making it easy to focus in noisy environments. I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that I noticed a few minor scratches on the ear cups, which were to be expected for a used product. Additionally, while the battery life is generally impressive, I’ve found it drains a bit quicker than I anticipated since it doesn't have the ability to turn off. That said, the comfort is fantastic, and they fit snugly for extended sessions. If you're looking for premium sound quality and can find a good deal on a used pair, I highly recommend the AirPods Max!

I love these. I like that you can adjust the volume from the headphones instead of having to adjust it from your device. I also love the silent feature. The design is so pretty. I love the green color. The only thing I would say that can be improved is the sound. The sound still is pretty good, but it's not the best I've had in comparison.

The AirPods Max deliver an exceptional audio experience with rich sound quality and impressive noise cancellation. The build is premium, and the comfort is top-notch for long listening sessions. The spatial audio feature adds a great dimension to movies and music. While the price is on the higher side, the performance justifies the investment if you're looking for high-end headphones. The only downside is the lack of a 3.5mm jack for wired connections, but overall, they are a solid choice for audiophiles and everyday users alike.

AMAZINGGGG. I love to listen to music and these headphones just expanded my music experience even more. Even just for noise cancellation they are so perfect. I absolutely love them. Buy them. People say they are uncomfortable and stuff but I don’t feel that.

Before saying anything in this review, I want to say up front, I would recommend these headphones, but only if you are aware of all the compromises and issues that they entail. If you are aware and careful, then they should be excellent headphones for a while. This pair I bought was actually a replacement for a previous pair I bought a couple months after the AirPods Max were released. That initial pair broke because of what I know understand to be an issue with the ribbon cable breaking from the cups turning too much. The problem is the cups are next to impossible not to turn if you use the included smart case and they only go into ultra low power mode in the smart case. Some other nitpicks are another well known issue - the condensation issue. Because the AirPods Max use metal for their ear cups without any ventilation, the ear cups will build up condensation after any listening sessions beyond 2-3 hours (depending on the temperature outside and if you are being active). These headphones are not meant to be used to workout, despite me visually seeing many people trying. They are not water resistant and will eventually die. Despite ALL this, they are actually excellent headphones. The noise cancellation is fantastic and the transparency mode is equally as fantastic. The sound quality is amazing. It has some nice punch to the low end without being overbearing. Apple's adaptive eq does a great job at keeping consistent sounds at different volumes. One unexpected area where the AirPods Max are incredible is when using with an Apple device to watch movies or tv shows - especially if the show/movie supports Dolby Atmos. When I use my AirPods Max on my Apple TV, the spatial dolby atmos is incredible and feels shockingly close to being in an actual theater - all while keeping the sound to myself and not bothering my neighbors late at night. The battery life is surprisingly good considering they never actually turn off and only utilize sleep modes to power save. The comfort is fairly solid too. Despite the weight, they actually have a nice comfort on your head with the way they are designed. The headband with the steel to adjust the length feels premium and durable. The headband maintained comfort even after using mine for around 4 years. The earcups are easy to pop off and replace if you have any issues or just to dust/clean off. I need to clarify I essentially use my AirPods Max mostly with Apple devices in wireless mode. I do use it with my PC or my PS5 for gaming, but I use the wired mode with the aux to lightning adapter. While it's functional, Apple needs to create a significantly better version of this cable. If you are seriously using it for any type of music production or gaming, you want it to be wired for ultra low latency. If you just use the adapter cable, it's comically short and thin. While mine hasn't broken, it is very short. My only solution has been to get an aux extension cable to pair with it, but it does slightly affect the sound quality. It shouldn't be necessary to create these solutions. To break it all down, these are incredible headphones if you are an Apple user. They sound amazing, have incredible noise cancellation/transparency modes, and fantastic Dolby Atmos/Spatial Audio support for watching movies/tv. That being said, anyone purchasing these who intends to have these work for any reasonable time needs to know - If you use these frequently with the smartcase, it will possibly break the ribbon cable connecting the earcups - this happened to the pair I bought and has happened to other individuals online with these headphones. I recommend a charging stand that avoids any earcup turning or a regular stand (this will drain battery slightly quicker) - No working out with these headphones - If you feel the headphones getting sweaty, take them off and wipe the condensation out with a dry towel of some sort. - They are a bit heavy, no getting around that - The aux adapter cable is not included and is comically short - Built with premium materials, but a flawed design that needs to be treated with care and understood where the product fails.

I recently purchased the Apple AirPods Max, and I must say, they have exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I unboxed these premium headphones, I was captivated by their sleek and elegant design. The attention to detail is remarkable, and the build quality is top-notch, as expected from Apple. The sound quality delivered by the AirPods Max is simply phenomenal. The audio is crisp, clear, and rich in detail, immersing me in my favorite music, movies, and podcasts like never before. The dynamic range and depth of the soundstage are truly impressive. Whether I'm listening to classical music with delicate instrumentals or enjoying bass-heavy tracks, these headphones handle it all with finesose.

Snatched these bad boys up before Christmas on sale $170.00 off. I also have the AirPods Pro 2, but even without all the features of the smaller AirPods Pro 2 which is great, the AirPods Max kinda blows away the Pros when it comes to Sound, Highs, Lows, Mid’s, Bass, and Noise cancellation. The gesture controls are simplified on these headphones. Only one complaint kinda. I, wanted the Blue color headphones, but I waited too long to pull the trigger on these. However, I equally enjoy the Silver headphones, and now I have no regrets. Is it worth it at $549.00 nope not for me, but if you have the money maybe. You’ll enjoy these much better if you can find these on sale over the USB-C headphones. I, have an old Apple lightning to 3.5 jack which works with these headphones. I, don’t think that Apple has made a USB-C to 3.5 cable as yet, but there is a cable for the lightning version of these headphones. Remember I have the old jack that came with the iPhone 8. I bought mines separately, and Apple even claims on their website that it works with the AirPods Max. $549.00 vs. $379.00, and now I can only find the Lightning version of these headphones for $399.99 still worth it. I really recommend these headphones which are premium built to anyone who can afford them especially on sale. These also auto connect with anything Apple as soon as I start listening from the next device, awesome!

First off, i must say that i’m coming from the bose qc45’s. An already great pair of headphones that I use for the gym. They had good noise cancelling,comfort, and sound. That being said these COMPLETELY blow those out of the park. The noise cancelling difference is NIGHT AND DAY. Spatial audio works really well. The sound quality is so much more rich. They feel higher quality also. The integration with apple devices is definetly a plus as well. The bose would auto connect but the apple ecosystem is just so much more seamless. I will say tho, if you are on android, get the bose. Becuasw your getting the same offering on both ends. But apple? A good old pair of airpods will do the job just nicely. 2 small things though, they are Substantially heavier than the bose but not with dealbreaking weight. I go to the gym 6x a week and do a range of exercises including cardio and they stayed snug most of the time. Unless you tilt your head back 90 degrees they probably wont move much. And also the inability to turn them off is kind lf annoying, but my battery never dies so i guess its alright. All in all good headphones

Best wireless over ear headphones available I absolutely LOVE these headphones, they’re by far the best overear headphones you can buy-especially if you own/use them with an Apple device. They’re absolutely top quality headphones that any audiophile would love and appreciate, and they’re also absolutely gorgeous and beautifully designed, as all Apple products are. I love the range of colors available as well. One of the biggest, most stand out features of these aside from the excellent sound quality is their exceptional noise cancellation. These have THE best noise cancellation of any headphone on the market, regardless of price. No matter how loud and busy the world around you is, once you turn on noise canceling, it completely shuts the world out and lets you enjoy perfect silence or allows you to listen to your music or watch videos/movies without any background noise affecting and disturbing you. I also like the controls on the headphones themselves, as it’s very simple and intuitive. There’s a dedicated button just for the noise canceling and transparency modes as well as a small dial similar to what’s on Apple Watches that controls volume as well as play/pause, skip/next track and previous track, and also allows you to summon Siri as well as answer or decline and end calls (you also can do all call and text functions by voice, as well as Siri reading out incoming texts to you) these headphones also work with Apples spatial audio and head tracking, which can be turned on/off any time, but it unfortunately is a feature only available when used with an Apple device, and one other cool feature only available with Apple devices is the Find My feature, which allows you to be able to always see where your headphones are on a map in the event you lose them, so it helps make sure you’re never going to lose these and always be able to find them, which is an awesome feature. The final Apple exclusive feature is the way that it connects to your device; you just place your device near the headphones and it automatically pops up on there and connects, making it extremely simple, easy, and fast. It also never ever loses its connection ever, regardless of how long you use them. But it’s just as simple and easy to connect to non Apple devices as any other Bluetooth headphone; you just turn on Bluetooth and hold down a button on the headphones to put it in pairing mode and then connect it to your device and its paired. The battery life on these are excellent as well, lasting for up to ~25 hours on a full charge when using full noise cancellation and near full volume. They’re also very comfortable to wear, with nice soft earcups made from comfy memory foam material and an extra soft headband with thin mesh material inside it to allow full airflow and prevents any sort of sweating like a leather headband would. Best Buy also offers 3 month trials of Apple Music/TV/News whenever you buy these, which is an awesome added bonus. They also have the cheapest price on these and often times will have them on sale for even cheaper-so if you see them and they’re on sale I highly suggest buying them before that sale ends! But in the unlikely event you find these for cheaper at another store or website, Best Buy will price match them-even if you’ve already bought them and then later notice they’re cheaper somewhere else, which is what I did when I bought these.

The sound and build quality is top notch! It blows beats by Dre out of the water. I think apple is trying to go after the audiophiles with their first attempt at luxury headphones. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 out of 5 stars is because it’s about $150.00 overpriced. The headphones are advertised as $550.00 dollars, but with tax I paid $601.00. Their are better headphones at this price point. Everyone compares Sonys XM0004, but it’s not a fair comparison. You can find the Sonys for $350.00 or less. Apple’s true competitors are the $500 dollars or more price point. No headphone maker can compete with AirPod Max’s craftsmanship. However, I’ve heard better sound from headphones at the $1000 price point. Also, the carrying purse for the cans is a horrible idea. Also, these headphones cannot be used for working out at the gym or going for a run. The sweat will damage the ear cups and flop around on your head. It’s strictly for comfort listening!

So, I’ve got an interesting story first about the service, then about the product. I had a pair of Sony WH1000XM4’s I purchased a year ago and essentially after using them I realized they weren’t for me, they actually hurt my ears, and the noise cancellation made me nauseous, so essentially I forgot about them (don’t judge me lol). A year later I went to the best buy on 82nd in Portland, OR, and I tell them this, the product was essentially brand new, had the og box and had everything in it, let me say I did not expect to get any money back for these and thought since I’m nearby why don’t I give it a shot … they returned the entire product for me and let me pay the difference for a pair of Airpods Max’s, essentially all I had to pay for these were $132, absolutely fantastic, and I wanna thank Noah, Arianna & Johny for helping me & doing this for me, and this will be one of the many reasons I’ll be shopping at best buy for a long time. Now the product, ended up getting the Black Airpods Max’s, these are absolutely fantastic, ESPECIALLY the noise cancellation, like I said previously the Sonys made me sick, didn’t feel good on my ears, and actually gave me a headache & nausea but these? PERFECT, I’ve been on a 6-hour flight with these on and let me tell you when you turn that noise cancellation on, you hear nothing but what you want hear, example you watch a movie? You’re gonna hear everyone’s voices clearly and everything else around you is non-existent, and they don’t make me nauseous or give me a headache!!! I’d say arguably these are one of the best noise cancelling headphones on the market currently, the battery life is also great, I had these on for a total of 8 hours including my plane ride and didn’t have to charge them once, highly recommend for those looking for longer battery life headphones and especially ones for longer flights, the headphones are extremely comfortable as well, I had earrings on and put these on over them and my ears didn’t feel cramped and were very cushioned, and I love how you can remove them and buy newer ones, now these are my ears that find them comfortable, I’d recommend trying them on in store if your skeptical. Bluetooth is also fantastic whenever your phone is nearby instantly finds the max’s and connects them. There’s a few downsides I’ve found with these headphones 1) the sound quality and base, it’s not the best imo, but everything else makes up for it, so it’s alright with me, 2) essentially these will never turn off or don’t have an off button you put them in the case and goes on sleep mode and essentially that’s turning it off lol, this doesn’t bother me but it might bother some, essentially keep your charger close by and charge it every night, you’ll be fine, 3) the last thing is these are indeed on the heavier side, they didn’t give me headaches however … I’ve seen reviews of people who have the opposite reaction, honestly, testing them out in store and using them for at least half a hour will probably let you know if the weight is going to be an issue, or buy them, keep the box and accessories and return them brand new after a week of using and you can get your money back. Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase, and I don’t plan on returning these ever lol, thank you so much to everyone at the 82nd and Portland, OR store for helping me out! I’ll be back when I need more electronics!

It’s amazing, the color is beautiful and so is the sound quality. It completely encases your ears and the noise canceling doesn’t leave this white noise. I love them !

I have been meaning to grab these since they’ve come out but I was hesitant due to the price. Welp I caved this year and bought myself an early Xmas gift and it was def worth the wait. I am someone big on aesthetic so to say the least they are so cute and fashionable and give that sort of 70s-60s aesthetic that I love!!! Alright sound quality now …. Oufff off the charts the noise cancellation is scaryyy (in a good way) and I use it mostly when I am studying to tune everything out or if I’m eating and watching a show on my phone. The bass is great as well, and not like other headphones that literally vibrate for the bass IYKYK. The only downside is that I doesn’t have a case but the charging case that is not really protective, however I’ve placed them in the charging case in my book bag several times and there are no scratches or scuffs on them . Also you can buy a protective case from Amazon or Temu for the low low. Last but not least I love the fact the ear covers are magnetic/ detachable which is great when cleaning them. Just get them!!!

AirPods max are definitely going to take a chunk out of your wallet, and overall it’s worth it. I’ll give a score out of 10 for each category. Sound Quality-8 Noise Cancelation-10 Transparency mode-9 Bass-10 Build Quality-10 Appearance-7 Case-3 Overall-8.5 These headphones are overalls worth it IF you are extremely invested in the Apple Ecosystem as they will work flawlessly with any Apple Product. They excel in the mids and definitely don’t struggle at all with extreme high and low pitches. These will change the way you listen to music but you need to take some time and consider if they are right for you.

Great sound quality overall. Worth the money, use them daily for music, phone calls, etc. They are a bit heavy but if you are fine with that then you will love them. Amazing color and quality, physically and quality wise.

All previous over the head/ear headphones were too big for my head as well as uncomfortable because they pushed the glasses into my head and put pressure all over my head which made my mixed headaches worse. I was in the market to replace 2 sets of AirPod Pros gen 1 as my work headphones and thought I would try these since the battery life is 20 hours. Leave it to Apple to make amazing over the ear headphones that work perfect for petite heads as well as people who wear glasses. I have worn them for a week’s worth of meetings. They were comfortable and the battery still had 20%. A bonus is I got an open box pair for $380!!!
