Customer Ratings & Reviews

The AirPods Pro Max are an exceptional upgrade in the world of wireless headphones, and I’m beyond impressed with their performance. The sound quality is unparalleled—rich, clear, and immersive across all genres of music, podcasts, and movies. The bass is deep and punchy without overwhelming the mids and highs, making for a balanced listening experience. The spatial audio feature is a game-changer, creating a surround sound effect that makes everything feel more dynamic and lifelike. One of the standout features is the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). It’s incredibly effective at blocking out ambient noise, whether I’m on a plane, in a crowded coffee shop, or just in a noisy environment. The transparency mode is equally impressive, allowing you to hear your surroundings clearly when needed without taking off the headphones. The build quality is premium, with a sleek, modern design that’s both sturdy and comfortable. The memory foam ear cups provide a secure fit, and I can wear them for hours without discomfort. The battery life is solid, offering up to 20 hours of listening time with ANC on, which is perfect for long trips or extended listening sessions. The integration with Apple devices is seamless, and the H1 chip ensures quick connectivity and smooth switching between devices. The controls on the ear cup are intuitive, with simple touch gestures for volume, playback, and calls. The Apple AirPods Max are nothing short of a revelation in the world of audio. As an avid music lover, I've tried my fair share of headphones, and these have set an entirely new standard. First and foremost, the sound quality is simply exceptional. The clarity, depth, and richness of the audio is unparalleled. Every note and nuance comes through with precision, whether I'm listening to classical symphonies or bass-heavy beats. It's an immersive experience that makes me rediscover my favorite tracks all over again. The Active Noise Cancellation is on another level. It effortlessly drowns out the hustle and bustle of the outside world, allowing me to get lost in my music. It's a game-changer for long flights and busy commutes. Comfort is key, and the AirPods Max excels in this department. The memory foam ear cups provide a plush, custom fit that's comfortable even during extended listening sessions. Plus, the stainless steel frame is both durable and stylish. The transparency mode is a stroke of genius. With a quick switch, I can seamlessly transition from total immersion to being aware of my surroundings. It's incredibly handy for staying connected in busy environments. The battery life is impressive, giving me hours of uninterrupted playback. The Smart Case not only keeps the AirPods Max safe but also puts them in an ultra-low-power state to conserve battery when not in use. The integration with the Apple ecosystem is seamless. Setting up and switching between devices is a breeze, and the spatial audio feature adds a new dimension to movies and TV shows. While the price point may be on the higher side, the AirPods Max are a testament to Apple's commitment to delivering a premium audio experience. They've raised the bar for what headphones can achieve, and I can confidently say they're worth every penny. In summary, the Apple AirPods Max are a must-have for anyone who values top-tier audio quality, comfort, and cutting-edge technology. They've become an indispensable part of my daily life, and I can't imagine going back to anything else. These headphones are a true masterpiece!

I recently got the AirPods Max in Sky Blue and am impressed by their premium design, exceptional comfort, and superior sound quality. The Sky Blue color is sophisticated, and the headphones' build screams luxury with comfort to match. Sound-wise, they deliver crisp, immersive audio with impressive noise cancellation and transparency mode. Pairing is seamless with Apple devices, and features like spatial audio enhance the listening experience. Despite the steep price and the need for an adapter for wired listening, the AirPods Max stand out for their up to 20-hour battery life and stylish, albeit minimal, Smart Case. In summary, if you value high-quality audio and stylish design and are willing to invest in a premium product, the AirPods Max in Sky Blue are a fantastic choice.

The AirPods Max deliver one of the best audio experiences I’ve ever had in a pair of headphones. The sound quality is crystal clear, with rich bass, detailed mids, and clean highs that make everything from music to podcasts sound incredible. The noise cancellation is top-tier, blocking out distractions and letting me focus completely on what I’m listening to. The Transparency Mode is also surprisingly natural—it feels like I’m not even wearing headphones when I turn it on. Comfort-wise, they are heavier than other headphones, but the mesh headband and memory foam ear cups make them feel very comfortable even during long listening sessions. The build quality feels premium and solid, not like cheaper plastic headphones. I also love the sleek silver design—it really stands out. The controls with the Digital Crown are intuitive, and the quick switching between Apple devices is seamless. The only downside is the case, which doesn’t feel very protective, and the price is definitely high compared to other options. But honestly, the performance and quality make them worth it if you’re looking for luxury headphones that deliver. Overall, I would highly recommend the AirPods Max to anyone who values premium sound, build quality, and the Apple ecosystem experience.

Best wireless over ear headphones available I absolutely LOVE these headphones, they’re by far the best overear headphones you can buy-especially if you own/use them with an Apple device. They’re absolutely top quality headphones that any audiophile would love and appreciate, and they’re also absolutely gorgeous and beautifully designed, as all Apple products are. I love the range of colors available as well. One of the biggest, most stand out features of these aside from the excellent sound quality is their exceptional noise cancellation. These have THE best noise cancellation of any headphone on the market, regardless of price. No matter how loud and busy the world around you is, once you turn on noise canceling, it completely shuts the world out and lets you enjoy perfect silence or allows you to listen to your music or watch videos/movies without any background noise affecting and disturbing you. I also like the controls on the headphones themselves, as it’s very simple and intuitive. There’s a dedicated button just for the noise canceling and transparency modes as well as a small dial similar to what’s on Apple Watches that controls volume as well as play/pause, skip/next track and previous track, and also allows you to summon Siri as well as answer or decline and end calls (you also can do all call and text functions by voice, as well as Siri reading out incoming texts to you) these headphones also work with Apples spatial audio and head tracking, which can be turned on/off any time, but it unfortunately is a feature only available when used with an Apple device, and one other cool feature only available with Apple devices is the Find My feature, which allows you to be able to always see where your headphones are on a map in the event you lose them, so it helps make sure you’re never going to lose these and always be able to find them, which is an awesome feature. The final Apple exclusive feature is the way that it connects to your device; you just place your device near the headphones and it automatically pops up on there and connects, making it extremely simple, easy, and fast. It also never ever loses its connection ever, regardless of how long you use them. But it’s just as simple and easy to connect to non Apple devices as any other Bluetooth headphone; you just turn on Bluetooth and hold down a button on the headphones to put it in pairing mode and then connect it to your device and its paired. The battery life on these are excellent as well, lasting for up to ~25 hours on a full charge when using full noise cancellation and near full volume. They’re also very comfortable to wear, with nice soft earcups made from comfy memory foam material and an extra soft headband with thin mesh material inside it to allow full airflow and prevents any sort of sweating like a leather headband would. Best Buy also offers 3 month trials of Apple Music/TV/News whenever you buy these, which is an awesome added bonus. They also have the cheapest price on these and often times will have them on sale for even cheaper-so if you see them and they’re on sale I highly suggest buying them before that sale ends! But in the unlikely event you find these for cheaper at another store or website, Best Buy will price match them-even if you’ve already bought them and then later notice they’re cheaper somewhere else, which is what I did when I bought these. I noticed a week later they were $40 cheaper on Amazon and I provided the proof to a team member on an online chat and they immediately adjusted my price for these to match that sale price. It was really cool how they did that for me and made my overall experience with buying these even better than it already was

I recently purchased the Apple AirPods Max, and they have exceeded all my expectations. The sound quality is truly remarkable, with a rich, detailed, and immersive audio experience that makes listening to music, watching movies, and even taking calls a pleasure. The spatial audio feature is a game-changer, providing a surround sound-like experience that adapts to head movement. The design and build quality are top-notch, as expected from Apple. The headphones are both stylish and comfortable, with memory foam ear cushions that provide a perfect seal and great comfort for long listening sessions. The stainless steel and aluminum construction feels premium and durable. Noise cancellation is outstanding, effectively blocking out external noise, and the transparency mode is incredibly natural, allowing me to stay aware of my surroundings when needed. The seamless integration with the Apple ecosystem makes pairing and switching between devices effortless. Battery life is impressive, offering up to 20 hours of listening time with active noise cancellation and spatial audio enabled. The included Smart Case is a nice touch, though I wish it provided a bit more protection. Overall, the AirPods Max are a fantastic investment for anyone seeking top-tier sound quality, comfort, and seamless Apple ecosystem integration. Highly recommended!

Incredible Sound Quality and Premium Build I recently upgraded to the AirPods Max, and they have exceeded all my expectations. The sound quality is simply phenomenal. The bass is deep and rich, while the mids and highs are incredibly clear and balanced. Listening to music, podcasts, and even watching movies feels immersive, with a level of detail I've never experienced from any other headphones. The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is exceptional. Whether I'm commuting or just sitting in a noisy environment, it effectively blocks out distractions, creating a peaceful listening experience. The Transparency mode is equally impressive, allowing me to stay aware of my surroundings when I need to, without sacrificing sound quality. Comfort is another standout feature. The memory foam ear cups and breathable knit mesh canopy make wearing them for extended periods a breeze. I’ve worn them for hours without any discomfort or pressure, which is rare for over-ear headphones. The build quality is premium, and they feel solid and well-crafted in the hand. The connection with my devices is seamless, especially with Apple products. Switching between my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook is instant, and the integration with Siri is a nice touch for hands-free control. My only minor gripe is the weight—they're a bit heavier than some other headphones, but this is a small trade-off for the superior sound and comfort they offer. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the AirPods Max. They’re a perfect blend of style, performance, and technology, making them well worth the investment for anyone looking for high-quality wireless headphones.

The Apple AirPods Max truly redefine the listening experience, effortlessly blending cutting-edge technology with unparalleled comfort. The noise-canceling feature isn’t just exceptional; it’s like having a personal sound sanctuary. It’s as if the world outside vanishes the moment you put them on, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in your favorite music or podcasts without any external distractions. Speaking of comfort, the design is a masterpiece in itself. The memory foam ear cushions delicately mold to your ears, ensuring a snug yet gentle fit that you can wear for hours without any discomfort. The stainless steel frame not only adds a touch of elegance but also provides a lightweight and sturdy feel, making these headphones as durable as they are stylish. And let’s talk about style—these headphones are a fashion statement. The sleek, minimalist design combined with a range of vibrant color options allows you to express your personality while enjoying superior sound quality. Whether you’re at home, commuting, or out and about, the AirPods Max elevate your entire look while delivering an audio experience that’s nothing short of extraordinary. Additionally, the battery life exceeds expectations, providing an impressive duration of uninterrupted music playback. The intuitive controls seamlessly integrated into the ear cups make adjusting volume, skipping tracks, or answering calls effortlessly convenient. Plus, the spatial audio technology creates an immersive, theater-like experience, enveloping you in a 3D audio environment that’s hard to match. In conclusion, the Apple AirPods Max aren’t just headphones; they’re a harmonious blend of innovation, style, and comfort, setting a new standard for what exceptional audio quality and design should be. Whether you’re an audiophile, a fashion enthusiast, or simply someone who⬤

All the expectation surrounding the quality of these headphones was pleasantly met. If you are looking for clear and balanced sound, these fit the bill. They feel solid in your hands (and heavy on the head) but comfortable to wear (at least for me) for a few hours. Noise cancellation is better than my Sony XM4. Digital crown dial and secondary button does the trick to play, pause, and toggle ANC (Sony did spoil me with the tapping of headset to play/pause but it's fine) Spatial audio is mind blowing and the convenience to easily connect to any Apple device - including the Apple TV is how you're rewarded for being a part of their ecosystem. Sony's way to pair only two devices simultaneously comes at a cost of lower bitrate of music. And if paired with an iPhone, when people call me, they tell me I sound great with little background noise. It is a bit of a head scratcher that they don't support the higher quality bitrate of music that Apple Music has in their library. Also, charging by lightning cable instead of USB-C is also a selfish decision on their part but the battery life is great. If you have a really large head, make a hard pass onto something else. If you want skull crushing bass response, go elsewhere. The bra/purse/case to allow it to go into very low power mode is not very attractive in my opinion. Thankfully there are 3rd party cases that now do the same thing and it protects it better when thrown in the backpack for travel. I got these headphone at a great price due to price matching (Amazon), BB rewards cash back, and a gift certificate I got for my b-day. Took the price way down below $300 (and it came included with 2 years of AppleCare). Considering next gen APM should be announced this year, the price of this model should go down and make it even more suitable for purchase. I've used the APM for about a month.

These headphones are amazing. I have tried dozens of headphones over the year and none compare to the Airpods Max. There is a big reason that these headphones cost $500+. I had tested multiple beats, sony, and Bose prior to buying these and the difference is like night and day. I highly recommend anyone who is not afraid to spend a little extra to purchase these headphones from Best Buy. Purchasing this item was very easy and came very fast for free as compared to other online retailers. The sound quality on these headphones is unmatched, compared to most other headphones on the market. I am really looking forward to similar versions to these headphones. The spatial sound quality is unmatched. The 20 hour battery life of these headphones is more than enough and I hardly ever worry about them being drained or falling too low in power. The connectivity of these headphones is superb. They automatically connect to the last connected device as soon as you turn the device on, this makes things very convenient. I also wanted to add that you have a great feeling when you put them over your ears as your ears just plop right into the muffs. At the end of the day, with all of the positives of this headset, it is definitely worth the price when comparing them to other brands. I highly recommend anyone else to purchase them if you are thinking about it and purchase them from Best Buy as they make purchasing speedy and convenient for everyone.

The Apple AirPods Max deliver a truly premium audio experience, setting a new standard for over-ear headphones. The sound quality is exceptional, offering a rich and detailed audio profile across a wide range of genres. The active noise cancellation is effective, immersing you in your music or calls while effectively blocking out external disturbances. Design-wise, the AirPods Max exude elegance and sophistication. The build quality is outstanding, featuring a stainless-steel frame and a breathable mesh canopy for added comfort. The ear cushions provide a snug fit, making these headphones suitable for extended wear. One of the standout features is the seamless integration with Apple devices. Pairing is effortless, and users benefit from features like automatic device switching and spatial audio. The latter adds a new dimension to the listening experience, creating a sense of audio space that adapts to head movements. Despite the impressive features, the high price tag may be a hurdle for some consumers. Additionally, the weight of the AirPods Max is on the heavier side compared to other options in the market. While the build quality contributes to this weight, it could be a factor to consider for users who prioritize lightweight headphones for extended use. In conclusion, the Apple AirPods Max offer a premium audio package with cutting-edge features and a luxurious design. If you're deeply ingrained in the Apple ecosystem and prioritize top-notch audio quality, these headphones are a compelling choice, though the investment may give some users pause.

The AirPods Max offer an impressive blend of high-fidelity audio, effective noise cancellation, and premium design. With luxurious materials and a comfortable fit, they provide an immersive listening experience. The sound quality is top-notch, with clear details and deep bass, complemented by excellent active noise cancellation that blocks out ambient noise effectively. The spatial audio feature adds an extra layer of immersion for movies and music. However, their high price point and bulkier design compared to other headphones may not appeal to everyone. Battery life is solid, providing a good amount of listening time on a single charge. Overall, the AirPods Max are a great choice for those prioritizing sound quality and noise cancellation in a luxury package, but they come at a premium price.

These things are awesome. I was undecided on getting these or the Bose NC700. I ended up getting the Bose based on price and other reviews. They were great but I just didn’t feel they tied in well with my Apple devices. The sound was great and the noise cancellation was good. I didn’t feel like the were comfortable on my ears, but that may be just because I have big ears. I also didn’t like the Bose transparency mode. You couldn’t play music and listen to the surroundings. I purchased these just to compare and I was very curious. The first thing is the look and build quality. They are beautiful headphones and they are VERY well built (not all plastic). They were more comfortable around my ears because they have a lot of room and the cushion is sooo much softer. It made it more comfortable especially since I wear glasses. The sound to me is better than the Bose and the noise cancellation is better as well. Transparency mode is exactly what I wanted on the AirPods max. They work very well with all of my devices of course because it’s all in the Apple ecosystem. I do not regret paying a little more for these. The battery lasts a long time as well. Yea the case isn’t the best but I ordered another one for when I take them on the go. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Design and Comfort: The AirPods Max exude luxury with their sleek, modern design and high-quality materials. The stainless steel frame, memory foam ear cushions, and breathable knit mesh canopy provide a comfortable fit, even during extended listening sessions. The headphones feel solid and well-constructed, though their weight might be noticeable for some users after prolonged use. Sound Quality: Sound quality is where the AirPods Max truly shine. The audio performance is exceptional, with a rich, detailed soundstage that enhances every genre of music. The bass is deep and powerful without being overwhelming, the mids are clear and natural, and the highs are crisp and precise. The spatial audio feature with dynamic head tracking creates an immersive listening experience, particularly when watching movies or using compatible apps.

I’ve seen some people say these fall off easily but mine stays right on! I love these headphones, they really cancel out the noise. Not only do they look nice on, the sound quality is great as well. I wear these to the gym and they stay on. I do have to adjust it to a certain angle when I do hip thrust but it still doesn’t budge. The only negative thing I would say is that you can’t turn them off, they stay on in a “sleep” mode so even though the battery life on this is good (last up to 1 week without charging it) if you need to charge it frequently.

I can't say enough good things about the Air Max headphones, especially for travel and use on planes! These headphones are an absolute game-changer for anyone who values peace and quiet amidst the hustle and bustle of travel. First and foremost, the noise cancellation on these headphones is phenomenal. They effectively drown out ambient noise, whether it's the roar of airplane engines, chatter in crowded terminals, or the hum of public transport. This feature alone has transformed my travel experience, allowing me to enjoy my music or podcasts without distraction. The sound quality is equally impressive. The Air Max headphones deliver rich, clear audio with deep bass and crisp highs, making every song or movie soundtrack sound incredible. Whether I'm watching a movie mid-flight or listening to my favorite playlist, the immersive sound quality never fails to impress. Comfort is another standout feature. The ear cushions are plush and provide a snug fit that blocks out even more external noise passively. I've worn them for long-haul flights without any discomfort, thanks to their lightweight design and ergonomic fit. Battery life is excellent too. The headphones easily last through long flights or extended layovers, and the quick charge feature is a lifesaver when I'm short on time between flights. Overall, the Air Max headphones have become my go-to for travel. They combine superior noise cancellation, impressive sound quality, and exceptional comfort in a package that's perfect for frequent flyers or anyone looking to escape into their own world during travel. Highly recommended!

The Apple AirPods Max are absolutely incredible. The sound quality is rich and immersive, with spatial audio making a huge difference. The noise cancellation is among the best I’ve experienced, and the design feels both premium and durable. They’re very comfortable for long listening sessions, although the weight may take getting used to. The integration with Apple devices is seamless. Overall, they’re pricey but worth it if you’re looking for the best audio experience.

I'll just address common complaints. You know the rest. They sound god tier. They connect effortlessly. They have a excellent build. Q - They're what, 600$? They're headphones. Too expensive. A - They're not for you then, you should check out the Sony XM4 over hear headphones. They sound very good and are built pretty nice. These are for people who want something better than XM4s or NC700s. If those headphones are for you, save 200-300$ and get them. Q - They don't sound as good as other audiophile headphones. A - Correct! But good luck using those open back (no noise suppression) headphones in a loud environment, good luck taking them outside of your house (they need an amplifier, not wireless obviously) and again you need an amplifier which can range from 200$ to 2000$. Q - This reviewer said they don't fit that good. A. That honestly might be the case. It's subjective, however. I suggest you find someone who has a pair of these, if you can't, best buy has a return policy for situations like this. I will tell you that 1. they are heavy, but feel very light on my head. I used to have QC35 iis, and XM4s. I can wear these much much longer because of them being more comfortable. 2. They "fit" my head perfectly fine. Q - THE CASE A - I get you, I agree with you. It's pretty garbage. So make like I did and get rid of the bra case. Put it on ebay, sell it to someone, heck give it to your kids. It's garbage, you don't want to use it. I sold mine for 25$, and it sold within an hour of me posting it. (Huh? I thought everyone hated it? Apparently not!) Buy yourself an actual case, I got mine for 18$ on Scamazon. You can get Max cases pretty much anywhere. Q - (more of a complaint about Apple) But they're not repairable A - Well, I challenge you to tell me what wireless bluetooth headphones ARE more repairable than these. In my opinion Apple went above and beyond. They impressed iFixit of all places. The cushions are held on by magnets, of course. I'm sure you knew that. But did you know that the headband is replaceable? I don't recommend you try this if you have a pair already, but you CAN take the cushion off and stick a SIM tray tool into a little hole in the upper top of the inside of the ear cup *(please make sure you know which hole, it might hurt a lot if you have the wrong one)* and gently push in just like a SIM tray and the earcup will completely detatch from the headband. Good luck finding a replacement, but eventually down the line I'm sure there will be some on things like eBay and it's just a headband so if you get one that isn't exactly original, whatever. I will say though that I'm certainly not easy on my Apple things, but my headband still looks perfect. They look fragile, but unless you accidentally take a knife to it, it will be fine. If you can realistically afford them and want them, I cannot recommend them enough. They are fantastic, I have zero regrets whatsoever buying mine for the full MSRP of 550$. (they're now 500$ at time of posting) Enjoy them!

These Apple airpod maxes are the best headphones ever. The noise cancellation is insane. When you switch the mode to noise cancellation you cannot hear anything! The headphone is ridiculously loud. Also they are very comfortable and with a simple design that matches with everything. Also the battery life last HOURSSSS.
