    Not as comfortable as the Pro 1 or Pro 2. The ear tips are more painful, similar to what many others are complaining about on the Apple forums. I’m not sure if it’s due to pressure differences, but as soon as the airplane gains altitude, a high-pitched, constant noise starts, making them almost unbearable to wear. I hate to admit it, but I’ve gone back to using the Pro 2 instead of these.

    After coming from the Gen 1’s that were fantastic, I’ve had several questions with the Gen 3. For microphone issues to and secure placement in the ear with tips. Not sure if the new style tips work as well as the Gen 1 tips. Sound quality is amazing and would still recommend them for an upgrade.

    This airpod pro 2 sounds very good. Transfer seamlessly between several Apple devices that I have. The active sound suppression works well in an airplane, as well as in most noisy environments. What I do not like is short battery life, not getting you the whole way in cross country flights. Thus, the silicone tips cause some ears irritations. Also, they don’t securely stay in small ears, even with little movement. Recommend to buy when on sale.

    For the price the plastic feels very flimsy. In my case sometimes the AirPods don’t connect, or one piece connects and on does. Great at muting and the mic works great too.
