Is it work good for the iPad and iPhone as well? Please let me know. Thanx in advance

Our house is an Apple product place with two Mac desktops, iPhones (5s/4s) and iPad (2nd Gen). This router works very, very well with all of our Apple products and the smart beam technology does an awesome job of maximizing internet signal strength for each Apple product. Our iPhones can pick up the internet signal 20 feet from the house walls in both back and front yards which is a plus. Creating a secure network is easy and very reliable. The Time Machine application is excellent and very easy to install. The only drawback for us was setting up our wireless Cannon printer (if Apple made printers, we'd switch over) and our Sony smart blue ray players was a little tricky. Overall, this is an excellent home use product.

This item is really usefull having many apple products, I recommend it so much.

I use the time capsule for my backups. I'm a full time student and I love the way it keeps my Macbook backed up without me having to even think about it. The down side is it only lasted ten months. I noticed I couldn't connect to it and when I checked it was totally dead. I unplugged it and let it sit for about an hour and plugged it back up. The status light blinked once and it died again. I googled it and found that this is a common problem with the Time Capsule. Most people said theirs lasted from a year to fifteen months, mine died at ten months. At $299 the Time Capsule was an expensive mistake.

Everything about this product, just plain works. Wireless performance is excellent and the hard drive and usb functionality is right on.

Love that I can now hook up my old Laserjet and make it wireless. Great Wifi and works perfectly with time machine.

The WiFi is really great! Amazing range and fast internet speeds...The automatic backups are really nice for storage as well

I am extremely happy with this Time Capsule. Using it as my base station with two Airport Express, three Airplay-capable sound sys tems and numerous mobile devices (plus a Desktop) attached, I see way better throughput on the 5 GHz band than with my prior Airport Extreme. I have no problems constantly reaching 105+ Mbit/s connection speeds with this product. The hard disk is easily mounted and shows fast and reliable transfer speeds. Thumbs up, Apple.

The Apple TimeCapsules are fantastic. Delivering automatic back-up capabilities with a fully functional wi-fi hub is very convenient.

I opened the wallet for this and hope it works out for me. So far setup was easy and I like the new look.

Wish there was a way to give this product half of a star. Despite reading numerous reviews of how "horrible" this device was, I went out and bought it because I like the first hand experience. I have no complaints about the hard drive portion of the drive. As far as it doubling as around, thats an entirely different story. In lamens terms, it sucks. My wifi went from mighty to failing out every 5 seconds. I couldn't even keep the HD quality on my Netflix. I had to go back to my older router. Avoid this product and just get a my cloud.

The TimeMachine feature is extremely useful in households with multiple laptops. Beware though as the wireless feature is sketchy with AT&T home portals. The time control (parental controls) features are invaluable.

Sped up my existing wifi, securely backs up my data. What more could you ask for?

Love it I have had it over a year now and It just works!!!

I purchased the time capsule about an hour ago. It is already doing the initial backup for my iMac, and Macbook Air. It is also the router for this review. Set the router name and password to what I had been using on the old router. The Macs, iPads, iPhones, and PCs (yes there are 2) all reconnected with no problems.

I've had mine since September of 2015 and it was super easy to set up but I've been experiencing nothing but issues. Since September I've had it randomly shut down on me at least 20 times, and even as I'm writing this review it's off. I keep having to go and unplug it and plug it back in so it can reboot. Had I known this was an issue I would have never dropped close to $300 for this piece of C*@p. I've done everything I can to get it resolved but it's still an issue. If anyone has a solution please let me know. Also my router that I rented to use prior to buying this (provided by my internet co) had better range then this unit. I mainly bought it because I love apple products and have had everything at some point in time apple has created. I needed an external hard drive for storage and was looking to get a router as well. This seem to fit the bill. This is the first item I've bought from Apple that I regret purchasing.

Love Airport Time Capsule since it backs up my computer as well as provide great wi-fi connection for all my gadgets!

Bought this to store photos and documents. It was pretty easy to setup and it is small so it doesn't take up your desk space.

Replaced 5 yr old time capsule with this and had internet speed slow considerably. My son reports getting "kicked off" his game system due to slow connection. I have noticed it too, with work computer. The only thing we have changed is the time capsule (which is our router). i have spent hours trying to fix to no avail. I do love the backup system for my mac. works seamlessly
