Apple, in typical fashion, has taken a process that many non-tech savvy people struggle with, setting up a router. When paired with a mac computer, the included airport utility (pre loaded on all apple computers) makes the setup easy as 1-2-3. Many other dual band and ac capable routers sell for a couple hundred dollars. What makes this such a steal is the included 2TB hard drives that makes time machine backups seamless and unnoticeable. No longer is there a need to plug your computer into an external drive. All backups occur in the background while connected to your home network. This is probably my favorite apple purchase, only behind my MacBook Pro and iPhone.

Buying this gadgets from a friend's recommendation. wireless speed and signal surprised me. easy to use and install. Especially you can put movies in the drive to share at home network.

I bought the 2 GB Airport Time Capsule on 09/12/14. It was easy to set up except for the guest network. People can connect but no web pages load. I never sat down to take the time to call tech support and now I am outside the 90 day free support period. Otherwise, it has worked flawlessly and has been much more stable than my previous Linksys wireless N network. Would recommend but take the time to get it set up correctly out of the box.

If you have an Apple computer, this device works seamlessly in backing up your system. As for the wireless router, it is excellent. Easy to set up (including setting up a guest network, to keep people away from sensitive data on your regular network) and run from any kind of computer.

This is best router from Apple (or any other brand, for that matter -- Linksys, I'm looking at you). It is rocking fast, especially if you have a new laptop that has the new 802.11ac technology built in (like in the new macbook air). Improved my reception for my Apple TV, better streaming, better everything. Don't hestitate to replace your old router for this. I have laptops, several desktop computers (including a PC), phones, kindles, iPads hooked up to it and it's really fantastic. Easy backup too! Pretty much plug and play.

Very fast device, easy to install and it is a great combo of having a router and harddrive for backup in one unit. Works great with my new MacBook Air at the new wifi speeds of 80211.ac.

Bought this for my parents who are in their 70's it connected quickly and easily and backed up my moms computer. The wireless internet speed greatly improved as well as the range.

I've setup MANY online routers/wi-fi and storage devices. This product was ridiculously easy to get up and running. Fast too. Love the integration with my MacBook Pro and Air.

My NAS began to fail after many years in service. I bought a Time Capsule so I could auto-backup our photos and other irreplaceable info. Time Machine provides peace of mind while the wireless AC router provides absurd speeds for compatible devices. Easiest router setup, too.

This was easy to set up and works great. Faster than the older time capsule that I replaced. Excellent back ups with the Time Capsule function on my Macs. I highly recommend.

As an Apple only customer and a Mac owner the Apple Time Capsule has been the answer to my backup needs. Not only is it a breeze to set up, the automatic backups alleviate my need to remember to backup each day. Thanks to this product I never worry about losing my data.

Needed a back for my new IMAC. This airport time capsule is a great product. Very powerful wifi router and time capsule back up my Mac anytime I'm on it. The airport pushes a strong signal throughout my home and also allows me to build a guest network with password for friends.

Purchased a Mac Mini and decided to migrate slowly over to Apple hardware. I had read the reviews on this Apple Air-Port Time Capsule with 2Tb of storage and everyone was very pleased with the unit and the ease of installation. I would have to agree with those previous reviewers! My iPad Air connected up to the unit and settings were configured all within a 15-20 minute time frame. Our cell phones now enjoy double their previous Wi-Fi connect speeds as well as our Samsung Notebook. The Air-Port has allowed me to transfer files to it to share with other PC's or Mac devices on our network and serves as a singular backup device.

My wi-fi speed screams; I get faster downloads with Apple than I do with the AT&T Uverse router. Also stronger connection from farther away. In addition to its built in storage I've connected a USB drive to the device which can be accessed from my other Apple computers.

Easily setup....improved signal to noise ratios....greater wifi range...excellent time capsule backup on Mac. Would recommend this as an excellent option for Apple Mac users.

The Airport Time Capsule 2TB provides great wi-fi coverage for my home and fast 802.11ac speed. The real selling point for me was how it works with the Time Machine software on my MacBook Pro to perform automatically scheduled backups to the built in 2TB hard drive.

This product is very easy to use and easy to set up. I had an easy time replacing the old one with the new. The former Time Capsule also lasted long time before needing to be replaced. It also operated as it should with little or no attention from users in the household.

Seems to work very well. The range is very good. No problems so far. I have an apple iphone, computer, apple tv, and an apple ipod. Seems to work well with all.

Requires nearly no home networking experience to setup and includes built in backup.

Great product - so far seems to be working well. Scheduled back-ups are being performed as planned. I have yet to make sure the data is accessible, though, by attempting to restore the computer. If the need arises, then I'll find out if the product truly works.
