Perfect for Mac users. This is my 3rd different brand for external hard drives and the one that has worked the best with my Mac. I can't tell when it's running as it doesn't slow me down and it seems to work more easily with Time Machine.

This was a seemless addition to my Apple products. It was easy to install and I love that I don't have worry about backing up my iMac.

Easy to setup and getting working. I found an online tutorial on YouTube that walked through each step. The sync to the computers was simple and intuitive. This is a backup system and not an external hard drive like some people suggest.

Upgraded from the 2nd generation base station. One of the fastest and consistent wireless connection I ever had. Using the built in 2tb Hard drive as a SAN for my design studio.

So this little contraption is really cool!!! It's a strong router and storage for all of your macs at home. It works really well and so easy to use! I would definitely recommend this to people looking to back up they're stuff at home.

Got this one to replace my 1TB Time Capsule, even though it was still working flawlessly. Set up was very quick and easy, and with a few clicks, everything transferred to the new Capsule and I was up and running in less than 15 minutes!

Love this totally automatic backup for all my important stuff.......easy to find whatever you need. Needed GeekSquad to help me set it up......a little more complicated than I thought but it did it automatically for the Geek Squad.

If you have macs this device is very nice. Backup with time machine is seamless. You won't even know your backing up anymore. I took one star off for the range of the router. It better than my regular verizon router but not as strong a signal as the quantum router. Good enough to cover my house but the real purpose of owning this is the simple backup solution.

The Time Capsule was a snap to setup with the Airport Utility., and I was able to configured the wireless access point in a few minutes. Also, the 2 TB internal hard drive provides plenty of space for wireless TIme Machine backups.

This time machine is great. Backs up without even a second thought, is fast as fast can be, and has a GREAT range. Replaced a couple of routers in my parent's house with this one device. Solved all their problems, backup and internet.

I have a cable modem that outputs via DHCP and is in charge of the NAT(network address translation) with the wireless router part turned off. All I had to do was plug in the network cable to the Apple unit and I answer a few questions and I was up and running in 5 minutes. I checked the speed of my connection on my MacBook Pro and it said 1gbps, this is via wireless A/C. I have had the fastest internet wireless connection I have ever had because of this unit. It is great. Distance is about as good as the high end Asus units. Great overall unit.

I had the old generation time capsule and it seemed that my hard drive had messed up on me. The wifi worked. But the back ups will crash. I bought this new 2tb one and used my old one to extend my wifi network. Love this product.

I love this product! We use a lot at my house with my brother and I on our own video game systems and my mother on Netflix. We never end up getting lag anymore thanks to this. And I also get to back up my laptop data? It's great

I have only one word. Unbelievable. Where can you go back in time, hour by hour, and find anything you did on your Mac. Plus it's wireless

Returning from an extended vacation I found my Linksys router dead. As both my wife and I have MACs I thought I'd try the Apple router. Setup was simple and the range is so improved (vs. the previous device) that I no longer need a range extender. The built in 2TB hard drive, again coupled with the MACs, makes backups a breeze. At first I did not understand how to store other files on the drive but that turned out to be easy, too. The instructions for this were not included in the box.

My older Time Capsule stopped working after 5 years, so I needed to get a new one. This current model was easier to set up than my first Time Capsule and it backs up more frequently than my previous one.

After my 8-year old Apple Time Machine started to fail, I replaced it with a new Time Capsule. I was surprised to see that it was a little tower instead of my old flat one. My iMac connected to it with no problem as did my cell phone, TV, and printer. The wi-fi signal seems a bit stronger. After a couple hours, Time Machine had backed up all my files. There are less expensive wi-fi and back up solutions, but I value things that are easy to set up and last a long time.

The AirPort Time Capsule and small fits on my computer desk out of the way. Only problem is I cant get it an internet connection or DNS Servers so the orange light blinks all the time, I have 2 other time capsules the older models that lay flat and work great. The Apple time capsules are normally a little more then other brands but are well worth it.
