The 2TB hard drive is the smallest capacity you can get on an airport time capsule and is perfect for my needs. I bought my MacBook at the same time and they work perfectly. The wireless back up is extremely helpful and easy.

This updated Time Capsule is a all around well made product. The new look takes up less space on a desktop and in my opinion runs less hot then the previous model. Set up is easy and requires almost no brain power. I have seen some lag in start up when awaken from sleep or accessing data stored on the device. I use it as not only a back-up but also as a external hard drive and I have found that when going into my folders for movies that it takes a second for it to load what is in the folder. The wifi also starts up slow at times on wake up. The duel band makes for lighting fast searches and quick seamless switches. For a router of this quality and a 2tb hard drive the price is fair. All around I would suggest this machine to anyone that is looking to upgrade their router or anyone that has a mac product with a "other" brand router.

This was a great buy. Increased my wifi speed, by far better than any router I have purchased before. haven't had a problem since I purchase. Would recommend anyone who is interested good investment good product by Apple.

Easy to use. Great router. Fast. Installation was a breeze.

This product was recommended to me by the sales associate when I purchased me iMac. It was super easy to install, however, I notice that it needs to be unplugged and replugged in at least once a week when the light starts flashing amber. Once it's replugged in it works great again.

Multiple Macs backup to the same drive, wirelessly. Both the backup(s) and network were easy to set up. Great "bang for the buck"!

The Air-Port Time Capsule was easy to plug into my network and set up. This is a replacement for a Time Capsule that I have been using for a number of years. The design is nice and it works well.

Initially looking to boost my router speed or replace the router, the Best Buy associate, upon learning we were an Apple household, recommended the Airport Time capsule. I love the convenience of the dynamic backup.

This is my 3rd airport router, this has the best range indoor and outdoor. I still have my 1st generation router no issues I purchased two more one for my brother and purchased one with hard drive for easy backup.

When every WiFi device changes over to ac (new iPhones, iPads, etc.), this device will be there to provide the speed. Looks beautiful. Utterly silent. Has never dropped out on me. Was the easiest thing in the world to hook up. I haven't unplugged it or rebooted it since day one, when I brought it home and fired it up, and that was months ago. I had an old HP scanner that it didn't recognize, but as far as upgrades go, I wasn't surprised. And the Time Capsule just sits there in the background, backing everything up.

This is the fourth AirPort Router I have purchased from Apple, and the second Time Capsule. All have performed flawlessly.

Purchased this to update and store our IOS incase of a hard drive failure and it works great in keeping files, pictures, movies all on a separate drive. Would recommend the Airport/Time capsule to Mac users.

The easiest wifi router to set up and the easiest way to back up your mac consistently with out any effort at all.

My wife and I mainly have apple products so we knew it would be a great addition for our family. We have a 2 story house and there's not a dead spot that we've noticed yet. And, the 2tb back-up is a must have!

Apple does it right, the ecosystem "just works", including this Airport Time Capsule. My iPhone and iPad have been begging for a Mac for years. Finally cut the PC cord and went MacBook Air. The auto backup using Time Machine was the primary impetus for going to the Airport. Works just fine and saves time. I no longer need to remember to do PC backups or consume my time to do it. The WiFi setup was a breeze via the MacBook Air and the unit functions perfectly.

Easy to set up and great to organize data. Very fast. Compact in size but with large capacity. Strongly recommend this product.

I've been very satisfied with this purchase. The Airport time capsule is a very good router that maintains a strong, consistent signal. I love the automatic back-up feature and would definitely purchase again.

Very easy to manage this product from my iPhone and works like a dream when backing up my laptop so I know that nothing is ever lost and can use time machine to recover project files.

The Apple Airport Time Capsule is a great and easy to use router so long as you are using Apple products. I bought the device under the impression that you could partition and format to NTFS so that I could back up both Macs and PCs. After purchasing I found out this is not possible and had to utilize a workaround method.

All my Apple products know to attach to the airport without extra steps. My non-Apple products, just put in my password and they connect. This was the easiest WiFi router to setup.
