This is a great little unit. I mounted mine inside a closed IKEA cabinet with adequate ventilation and I still get good signal throughout my house. Very easy to set up and use. It doesn't offer much in the way of management options, but it'll do DMZ, port forwarding, etc. It has one less ethernet port than the model it's replacing, which is a bummer. There are some software things Apple could do to make it really do wonders but even as it is, it's a solid buy.

I love my Apple products it service its purpose as an extra hard drive and router but, we were warned that it doesn't always work with cox Internet. Something with the cox service and that's the service I have.

Replaced an AirPort Extreme and my signal has jumped dramatically and areas that were spotty are now solid

Purchase enabled wider range of router which is why we bought it. We also hope to use it as a backup for multiple devices.

Back up all my items to this drive. I also use it as a wireless connection point so everything isn't running on one router.

I was able to copy my configuration from a previous generation TC. Setup was straightforward. I moved my existing HDD over and continue to mount the drive on my Macs and WinPCs seamlessly. With 802.11n, the wireless performance is fantastic. I also use the device as my default gateway, DNS and DHCP servers within the gigabit wired network. I get smooth streaming to a wired AppleTV and a wireless AppleTV. The automated backup features continue to work well for me. This is a great device!

Love it. Now I back up on the time capsule and it increase my internet speed by 10%. Recommend for anyone wanted the best.

I use this mostly to extend my Wi-Fi throughout the house. Its also a great for dropping important documents and pictures to its external drive. I have multiple devices linked to it (iphones, ipads, and macbook)

Love the convenience of setting up multiple networks and settings. Easily works with Mac laptops. Plenty of storage and strong signal through whole house (3000 sq ft brick ranch). Sleek design is a comforting change from typical routers/hard drives. Only complaint is that it does not easily sink with iPhones and iPads. You have to setup syncs to your computer and then your computer will backup with unit.

The design and performance are excellent. Straightforward Network Setup out of the box. Guest network is nice addition.

Easy setup and use. Worth the money. Allows the whole family to have a common storage area and can be accessed remotely.

Exactly what I needed for great range with wireless memory access. I would deathly recommend it to anyone of my friends

This is a great, hassle free 802.11ac router and Time Machine backup device. My MacBook Pro and iPhone automatically recognized it and the set up and managing is extremely easy using the AirPort Utility app. I can back up my Mac from anywhere in the house providing the computer is plugged into a power source. My only gripe is its single USB two port and the price, but it's consistent performance and ease-of-use have made it worth the extra dough in my opinion.

has great features like back to my mac so you can access your files from anywhere with wifi. also Time Machine backup

We don't use this for our router however the wifi is good for backing up our family of 5 with iPads and iPhones.

Easy to connect and set up. Definitely gives you peace of mind that you will be able to keep your memories safe.

it took me a while to learn how to set it up only because it was way too easy..now that it's up and running it's flawless

this is one awesome wireless router..... just fast connections.. one thing missing is QOS.. otherwise its a best buy

This product was very simple for even the least tetchy person to set up. Works great and connects all our devises.
