This product was very simple for even the least tetchy person to set up. Works great and connects all our devises.

Works well as storage device, but also works great as a wireless router. It has much greater range than my previous router. Unfortunately, you still cannot back-up an iphone directly to this network drive

This is a great unit. Setup was a breeze and the 2 TB hard drive for time machine backups is great for all my macs

I purchased the Time Machine instead of the Airport or AP Extreme as I wanted the added benefit of being able to use Time Capsule auto-magically from my MBP. The initial purchase though was due to the fact my new MBP would not connect/stay connected to my Comcast wifi and would drop after a few minutes. Since installing this device I have had no issues with wifi and even use it with all of my other personal devices, two cell phones, tablet, etc and reserve Comcast crud for brought-home work. The setup is easy enough if you only have a Mac to work with but this device will work with a PC as well, with a bit of labor in installation of 3rd party software and setup, you can even access it via the Win PC as a standard external for use, such as I do with all my movies. Really a great product, if only it did not cost quite so much for the models I might have gone to the largest one but for the same cost I imagine I could have purchased not only a 3+TB external but also a nice wifi router that would have done the same job. Still Apple to Apple, it always works well and just about guaranteed.

If you own a Mac this is a must have. Buy now you will not regret it. Will simplify your life.

easy to install the iMac and the airport time capsule communicate easily. The installation took me 5 minutes.

We put off replacing our old Time Capsule, but should not have had any fear....the setup was so easy. The previous Time Capsule was purchased 9 years ago, was still working fine, but with the advancements over the years we now have a much faster internet usage and no dropped sessions.

Brought this home and, easily set it up in just a matter of minutes. Great product would highly recommend this.

This was worth every penny. Easy to setup and hook up on the existing network. My wifi is much better too.

I have had the air port time capsule installed for a little over a month now. Setup was super easy, but to maximize the features you'll need to be a little tech savvy. I have it hooked directly to an iMac, so that could explain some of the ease. I also have a PC laptop, iPhone, iPad, several TVs, Dish Hopper plus several other devices running on the network without issues. The 2TB drive is configured as a NAS backup for my PC laptop (Windows 8) over WiFi and as a Time Capsule backup for my iMac. I'm sure I could have set up similar services with discrete components and probably have saved a little coin, this was simple and easy; overall I'm happy with my purchase. I was surprised to learn that this device does not support WPS, but my research says WPS isn't secure, so that might not be so bad after all. In the end, no issues, no regrets, no buyers remorse.

I like that it doubles as a WiFii base station and everything is now backed up with all my Apple products !

I bought this because I wanted a dedicated device to use for Time Machine backups for both my iMac and Macbook. Setup was easy and the backups happen effortlessly without me even knowing. I've only had to reboot it one time in 6 months when it wasn't being detected by either computer.

Although expensive, this product worked with no fiddling around. Integrated into my existing network and added new wireless access point as well as a reliable Time Machine backup. My windows boxes can also access it with ease. Overall very happy.

Upgraded from 5 year old Airport Extreme. Love automatic time machine backups. Super fast and better range.

The price always scared me away from the Airport routers. I recently started my own business and had a some capital to establish my home office so I went ahead and bought the new one with the time machine back up built right into it. I should have done it a long time ago, thing works flawlessly and effortlessly.

Easy to set up. This baby resides next to my router. It's aesthetically pleasing to look and does its job.

I struggled with other routers and this solved all our home networking issues. Expensive but worth it.

I would recommend this product to all my friends. What I find best about it is the automatic backup feature.
