Easy to set-up and is working great. Have not tested the distance yet.

Love the products Wi-Fi range and strength. We now can reach our entire house (basement and first floor). Wish storage was easier to navigate (we have Mac PC that we back up) as I-photo was a bit tricky to figure out and understand. Also had major issue with first time back up (advised by system would take 700+days for 2GB back-up to work). Went on-line (Google) and found a patch for Mac operating system (Lion). This is a great product overall. Just needed to spend time learning how to navigate back-up files and finding patch so back-up took less than 1 hour.

This is an excellent wifi base station plus back up hard drive.

This router is the best of the other five brands I have used, it is fast, no drop signal and of all I DONT NEED TO RESET. However the parents control/restrictions can be not easy to set up, it require more than average knowledge of computer

Setup couldn't have been any easier. Set my wife's laptop up with Time Capsule - she loves the additional speed and she is not a techie by any means. I "extended" my network with an additional AirPort Extreme and it was painless. Great system!

I've used Apple's Time Machine app since it first came out and find that the Airport Time Capsule is the best solution for doing so. Unlike other third party alternatives, I haven't had any problems with the Apple drive.

Basically plug and play. A few easy steps and it was up and running

One of the many positive things about Apple products is they work like they should out of the box. This was the case with the Time Capsule. In no time the product was working and backing up my material off of my iMac. The first backup took about 10 hours. Once the preliminary backup is made then only changes made are recorded--all automatically.

What can I say, this is a replacement for a very old time capsule that was still kicking. I needed to get the faster speeds in house, and wanted the significantly larger storage space. It works beautifully. No hassle backups are a joy.

Easy set up.. Just wish I could back up my phone and iPad directly.

this is a great wifi router and backup device, i would suggest that they figure out how to add an additional hard drive to the unit so that you could also use it as a storage unit or server. i use this to backup three computer and 2t seems to be more than enough backup storage for a single user, its not recommended to be a backup/storage on this device. i have a 3t storage device connected to this device and seems like an overkill. i would like to see apple add an additional storage device which would give you one simple device at less cost

I owned a previous model of the time capsule and realized the 13 items on my wireless network were struggling to get consistent signal (mainly streaming devices, Chromcast/AppleTV/Fire TV) This new model handles it all without issue and with automatic backup of 1.5TB of media.
