Easy to hook up, holds more then I'll ever use. I was going to buy the older modal for $250 but for $50 bucks more I got more storage , more speed, and better range.

Previously had an Airport Router which was great but the new Airport Time Capsule eliminates the need for an external backup that I had to remember to backup from time to time. The Wi-Fi is much better as well.

Easy to setup, easy to use. Connects multiple Wifi devices (MacBook, 2 iPads, 2 Androids, Apple TV, PS4, BluRay) without any noticeable slowing down of connection. Much more reliable than my previous wireless router. And it automatically back up the content of MacBook; could also be used as an external hard drive, but I prefer not.

Due to having a larger house and 1/2 acre yard I have two wireless access points, one on each side of the house. Even with the two we have had problems in the past getting any signal at different places in the yard. I decided to try this as a replacement for one of the access points for both better reception and to take advantage of the built in hard drive for Time Machine backups. It has been a very happy upgrade. I now can get fair to decent wifi reception from this Airport throughout the house and most of the yard. It would seem there is also some speed increase on my 5s however I haven't seen any speed improvement on my MacBook Pro. Overall a little pricey but the ease of use and improvement in reception made it a good buy for me.

Like all Apple products, this just works. Out of the box the set up was painless. Had it up and going in 30 mins or less. Powerful signal all through the house. 2TB of storage is a great plus.

I purchased this because I got a MacBook Air and they don't come with much storage (128 GB). So I'm using this as a wireless storage device to keep all my files on. I was worried about setting it up because I'm usually not good at that kind of stuff. I did have to look up a few videos on YouTube to get my Verizon account to work with it, but that was because of Verizon and not the Time Capsule itself. Once I got all the Verizon account information, it was easy to set up and all my Macs (I have 3) were able to find it automatically and access the files. It's working perfectly.
