I have had several routers over time with external hard drives hooked up to them. The hard drives always seemed to go to sleep, or not be recognized. Having an all in one has made backing up via time machine actually work whenever I bring my laptop home.

I love it! Apple made it so simple to use and the signal strength is amazing! Hard to believe its a actually plug and play. Setup is complete in less then 2 minutes.

Like other Apple network products, this station was simple to setup and start using in just a few minutes. The speed and range in the house has been very good.

Absolutely the most effective and efficient means of configuring backups for a MAC!!! Also provides strong WiFi WAP services!

I purchased this as an upgrade to my old Airport Extreme which finally gave out on me. I had used the older Airport Extreme for almost 6 years with no problems. I hope this will last as long. I also like the fact of the 2TB storage as well and wireless.

When switching from cable to fiber optics internet, I opted to use the apple time machine because of the wireless network coverage & performance in my home had been so poor, plus I needed files backup. Set up was a snap! Performance & coverage is excellent!! Backup of my files is now totally automatic & it even lets me know when it needs a firmware update, which went beautifully! I was all Microsoft 6 mos ago, but now I am all apple. I have a mac, iPad& iPhone and it all works plus their customer service is the best! Highly recommended!

I needed a little support help from Apple to get all the settings right, but installation was smooth and the unit works perfectly and looks great beside my IMAC.

The time capsule is great. Makes the internet run faster, and go farther. I also love how I never have to backup anything. It is all automatically saved. Perfect.

I have a Mac and a PC and the internet connection is very good in most places in a 2 story house. It also works well with a smart tv. I like the automatic backup for my Mac. It doesn’t backup the PC but that wa not expected.

Easy setup, outstanding range, works great. Of course we're all Apple products with our home devices but the work computers by dell work great with it too

The setup UI is great and it even boosted my internet speed. I’ve been using for 2 months and haven’t needed to restart it.

This is an excellent performing router and is great for those who look simplicity on a product. Also, it’s easy to setup.

Pros: simple set up, AC Wireless, can be bridge and never had to reboot. Overall device functions well and the time capsule option is nice. Only complaint is it only lasted 20 months. Lucky for me I purchased with VISA signature and got extended warranty by default. But dissapointed in something of high quality to fail so shortly. My suggestion if you need back up look at alternatives the hard drives on these units are not great for power users. (photos, videos, and backup) Or better yet look for cloud options the cost over time and peace of mind outweighs itself. As mentioned overall is good but giving 3 stars due to its failure in short period of time.

I do not know why they would name this after a traffic bogged system, but it works great, it provides a better access point for our Mac, and let's me back up my system all at the same time.

Although a little pricey it was very easy to set up. not like other modems where you have to a techie to make your own passwords and get everything going.

Very easy set-up - was up and running within 20 minutes of plugging it in. Automatic back-ups of several computers over wi-fi were also easy to set up.

Great product. Love the range, ease of setup, and backup storage. Highly recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their current home network.

I consider buying this product as the best choice I made... Almost speed close to the cable (ethernet). Very easy to set up and manage

I loved my airport extreme and when i lost it to a lightning strike, my first thought was to upgrade it to an airport time capsule. The only thing I could think to improve on it would be a few more usb slots and PC support for time capsule.
