This is the 2nd Apple Airport device I've purchased/installed and they are great. Easy to set up and maintain but still provides excellent security functionality.

Replaced my ancient router. Backs up all new activity on my computer daily. Serves as an external hard drive. This is a lot of capacity for the price. Glad I bought it. Set up easily even for a non-tech guy like me.

This is my 3rd AirPort Time Capsule in about 10 years. The units work great but there is a lifespan for these systems. For those of you that have never heard of Time Machine go check it out. This AirPort Time Capsule serves as an incredible backup, should you accidentally delete a file you can "go back in time" and retrieve it. Also, should your computer crash or should you simply get a new computer the AirPort Time Capsule can migrate absolutely everything from your old system to your new system flawlessly.

The difference in bandwidth vs. the top tier equipment you can rent from your cable company is tremendous. Great for a large family with multiple wifi users. Very pleased with purchase and great value for money.

I like the ease of setting up the product. It does some extra clicks to remember how to establish the connection. I like how I can have easy backup of my family Apple laptops without requiring intervention on my part.

Was never quite sold on the benefits of Airport, however after having just about given up on my home internet and at the recommendation of a few forums, I figured I'd give this a try. Wow, what a difference it made over the router provided by my ISP. Connectivity has been MUCH more consistent, speeds have been more consistent and in all, I've not had a single issue. The Time Machine component is an added bonus and in all, I'd say it's money well spent.

Great product. I upgraded from the previous generation and this one is faster and has a broader wifi range.

The Apple Airport Extreme was easily the best router I've ever owned, and the Time Capsule made it even better by adding a built in hard drive! Having to restart these routers is a rarity. Almost every-other router I've owned needed to be restarted every two weeks. Yeah, you can get a cheap wifi router, but the amount of time troubleshooting and restarting, less coverage areas and slower speeds make the higher price of the Time Capsule worth it.
