bought to back up mac devices. nice design, a little big but fits nicely into decor. Quick, own unit wifi has good speed.

This is an excellent product from Apple. Design is great and modern, ease of use and set up was excellent, and performance has been better than expected.

Had been using an old linksys router and using a 500 gig portable hard drive for back-ups. Finally got the new Time Capsule and it is amazing. Needing both a router and more storage space, this made complete sense. Running a Macbook Pro Retina 1st Gen and back-ups are seamless and easy. Would highly recommend getting this device if you have a mac with important files or multiple macs.

This gives me a fully automated and integrated backup for all of my Apple products. Easy to install and begin using. I absolutely love this product

Nice addition after upgrading from a 10 year old airport express (original one). I figured that little wifi router worked so well for so many years that this time capsule would be the same. So far, all is good and I'm enjoying the daily backups (saved a windows partition from disaster already!).

Superior product compared to past generations of Apple Time Machines. Newer vertical design alleviates heat dissipation issues. Smaller base footprint. Superior performance and operation compared to competition when it comes to all categories as a wireless router and modem. Well worth paying the extra money when paying for this Apple product.

It was quick and easy to setup and works well with several Apple devices and a PC. I use it to backup a Mac and have used it for about a month. It auto updates whenever the Mac is plugged in. It required one update to it's software which was as easy as updating an App on the phone. Like all Apple products, it is a little expensive but works great with other Apple devices.

I bought this to replace an old WiFi router. Didn't have a backup system at home so i thought I would try it. Works very well. You don't have to do a thing. Easy set up, very quiet and takes up so little space i hardly notice it is there. I really like apple products and this one didn't disappoint.

Internet connection faster than the rented modem, however the Time Machine backup up is ridiculously, painfully SLOOOOWWWWW. I'm also worried about the viable life of the included HD.

Back up for my new Mac Book Pro is great and WiFi is so much faster now. I'm glad I bought it!

Made the switch to the faster modem. Chose Apple because I have other Apple products and really wanted to store my movies to access on Apple TV. I didn't realize that you need to have the new version of Apple TV to do this. Oh well.

The airport was really easy and fast to set up. So far we are loving it, definitely worth the investment. Once again Apple doesn't fail.

Apple has discontinued this router so pick one up while you can. The first iteration had a hard disk drive this one or at least the one I got has a 2tb solid state drive, at this price! It’s very reliable and keeps my Mac backed up always!

My new Mac Book Air does not have an ethernet port, so I needed a wifi option to connect to my office inter/intranet. I plugged it right into our ethernet switch and right away could see all of our servers and domain associated PC's. The bonus is now we have time machine back up running on all 4 of our Macs at the office. A great level of security that we didn't have before.
