We needed to replace our old Time Capsule, and we never considered anything else. We're very happy with how it's working and recommend it!

I wanted a hassle free way to always have a back up without having to constantly do something. This is a great system for backup and the router has better range than anything I have tried. Cleared up all of the weak spots in my house. I was surprised to learn that the newer and faster 801ac technology used in the router is not provided in the new imac 27 inch desktop?

We purchased the TimeCapsule in connection with our new MacBook Air.......It has the smallish 128 GB SSD hard drive. Instead of spending $200 to upgrade to a 256GB, or $500 for a 512Gb, we chose to spend the $299 on the 2TB TimeCapsule. For us this was the perfect choice!! We were told that it can be set up like a private cloud....after researching several resources we did indeed get it set up as described....and it works beautifully!! You simply use an app called airport utility....set up the "back to my mac" preferences, and wham! all finished! If hooked up via a mac with a Haswell processor on the home network (4th gen itnel chip) it saves and reads files just as fast as if it were saved on the machine itself......if you are away from home, there is a time lag due to the internet limitations.....the slower the internet speed the longer it takes to access your files.......All in All, we are super stoked about our new setup! We would recommend this setup with absolutely no reservations! Enjoy

The device was extremely difficult to set up for the first time which is unusual for Apple products. Once it was hooked up though it ran great and we have been enjoying it ever since with no issues or problems

This unit made my WiFi from slow to super fast. Also good storage for my apple device. I’m pleased with this purchase

The Apple Pencil is a great accessory for the I pad pro and it works well with it. Very efficient and very useful.

Set up was a little tricky but once in place it works like a charm. I have not had reason to restore so can't comment on that part.

I bought this mainly just for a backup, which once I finally got connected correctly to my MAC is great, but the router is awesome! We haven't this great of a connection ever in our house. Worth it for all the memory and the wifi.

I have a large, multi-computer, house that needs to provide WIFI for a bunch of laptops and phones and gaming systems. This router does two things for me, I bridge to the "main" router and I to backups for all of my Mac equipment. I overlooked the option to configure this new time capsule from my old time capsule, but once I sorted that out, it worked great and was an easy transition. My devices connect and work without knowing anything is different. I now have Gigabit ethernet connections and 802.11ac wireless and a larger backup disk.

Very easy to set up and strong signal. With my old router, I didn't get a signal when out on the patio, but with this one I do. I use for my time machine back up and no issues and had the whole thing set up in less than ten minutes.
