In May I returned the 1st device that was purchased in Jan. The 1st device was Geek Squad certified refurbished product bought on-line. It looked new but it never seemed to give me good wireless coverage even in direct line of site 12-18'. In May I purchased a new apple MacBook Pro and continued to have slow downloads from the capsule. I verified poor performance with a downloaded RF Signal Meter App and using several other wireless devices and older wireless routers for comparison. Best Buy phone support agreed to exchange the capsule if I would go to the local store. However, the local store only had new devices and would not do an even exchange. I had to pay about $100 more for a brand new one. I also forfeited the money paid for the Geek Squad extended warranty on the old device. Their system would not allow them to sell me a new Geek Squad extended warranty for the new device nor tack on the prorated coverage onto the new device. I've been using the new capsule for a couple of weeks and it works flawlessly, giving great thru-put especially on 802.11ac/80 bandwidth and I would recommend purchase of an all new unit from Best Buy. Note: The Signal Strength & Range Testing must not be part of Geek Squads certification process. Be careful to quickly identify any performance issues with any refurbished device. In my case, the Best Buy extended warranty provided relief. I would recommend this product as it works well in wireless mode and as a great backup device.

I have had this for a month now and it's working seamlessly. It's another great Apple product: just set it and forget it! I now have excellent coverage on a 200 ft radius throughout the house, back, front yard and garage. The time machine backup works great with my iMac, Mac Mini and Mac Book Air. So far so good, happy with it!

When replacing my old wireless router I can across this unit. It's compact and blend two features in small package. Also with the build in wireless feature I can send print command via computer even mobile unit that is on the secure network! Overall I'm happy with it after a month.

The AirPort TimeCapsule has been amazing. With the 2TB HDD I was able to free up space from all of our computers and centrally locate all of our multimedia and back up each of our PCs. Only problem was getting all of our PCs to recognize and find it. Still love this thing, though!

I was nervous about spending that kind of money on a router but its a deal at twice the price. We have two iPads, two MacBooks and two apple T.V.'s running off of this thing and the speed blows my mind. AWESOME!!!! If you have Mac products everything just works automatically no set up issues at all and the time capsule works perfectly for back up.
