    I bought this to use with Time Machine for backups only. I did not want to use this as a modem/router. ( My provider will only provide support if I use their equipment.) The Time Capsule would not let me set it up to do backups only. The salesman told me I could use it this way, but I just did not need to pay so much, then only use it for backup. Even if I could figure out how to do that. My DIL uses a Time Machine for access and backups and is very happy with it.

    The small footprint of this piece of equipment is great! The large capacity in a tiny package makes this perfect for an uncluttered office. Knowing our work is backed up and secure within our reach is a comfort and the added plus of wifi base is the best. Makes this perfect for personal as well as office use!!

    It took me very short time to understand what to do and do it to set it up. It improved my home network reception for all different products I have. It has worked very well with Mac. I have to test it with PC based products other than my smartphone. I would recommend it if your are looking for a similar product.
