I have a MacBookPro 2011 and it was a 3 hour phone call to set it up. I was almost giving up but after that works fine. Apple claim my computer did not have a program this machine needs to install. Also BestBuy agent told me at the store that I could back it up far way from the machine. That's not true. Just at the range of Timecapsule the back up can be done.

Acknowledged newbie to Mac world. Impressed w/ design and functionality and of course, seamless connectivity. Still trying to adjust to Apple price points. Given $$$, somewhat surprised that range for latest gen Time Capsule isn't at all 'bars' for blu-ray only 35' away- but can live with it.

Easy to use and set up for an external drive for backup!

Christmas gift for my Son. His family has several Apple Macbooks and I pads. They now have a central server to hold the information they need to store. Very impressive unit...available in several storage sizes.

My husband and I turn all our DVD into digital copies and have them on the apple time capsule as well as our music and photos. So if we want to watch a movie we just go to our Apple TV and play it from there!

Had it a couple days. Works great so far. No issues

it was a bit cumbersome getting started but it finally worked. would like to be able to see all that is saved there. I wish there were clear instructions on how to partiiton the drive so it could be used as an external drive

the Apple TimeCapsule is overall a good purchase to back up any Apple device. It can back up multiple devices, you can manage the back ups on any apple device as well. It was kind of confusing to set up, mainly because I wanted to set it up without making it my wifi router. It is possible, just takes some time.

My prior Time Capsule had failed to backup my system. I needed to replace it and the 2TB was a plus knowing I should have plenty of space with this one. The salesman at Best Buy were very informative and helpful in this matter.

This time capsule can't be beat. In our house hold we have joined the dark side, Apple everything, the time capsule is the sugar coating on this apple pie. If you have an apple product, I highly recommend a time capsule.

I have about 35Gb of photo's in IPhoto and wanted to move them for backup purposes. I tried several different methods to move / copy the files using wireless and ethernet directly connected. While the move was successful it took a very long time. Now that the files are in place it is working fine. Overall it is a good product and simple to setup and use.

I love being able to back up our devices automatically. The wifi network in our house is solid and reliable because of this device. It works seamlessly with all of our other devices.

This has confirmed my happiness with Apple products. This 2TB Wireless router works wonders. Hold my data as well as keeps me connected to XBox Live. Thumbs up! 5 out of 5

I think this thing works great. I am not using it as a time capsule but rather network storage. One slight problem: the drive doesn't always stay active. I sometimes have to turn wi-fi off and restart it to be able to access the drive. The connection seems to time out. Not a show stopper, just an irritant. Either way, I am glad I purchased it.

Indeed Apple is the frontier of technology especially if you already own apple laptops, iPhones, iPads this product is the best for this ideal situation.

I have mixed feelings about the apple airport... I've heard great reviews but it's been kicking me off line. Otherwise it's great, it automatically backs up all your info and the wireless network has a farther distance.

I bought this item with the intention to back files and to have my own personal wifi. It connects directly to my router with than feeds it's own wifi signal. The wifi signal goes far and doesn't loose speed. Great item

I can not tell you how many times this device has saved me. I don’t know what i would do without my Time Capsule! I recommend this to anyone with a MacBook! You need this!!
