The Apple AirTag is one of those small things you don’t realize you need until you have it. Great concept, but for $110 - to have then come with no adhesive, a small case, something to keep it inserted or clipped to its descrete location.
Because the 4 cases to put them in costs even more than the pack of 4 themselves. The price difference here and from what TILE has been doing.
Need way more from APPLE in this area

The Apple AirTag is easy to set up and works well for tracking items like keys or bags using the Find My app. The location tracking is accurate, the only downside is that accessories are sold separately. Overall, it’s a reliable tracker for Apple users.

I bought an open box airtag hoping to save a few bucks, unfortunately, I can see it wasn't just opened, but returned for being defective. The airtag cannot be added to my items as it doesn't send a bluetooth signal at all to be properly set up. Now I have to go back in person to return.

These are good trackers, however they do not offer precision tracking without at least a iPhone 11 or higher. I am actually an Android user, but do own an iPad. You can set up the airtags with an apple account and iPad. All you need is for your iPad to be connected to the internet. When I am out and about away from WIFi, I set up a hot spot from my android phone to my iPad and I can track my airtags this way, albeit I cannot do precision finding. I can only see a general location. I also like that the airtag batteries can be replaced, they are just batteries you can buy at a drugstore.
The airtags are also very easy to setup, as you would expect from just about anything in the apple / iOS ecosystem. Just keep in mind if you don't have at least an iPad you will not be able to use or set these up - they will not work for Android only users.

As someone who has a tendency to misplace belongings, I've always been on the lookout for innovative solutions to help me locate my lost items. Enter the AirTag by Apple, a compact tracking device designed to assist forgetful individuals like me in finding their valuables. In this review, I'll share my experience with the AirTag and its features, shedding light on how it has become an essential tool in my daily life.
Design and Setup:
The AirTag boasts a sleek and minimalist design that seamlessly blends into everyday items. Its small, circular shape and polished stainless steel finish give it a premium feel. Setting up the AirTag is a breeze, thanks to the effortless integration with Apple's ecosystem. Simply bring it close to your iPhone, and it pairs automatically. The intuitive setup process ensures that even the most technologically challenged individuals can get it up and running in no time.
Tracking Capabilities:
Once connected to your iPhone, the AirTag offers a range of practical tracking features. The Find My app becomes your go-to tool for locating misplaced items. The app displays a clear, real-time map with the precise location of your AirTag, making it easy to track down lost items within your vicinity. If you're out of range, the Find My network utilizes the vast Apple ecosystem, allowing other Apple devices to anonymously assist in locating your AirTag. This network effect is a game-changer, significantly increasing the chances of finding your belongings even if you're far away.
Precision and Accuracy:
The AirTag's precision and accuracy are truly remarkable. The built-in Precision Finding feature, exclusive to iPhone 11 and newer models, utilizes the Ultra-Wideband technology to guide you with haptic feedback and sound cues, leading you straight to your lost item with remarkable accuracy. The combination of audio and visual aids makes the search process incredibly intuitive, even for the most forgetful individuals.
Privacy and Security:
Apple has always prioritized user privacy, and the AirTag is no exception. The device comes with features designed to protect your data and maintain your privacy. The AirTag employs end-to-end encryption, ensuring that your location data remains secure and accessible only to you. Additionally, Apple has implemented anti-stalking measures, such as alerts and notifications to prevent unauthorized tracking via AirTags.
Battery Life and Replaceability:
AirTag's battery life is impressive, providing up to a year of usage before needing a replacement. The user-replaceable CR2032 battery is easily accessible, eliminating the need to purchase a new AirTag once the battery dies. This convenience ensures that the AirTag remains a cost-effective long-term solution for forgetful individuals.
Conclusion:
As someone prone to forgetfulness, the AirTag has been an absolute lifesaver. Its sleek design, seamless integration with Apple devices, accurate tracking capabilities, and commitment to privacy make it an invaluable tool in locating misplaced items. The Precision Finding feature and Find My network have saved me countless hours of searching, providing peace of mind and reducing stress. Although not perfect, the AirTag is undoubtedly a must-have for anyone prone to forgetfulness. With its affordability and reliable performance, it's an investment that pays off in spades.

Super easy to set up with my iPhone and incredibly accurate. I’ve used it to find my keys and even track my luggage while traveling. The battery lasts long and can be replaced. Only downside: you need an accessory to attach it to things. Overall, totally worth it!

I occasionally misplace my things and have looked at getting AirTags to keep tabs on my items and where they're located. For a while I never really justified AirTags until I actually lost some of my items after dropping them.
Tracking is pretty accurate and they are absolutely tiny. I like how you can set an emoji for each of your AirTags to easily pick out where your items are in the Find My app.
The 4 pack is perfect for most people, as you can put tags on your backpack, keys, etc.
When this pack is on sale, you'll thank yourself later on for purchasing the pack.

I love these air tags. I have one in my car and my purse always and when I travel I put them in all my bags! To me they are an amazing invention and if I forget where I put my purse or park my car - voila ! I can look it up and find it. The battery life is amazing . My sister had her set way longer than I had mine and she just had to change the battery in one of them. It even tells you it needs to be changed and the batteries are easy to find on Amazon. So you get them quick. Also I couldn’t believe how easy it was to change the battery, my sister did it in minutes and is NOT tech savvy at all!!!

Apple AirTag is a tiny, easy‑to‑set‑up tracker that works best with iPhones—you get precise “Find My” locating and a year‑long battery. It’s solid for keys or bags, but only really shines in the Apple ecosystem.
