You Never Know Until You Own It
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have bought every other general of iPads. I have to say, iPad Pro should hold its own category. The enlarged screen will bring great experiences to both reading and video watching. I really enjoy really papers/magazines on iPad and there is no better experience than the iPad Pro. Its screen size is similar to A4 paper and you don't have to worry about Zoom your screen anymore.

Oh, Just Wait Until You See It!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Talk about Big? I have the Galaxy Note 12.2 Tablet and the screen here is much wider, almost double. The IPAD PRO has that Split window now and boy oh boy it works with a very limited amount of Apps. Compared to Samsung Note Pro 12.2 which works with with up to 4 Windows split and so many useful apps. I also noticed that side by side the COLORS of the SAMSUNG were MUCH MUCH more VIVID and richer compared to the IPAD PRO's. The Samsung has a BUILT IN STYLUS and I have to wait for the APPLE PENCIL and I DON'T KNOW WHY. There is NO PLACE to put it when not in use. And another $100 plus tax the cost of some tablets and some phones. I have over $1200 invested into this 128 GB IPAD PRO with LOGITECH Keyboard and I own the AIR 2 I am not BLOWN away by the tablet. I am ok with it. I think of how many 2 in 1's or laptops like a nice 15 inch and saved $700. If the Pencil is not out before the RETURN policy is up I will return the PRO

I love it!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome, pretty much describes it all. Thin and light with a powerful processor, google earth runs effortlessly and the screen resolution is amazing with 4K video, my coworkers were amazed. It's a killer Netflix machine! I have no need for the keyboard or pen, so I can't comment on those items, but I absolutely LOVE the pro and recommend it without hesitation.

Perfect for Me
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my IPad Pro. The extra screen space is great for movies, magazines, books, comics and general browsing. I liked my IPad Air, but my eyesight has been getting worse. The bigger screen makes a difference for me.

Hated it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hoping to use this as a laptop, but it is not a substitute for a real laptop. This product is great for entertainment and that is about it. I love the iPad I have, I did not need another entertainment device.

Great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've seen reviews that stated, it's too heavy, it's too big, blah blah blah... I love it! I'm a full time college student and the 12.9 is way lighter than dragging 4 books and 3 binders.. I use the iPad to buy my books electronically which is a plus because they are cheaper. I'm saving money all around.. I use window notes to take notes while looking at my text on the split screen.. Saving money on pen and paper. This is a great investment.

Far Exceeding Expectations
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Something I've had in common with many other reviewers: I've owned every model of iPads since the initial launch. For me, up until now, the iPad has always just kind of been a cool product but that was limited to being little more than a larger iPhone display. It's always been limited to iOS primarily. That's why I didn't rush out and buy the Pro when it was first launched. I have some web-based databases I use that have iOS apps, but while the web-based browser interface was great, the apps were nothing short of horrible. This iPad is a total game changer. With great reluctance, I ponied up the nearly $1200 for the Pro and keyboard. I already have a highly customized MBP with a Cinema Display, do I really need this? I picked it up from the local Best Buy earlier today and all I can say is WOW! As for those apps that work great in a regular browser but are horrible in iOS, the problem is solved! The display is big enough that you can just open up Chrome or whatever browser you use and now it's a totally native web-based experience, just like on your laptop. So this iPad Pro is really a marriage between laptops and all the features of iOS. Is Apple sticking it to you a little with the high priced keyboard cover? Yes, but I can't even dock them a star for that because it works so great. Do I wish it was back-lit? Yes, as other users have said, but I've been typing since high school so it's all feel anyways. Still, it would be nice, especially at that price. I've read several positive reviews that have said it's not quite a replacement for a laptop. Well, yes and no. For me, I'll keep my MBP and continue to keep it. But it absolutely could be a replacement. I am typing all of this on my fresh out-of-the-box iPad Pro w/ Apple keyboard cover. Main piece of advice: Don't even think of buying this without getting the keyboard. Otherwise, you'll just have a larger and faster iPad. By getting that keyboard, if you travel like I do, you can keep the MBP (or other laptop) at home when traveling. Loving it!!

iPad Pro 128g
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I begged for and received an iPad Pro 128g for Christmas. It's by far my favorite adult "toy", and I couldn't be more pleased with it. Even though I am a 71 year old, retired female, it's a bomb! I'm amazed at the speed and features, and seem to discover new things almost daily. It's also so easy to use, and I will probably NEVER use my desktop or laptop again. I especially love the split screen feature and the display.

Good not Great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I travel extensively and bought this to replace a laptop. I went with an Apple product since I own other Apple devices and have already aquired apps that I need for my work. First the bad. -It is expensive. -It does not have a USB port to load files on a memory stick. Often time I need to give a file to a co-worker or customer. The solution is to use an expensive SanDisk WiFi stick. -The battery does not last for ten hours as advertised by Apple. It is more like 6 1/2 to 7 hours. If you are on long flights, you will need and external battery pack. Truth in advertising must for a foreign concept to Apple. -The pencil is not available but that will be taken care of near future. I expect to frequently use the sketching capability. -Some apps do not work on my iPad Pro that worked on my iPad Air. I suspect that will be resolved within a few months. The good: -The display is excellent. -It works with previous generations Apple blue tooth keyboards. -The biometric button works very well as I use complex passwords and the fingerprint technology is a time saver. -The 12.9 " display is a good size to use the split screen. As and example I can put Microsoft word on one side and Microsoft Excel (or Power Point) on the other side and then copy and paste into my reports or presentations. Very quick and easy. Love it! -It has a full virtual keyboard (that means it has a tab key which is nice in doing documents. -My cellular model has a GPS chip that provides location data outside cellular coverage. (You must have an application that has the map data on the device not in the cloud) In addition to Garmin road maps II can use topo maps in remote locations. Apple Maps apps quits working once your out of cellular range. -Weight of the device is good. That said, I would accept a little more weight to get more battery life. -If you have other Apple products there is a very little learning curve. Conclusion: This device will not replace your computer but it brings a lot of capability to the “Road Warrior”. That said it can meet the requirement for creating documents, presentations, spreadsheets, surfing the web, GPS directions, and e-mail. You can watch movies on a long flight and play some games. All in all, I am not totally satisfied with this device. Battery life is a big disappoint for me. If I were just using this around the house it would be OK. Apple is rapidly losing its edge to other brands and unless Apple enhances capability they will be left behind. I would not recommend this to a friend unless they were a business traveler. For most other people the smaller iPad Air is a better option.

Got the iPad Pro and returned the SurfaceBook
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to love the SurfaceBook. I liked it so much I sold my Surface Pro 3 and 12" MacBook. However after 2 weeks the bugs and constant freezing and reports of docking issues on the net made me question the longevity of the Surface Book. The Surface book did sell me on using a larger tablet, so I went with a iPad Pro and a Dell XPS 15 w/ Infinity display. I found myself using the SurfaceBook in Clipboard mode for just surfing and YouTube, the only issue is it lasted just 2.5 hrs off the base. The iPad Pro gets really close to the 10 hrs for those tasks. No, it can't replace your laptop, but it does so many things right.

Apple does it again
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned multiple Apple products in my life including computers, iPods, iPads, and IPhone. This is one of my favorite products they have released. The screen is amazing. I haven't bought the pencil yet, but am looking forward to the experience. I originally bought the 32gb model but is only had 24gb out of the box. Had to get the 128gb
