All the hype put behind the iPad pro boasting its hardware capabilities but lacking anything pro in iOS. I really put an effort into liking the product but I found myself frustrated in trying to use the iPad pro in anything productive. It can edit 3 4K videos simultaneously yet the built in camera is 2 years behind only films in 1080p 30 fps at the most, (yeah I'll record video using an iPad) and lacking ability to actually transfer videos into the iPad via iTunes to edit unless you use the cloud service, lame. 128 gb storage space is a joke, my phone holds this much, there should be a 256gb offering if it is to be a pro device. The apple pencil seemed to be more of a gimmick if you can actually find one in stock, at the price point your paying for the iPad it should come with the device by default. Keyboards come at a premium price as well. And the biggest complaint of all is IOS and apps are not fully supported on the big screen, a majority of apps have yet been updated to fully support the large screen resolution and appear stretched and blurry, reminds me when the original iPad came out and a majority of the apps were designed for the iphone everything was zoomed in. no 3D Touch support, not even with the pencil, fingerprint sensor is last years slower version. Okay, on a positive note it is an iPad, very responsive and fast. So if you want an iPad wait for the Air 3 to be announced next month, or get the air 2 which is substantially cheaper. For the money you spend for a pro you would be better off with a MacBook that has a full OS, built in keyboard and true use of "pro" apps. Me personally a regrettably returned my pro and will wait for next gens model which by then should address all of my complaints listed above, and iOS will hopefully have more features taking advantage of the size.

Web browsing is instantaneous. Full page magazine viewing is amazing.

Been using iPads since they came out and finally upgraded to the Pro. Yes, it's "just a bigger iPad" but the sheer size of it makes it feel much more like using a laptop. When you first hold one it feels really huge but after using it for a bit, it feels totally manageable. Some people may find it heavy if they are used to the smaller iPads but reality the 12.9" iPad Pro is nearly the same weight as the original 9.7" iPad from 2010. We dealt with that much weight just fine back then so I think people can get used to the iPad Pro. Aside from the size, this thing is super fast and fluid. Best iOS experience I've had. Can't think of any app that slows down at all and the split screen multitasking is really useful. Overall it is an awesome computer if you know what you are getting into when you buy one. Oh and it works great as a Cintiq style pen display when connected to your Mac with Astropad. I retouch photos in Photoshop using the pencil and Astropad and it's just as good if not better than my Wacom tablet!

Finally a tablet that is large enough that you can see what's being shown. Also love the crispness of the pictures.

Best IPAD I have had. However, i made the mistake of buying it used but certified from BB. I had problems with it within the first week and had to return. Buy new.

After being a long-term android and Samsung user I decided to give apple a try. I mainly wanted a device with a great display and fast enough to handle web browsing , gaming and face-timing with family. I am very impressed with the style and construction of this device . It truly feels like a premium device . The display is amazing and find myself watching more and more movies on my ipad now than ever. The size at 12.9 inches does take some time getting used to but after as couple weeks this is my new favorite media viewing device.

The IPad Pro is a magnificent product by itself but when it's accompanied with the Apple Pencil makes for a seamless experience and one that Apple is known to have. The IPad Pro is what Apple believes to be your desktop replacement and to a certain degree i believe it can be just. You have a great IOS running with it and just like any Apple product it's a simplistic experience. I enjoy the product very much and i will never regret in buying this product it has been my daily driver and as Apple intended it to be a desktop replacement. Not only does the IPad have great specs it also is lightweight but it just aesthetically pleasing, to the very family color choices to its iconic look, the IPad Pro is a force not to be recon with. The IPad Pro not only is a desktop replacement but it also has replaced my notebooks and textbooks, paired with the Apple Pencil via Bluetooth, makes for a writing experience that seemed differently familiar. Moreover, i believe you should start making a deathbed for your desktop and purchase yourself the IPad Pro. The IPad Pro is not only a magnificent product but it is a game changing device with amazing features for many including me. The IPad Pro has 4 loud speakers thus making it a surround sound system, anyway you have the IPad it always has the lower two speakers as the low and full of bass; while the top two are the high and regular noise level which causes an amazing listening experience. There also is a multitask feature in which you can have two apps simultaneously open at the same time, which on the IOS was not possible to do until now. It is a very helpful feature and when it comes to writing an essay and looking up a definition on google it's now easier and fluid. Furthermore, the IPad Pro is super lightweight and thin which is easier to have in your backpack or carry around with ease and without the need to take a break to rest your hand. Although, many people’s opinion on the IPad Pro is “man that's huge,” or “Damn, I didn't know we could bring our TVs to school,” it will certainly catch people's attention and if its big size intimidates you Apple has made a smaller 9.7 in IPad Pro. So the choice is ultimately yours, but i highly recommend the bigger 12.9 in as your desktop killer.

I bought this for my sister and she loved it! She used it mainly for work so it was money well spent.

I use mine iPad pro for microbiology classes mainly but have found use for it in the other classes as well. I have mine without the keyboard since oddly enough I'm able to type just as fine without it on the screen due to the larger size. The smaller one though I was unable to do that so I would for sure recommend the larger size. It holds a battery well but takes a while to charge. I've found that with the 29W USB-C adapter with the C to lightening cable though it charges rather quickly.

I had the opportunity to test this out for 2 weeks before the release date. Unbelievable and will not disappoint almost nobody! Apple hit it the bulls-eye. Some may not like the XL screen size but it's wonderful!!

I like the new larger format. My eyes are aging and the 12.9 inch iPad Pro offers improved readability over my older iPad. This is the sixth iPad I have bought and all have been excellent for me and my family member. I am particularly pleased with the increase speed out of the new processor and additional RAM over my older unit. Apple's iOS is increasing the demand on the CPU and this is a big score in solving that problem. Battery life is reasonable but not outstanding.

Love this Ipad! The screen is so clear and so BIG. I am very happy with it so far. Cant wait for more covers and docks to come out so I can dress it up!

This was an upgrade from iPad 2 and there are some notable differences in the camera and screen resolution. Very nice product.

Very nice. I would like to see something different though. Without the pencil, it is a bigger iPad Air with faster everything but at the end nothing major that is unique.

If you like big screens than this is perfect for you. It's really HD and has a lot more features than a regular iPad Air

This is my first Apple product but it was easy to figure out and use. I bought a stylus pen which I highly recommend rather than using your finger (so much easier and keeps it smudge-free) I also bought a keyboard/case from Amazon so it can be closed and protected when not in use. I will be taking this iPad to the U.K. on vacation and it will be so much better than my much heavier laptop.

This iPad is incredible. Good things about it: - Speakers are great - Display is super clear - Apple Pencil precision is amazing, great tool for drawing on the go - Great apps that allow creativity - Easy to take notes, similar to pen and paper - Super lightweight I highly recommend this for any artists, graphic designers, or architects (the last of which I primarily use it)

Excellent size for portability of laptop or mac book examples. Has new and out of this decade capabilities. Allows for watching video or other media while in another window doing other important activities. The sound Is now heard through 4 speakers which I have never heard from any apple product. This size suits me for as long as I will have this iPad in my possession.
