I really wanted to dump apple and go to the surface pro. I bought the 4 I kept it two days took it back and got my I pad pro. The surface is just a laptop that's it nothing special this I pad is great does everything I wanted it to do.

It is fast. It works perfectly. I love the resolution. I'm very happy with my purchase.

This is my third iPad now. Before I had the original iPad and the first iPad mini. All I can say is wow! This is so much faster. Lots of memory. Movies look amazing! I love the fact that I can watch a movie and work on other things at the same time. Works great with my Mac mini, iPhone, and Apple Watch. Can't wait for more accessories to become available. Highly recommend!

I was intrigued by the iPad Pro solely because of the Apple Pencil functions. I waited to buy the iPad until I could also get the Pencil at the same time, in case I was dissatisfied and wanted to return. I'm glad I waited, because I did end up returning both. Quality products that do everything they're supposed to do, but at the end of the day, it wasn't very practical for average use (web browsing and document creation/editing). After adding a case, the weight was pretty substantial. I found myself using my laptop case to carry it around with me, which I quickly realized made this somewhat pointless. I returned in favor of choosing my MacBook Pro over the iPad for the majority of tasks.

the only obvious benefit is the bigger screen and the front facing speaker but then again its just a Giant Iphone without the phone

This is a very good option for a tablet, if you like apple products it's for you. I think that 128 GB it's enough, however if you use for some heavy duty, maybe more space will be better. Keep in mind no chance to insert a micro SD. The big screen and great performance is perfect to video and sound edition.

My iPad Pro died after working for just a few days so I can't give a fair product review. I own two older generations of iPads so I was looking forward to upgrading to the latest generation. My iPads are great for emailing but are slow. My older iPad cannot run the latest version of IOS and often crashes while surfing the Internet so I was looking forward to replacing it. When I returned ithe Pro to the store the technician was skeptical when I claimed it was dead and initially thought I hadn't charged the unit. But after plugging the unit in for a half hour he agreed it didn't hold a charge and has to be replaced. My sales associate Craig was courteous and helpful but the promised replacement has not arrived and its delivery is overdue. So now I'm waiting for a replacement and hope,that soon I can evaluate the Pro.

I bought this for my husband who is an artist. He uses it to do digital drawings and his work is amazingly lifelike. It has various setting to make the pen mimic various brush sizes and it is sensitive enough to know whether you are making a curved or thinner or broader stroke. When using the watercolor option, it actually bleeds just like an actual watercolor painting would do. Of course, all of the other iPad functions work great as well such as viewing the internet, playing games, etc. The iPad pro is portable and travels well. It has the functionality of a MacBook and the portability of a tablet. I highly recommend this product.

We both have iPad Air 2 for everyday personal use. We got the iPad Pro for travel, big screen to share for movies and videos with a Bluetooth transmitter and headphones so we can watch and listen together, gazing at the ocean on a cruise. Also put some magazines on it, nice and big for old eyes! As with every other apple product we've had, the iPad Pro is great! Old iPod, iPhone, iPad, have been replaced with new iPods, iPhones and iPads - can't imagine life without them!

I am not a IPad, IPod, IPhone person. But I got to say, from all the tables I have and gotten. This is the best one ever. Not only because I could draw normal , like if it is just a pice of paper and color pencil , but the screen is big and Movies look so amazing . I could do a 550 pice puzzle and is like having in live in front of me. To make it short..... all I will say to end this is that I am in love, of course with my wife but also with this IPad Pro 12'9

I used my computer to watch movies, but I am more using this ipad pro(gold) to watch it now. I like the light weight and the space in this ipad, 128 GB isn't that much but good enough for me. The USB charger charge up really quick! Make sure to get a case with it because it seems very easy to break the device. I purchased this ipad on Jun 3rd with a reduced rate + my education discount($100)! So I paid total $699.99 + tax. That was a great deal and I love my ipad!

The Ipad Pro simply ROCKS! Better everything, runs super smooth and I haven't found a program that bogs it down or locks it up, 5 stars all the way!

Superfast, decent resolution for 12.9" screen size.. Good desktop class tablet, if you can work with iOS. Got to be little creative to workaround iOS limitations. Overall, great piece of hardware.

Purchased on 11/30/15 and as of 1/3/16 the Pencil and Smart Keyboard are not available anywhere and still on backorder from the Apple website. How the heck can Apple sell a "Pro" device without making sure that consumers can also purchase the accessories that make it a "Pro" device? Well... because they were in a hurry to get the iPad Pro out before the holidays without caring about whether the necessary accessories were available to the consumer. So far, I have purchased a $1,000 iPad that is good for playing around online and nothing else. This was going to be my laptop replacement since most of my work is just research and drafting Office documents. But, I can't even do that. I give it a 5 for content consumption. I give it a 0 for productivity and a 0 for price. Why spend $1,000 on this iPad, when you can get an iPad Air 2 for literally half the price.

First IPad and must admit it is great. Love the hassle free ability to use and the ease of use. Took a little getting used to but absolutely love it. Wondering why I never went Apple before. Great help in store choosing and explaining its uses. **Also get the Apple Care, they are very helpful, available via chat/phone and email**

Before I've made this purchase,I've tried the surface pro 4,which suffered from pen/latency issues,a poor touch interface,and heating issues,but after exchanging for the iPad Pro,I've found that this device provided the best digital drawing experience I've ever had. When combined with Procreate (only $5) and the Apple Pencil ($100),you'll find that you've got the best mobile art studio on the market. There's no lag or excessive heating while working with large canvases in Procreate. The interface is also better than anything you could find on a Windows app. While painting,you will NOT get a hover cursor under your stylus,but that is more of a plus,as you'll be less distracted as you draw your lines. It's also better than drawing on a Wacom tablet.

Great new Ipad with larger screen and faster loading

My husband and I love Apple. We have 4 iphones, an ipad mini, an ipod and now the ipad pro in our home. The ipad pro is awesome. So many features. The keyboard feature is great, no missed keys strokes. It's a great size for editing pictures and my husband does his college course work on it. Buy it. You won't be sorry.

Yes it is big and that is why I purchased it. I put it in an Otterbox Deffender case and yes that makes it heavier but who cares I want to make sure it does not get broken and I trust Otterbox to protect my Tablet, and as a plus I find the Otterbox case makes it easier to hold due to the rubber outside of case.
