Tried to purchase 3 new sets for Christmas gifts before the holidays. Had a limit of 1 only. Only way to buy 3 was to buy geek squad certified. Was told by employee that they are like new, same warranty. Box arrived with 3 of them. My initial thoughts on one of the boxes had sticky tape residue on them. I went ahead and opened it out suspicion. What I recieved was the 1st gen set with no wireless charing case. Pulled box and found charging cable broke and was green as if it was mowed over several times. Nasty. Opened the other 2 boxes and found one that was not factory reset and had someones name when paired. Last one opened the airpods where dead....had to charge to pair and check, same thing not factory set and had someone else's name on bluetooth synce. Had to drive to store after being on phone with customer service for 1 hour stating they couldn't do anything about it. Returned them and demanded new ones and if price pay the difference in new compared to USED.

Some of the features don’t work properly. When you try to tap to play the music again sometimes it won’t play.

Condition of refurbished ok. It was scratched and didn’t close properly. I would buy new next time.

they are okay. Pretty got for refurbished air pods, but hear a crackle every once and a while

I won’t recommend anyone to buy refurbished ones unless you get them in less than half price.

I've had the originals for years and unfortunately, one of my AirPods got run over and wanted the wireless charging case without getting pros. The sound wasn't great and they somehow sounded worse than the ones I ran over.

I didn’t use them regularly when I first got them, so I didn’t realize that they couldn’t hold a charge. I had been told that these would hold a charge in the case for a long time if you didn’t use them, but I would find them completely run down. Don’t bother with the used ones, go new and save yourself the hassle.

The product and packaging was very dirty. It looked like someone used them then proceeded to pack them up and shi them to us. I understand I bought refurbished but I thought Best Buy would clean them before sending them. I will not buy anything from Best Buy refurbished again. Lesson learned.

I wouldn’t buy these again. When I received them I was super excited when I opened the box the AirPods were dirty and there was someone’s left over crusty ear wax sitting in the ear bud. these aren’t refurbished they are customers returned Items that they are discounting down and saying they are refurbished. If these were truly refurbished AirPods they would have at least went through them and cleaned them with an Alcohol swab. Pay the extra and get brand new.

They work fine, the cast does not hold a full charge. I plugged it in over night and the case itself still only had 94% charge on it. I plan on returning this for refurbished Airpro bcuz these are not the best for my ears. They were a bit painful.

after time is stop working properly there is time that people don’t hear me talking or there is static and i need to disconnect the airpods from my phone and talk with out it. not happy at all now i need to go and buy new ones.

I'd ordered this last week, the Geek Squad Certified Refurbished Airpods with Wireless Charging Case (I've never owned one or been around one). When I opened the box, and starting using the device, it was work fairly normally UNTIL I decided to charge the case on my Qi-certified charging base. Nothing was happening - I asked one of my good friends who has one of these & he said there should be a light indicator on the front of my charging case, which I didn't have. The box said "wireless charging case" Very disappointed in Best Buy & Geek Squad as I returned this device.

Well they are still a little expensive for being refurbished. They look new but after a while one of the ear pods starts to sound staticky os I make sure to not use them for a long time..

I am sending mine back. The pair I got appear to have never been fixed or reset. Right way bud hummed as soon as you opened the case and ear buds were still registered and Angela’s ear buds.

I deployed overseas and Best Buy does not ship it to APO address. I had to send it to a friend address in the state and he ships it to me. Because of complications related to COVID-19 I just received the item! The right headset does not work and the AirPod keep disconnect every two-three seconds! The description says that it is Geek Squad Certified!! I don’t know what to say about this, but I don’t think that is correct!! I really disappointed! This is first time I’m facing this kind of issue with Best Buy in twelve years!

One crapped out during the return period. I returned and purchased new Air Pods Pro. I generally purchase refurbished when possible to save the environment. Your results may vary.

Disappointed based on the positive reviews I read. They really hurt my ears and did not hold the charge long. Even refurbished still cost $130, and I cannot return. Not a good value.
