I bought this Geek Squad Recertified MacBook Pro because it was $250 cheaper. Even Black Friday deals can't match this. I've never purchased a recertified product before but their 14 day return policy and full warranty gave me confidence. As soon as I opened the box, I could tell this was going to be a keeper. The product is basically new. There are a few very slight scratches on the cover, but the screen, the keyboard, and the electronics are flawless. I would definitely have no hesitation purchasing another Geek Squad recertified item.

The new MacBook Pro is really great and nice. It fast and the display is amazing. Had a windows laptop and I had to get a new laptop and choose the Retina display.

I have been a Linux user for years but missed the functionality of some of the mainstream applications. I decided to go with a Mac because it gives me the power of Unix with mainstream application availability. It also has enough power to be able to run virtualized copies of both Linux and Windows at the same time without any noticeable degradation of performance. My Mac is an i7 and 16 GB RAM with a 256 GB SSD. The fact that I was able to get a refurbished Mac and get what I feel is a great is a definite plus! I would not hesitate to buy this again!

The first "geeksquad refurbished, passed all kinds of tests" macbook pro that was purchased as Christmas present for our son had to go back as it crashed everytime a program was opened. After a disappointing experience with the customer service dept. at an out of state store (where our son is currently living) the issue was ultimately resolved with a phone call to Bestbuy's (national) customer service dept and a replacement computer, which seems to be working fine.

Sometimes people are hesitant on buying refurbished items. Geek Squad certification gave made me feel calm. My mac had some minor scratches on the bottom but the machine is running great. $200 less for a refurbished mac means not being able to unwrap but you will still have all the power.

Always wanted one now I have one. This was a Geek Squad refurb (not completly sure what that is but...)at a great price. The packaging was the only way I could tell that it was not brand new. Great laptop.

I have never owned a Mac before but I love this computer. The computer is sleek and very nice. It is fast and in perfect condition.

Perfect grift for college student, just what I needed, light and fast. Will recommend to anyone that is not needing to much memory and can use wifi storage services

Hi, I bought the geek squad certified mac pro because of 2 main reasons. First, cost and second, I thought that this will be in perfect condition since it's geek squad certified. But, when I started the setup then I could hear on screeching sound coming out of it. It was continuous and I could hear that sound coming after use of every 2-3 minutes. Eventually I had to go the store to exchange it but they didn't have anything in stock so finally I had to return it.

This laptop is nice for student with that price. They work good except an error happen to the screen when you watch youtube in full-screen quality for a long time. But that's great in general.

looked brand new and worked perfectly right out the box, very thin and but the screen is a little bit smaller than the previous generation macbooks

She already knows how to use most of its functions. She shows me things on it and every time I say," that makes sense ".

When I started the machine for the first time in was charged to 29 percent. I plugged it in to charge overnight but it did not charge at all. The message I received was that it needed a new battery. It started and operated with the power plug connected, but would not operate on battery only. I returned to the store an exchanged for open box that I had to call apple support and fix a finder problem by erase and recover. Thank you apple support. I love the computer now. Need better Best Buy refurb.

Battery wont charge. Luckily it broke right away (ie never worked, so not sure how it got certified) and we were able to refund it.

Got the laptop some time back and has not disappointed yet. I know it was refurbished and that worried me but after getting it I had no problem with it. After visually inspecting it I could not find a single imperfection, like brand new. Got it when it had a great deal. If you're not in a rush to get one then wait until it has a decent discount. Other than that, super excited for my new laptop.

I bought this for a cousin of mine in Pakistan. And when she got it was broken, had a dent on the exterior with pretty big and obvious scratches and battery was dead. It only worked if it was plugged in. What a shame to sell such refurbished products Best Buy. I had better expectations.

I used to be a Mac only person many years ago and I have held on to my old imac 21". But I had to move over to windows for work and haave been using a windows laptop for 10 years. I had a little hiccup slipping back to Mac but I used YouTube to help me figure it out. I just love my MacBook Pro. Looking forward to travelling "light" in future.
