Takes a little bit of getting used to given the depth of the keyboard but after that things were great. Worked perfectly out of the box, bought it geek squad refurbished and would've never known it, looks brand new and mint. Fits and matches perfectly if you already have the backside iPad charcoal silicone cover.

Sadly I had to return it. I knew it was a gamble reading the other reviews and it seemed so many people had returned theirs. The pins don't always line up correctly and then some of the keys don't work. And then one night my iPad just kept chiming constantly, that chime when you connect it to the charger. I googled it and that means a problem with the connectors lining up. I returned it and bought a new one (loving it by the way).

The refurbished keyboard I got was basically new, but it has a tiny flaw in that keyboard doesn’t lay flat when opened. I figured with time that it would stretch out (which is what happened to my original keyboard and stretched so much it lost its connectivity with the iPad and required a replacement). Given that I got this at a discount I determined I could live with the tiny defect and keep it. If it was 100% right, I would have given this review 5 stars.

I was unsure what to expect based on the reviews, but i was very happy when i received my Apple GeekSquad refirbished iPad Pro 12.9” keyboard cover. If you sold it to me as a new product i would have never known the difference, but this way it was much cheaper. It arrived in the original Apple packaging and feels like new! My old keyboard cover wasn’t working anymore, the keys were slick and i would get delays in typing and many missed keys. This item was. A like new replacement and i am VERY happy with it! Great job GeekSquad!!!

I really love my apple key pad, I just hate that it can’t sit on your lap without the iPad disconnecting. You really have to be sitting at a table to use it.

Do not buy if you purchased brand new Ipad Pro. It will not fit the new one from 2019! I took it back and got the one that goes with it and fits and works great!

This Apple smart keyboard is an excellent companion for my Apple iPad Pro 12.9. It serves also as a cover for the Tablet, and integrates quite well with it. The Keyboard attaches easily and is powered by the iPad Pro 12.9 so there is no need to recharge it separately. The soft keys are a great addition and there is very little lag when typing on the keyboard. I highly recommend this accessory to an iPad Pro 12.9

I was weary of purchasing a refurbished product, especially after my previously refurbished keyboard went bad on me. But because of the warranty and price, I decided to try this one. Well, after 1 year, the keyboard is working great. When I first received it, it was in the original packaging and looked new. Even refurbished it was still too expensive for what it is, but I knew that going in.

Nice and comfy to use , you don't need to bring your mac around all the time .

Overall, I've got to give this keyboard and very high review. The functions flawlessly and without issue just as if though it was new. I always have high expectations for Apple products and this one does not miss the boat. It has made my usage of the iPad Pro very easy. It seamlessly connects to it and does not drain any battery power that I can see.

I replaced a hard case and keyboard from another Manufacturer. This is because the keyboard lost keys and began to malfunction. The Apple keyboard and case are more reliable and easier to use I would not purchase the Hardvcase again

The first refurbished keyboard I purchased did not work at all and I returned it. I ordered a second refurbished keyboard and it also did not work. I read in another review that it was a problem with the contacts not aligning, so I played around and was able to get the keyboard to work. Unfortunately, having to connect and reconnect the keyboard multiple times to get it to work really cheapens the experience of a $900 iPad. I am returning the refurbished keyboard and will simply pay full price for one that (hopefully) works every time.

This device has known issues with the ipad pro, where it will not connect from sleep. Apple has extended the warranty of early models and this batch of “certified refurbs” looks to be from returns of intermittently defective keyboards. Buy a brand new keyboard, and expect it to fail in six months. This is the worst product Apple has released since the Newton.

bought keyboard fro Best Buy for my new iPad 12.9 it did not work call geek and the gave me unrealistic info. Went back to store and got a second one which didn’t either. Went to the apple rep and he pulled o e from the apple j ventory and it work but the store wanted the charge me full price and after a few words with mgr got it as an equal exchange. I worlds great

Looks and works like new. It is much easier to type on than I expected and makes the iPad Pro close a laptop replacement.

The price is great, and i was worried about the quantity but it turn out to be great! Love it

I love this keyboard- must have for iPad users. It gives you the ability to use special shortcut keys.

works very well, I wish the protected the entire iPad vs. just half of it...
