I have switched from being a pc user for the past 15 years to a mac, and I can't get enough of it. The best slogan to use: With a mac, you control the computer. With PC, the computer controls you. Everything is so much more personable with an apple, it's everything I didnt think was possible as a pc owner. Pretty close to perfect.

This was our first Apple computer, although we bought the "Windows" package so we can use our old address book. The Apple is easy to use, but not as intuitive as I'd hoped if you have only used a Windows IBM system before. However, for iPod, iTunes and picture management, it is very easy and much better and faster than our other computer. Spend the extra money to get the wireless keyboard and mouse - that great screen doesn't look as cool with a cord running from the keyboard!

I recently wanted to switch from a PC to a Mac so I bought the iMac 2.4GHz. I really love it. It is user friendly, helps you trasfer your PC info to the Mac, is amazing with itunes and the ipod, plus the hard drive is in the monitor!! No more heavy tower. It is truly the best computer that I've ever had. I love it!!

I've had this computer for a little over a week and I'm loving it. The glossy screen doesn't bother me but it can be a bit bright on the eyes. Leopard is a bit annoying but there are work arounds to it. Altogether, it definitely beats my g4 powerbook so i'm pretty happy. :)

I just switched and it was the best choice I have made in a long time. We have tried the Vista nightmare at work so I thought it was time to try a mac. All of the kids online homework problems are gone and I couldn't be happier.

Powerful all-in-one computer that is almost small enough to carry around with you. Runs very well like all other apple computers and comes free with iLife 08. Never been more pleased with a computer!

The imac has allowed me to create my own web page.The programs are wonderful.Assembly is so easy!I was a pc girl.Now i am a mac girl.The slim line 20'inch screen compliments my office.

switching from pc to mac was so easy its not even funny. im so glad i bought this. its so sexy and my family is swtiching to mac soon too! i have plenty of desk space now

love the ease of use and quick setup. I loved my MacBook that I got a year ago so it wasn't too far a leap to the IMAC. Apple has great service and I have loved the IMAC.

personally, I don't like the glossy display, but the design makes it look nice and black boarder makes the display looks larger. For professional designer, you will find (may not on all iMac) the top bottom of the screen is darker than the bottom part. the color is way off and it is OBVIOUS. I have checked on apple's forum and found that only mine have this kind of problem but many others. the good news is that it might not be a hardware problem but just a software. so.....I am still waiting for apple to release the update and really enjoy my iMac.

The Apple iMac is by far the BEST computer . . . It is AWESOME! Easy to use and love the software.

Definitely not for gaming...AT ALL. Too expensive to upgrade it enough just to play any games with poor resolution. iTunes is the best feature. Doesn't crash a lot like PC/Windows, but is very hard to download and install programs correctly. Hopefully Apple will take the gaming world seriously soon, or I can see them losing out on a lot of business.
