If you want a tablet, than the ones to go for are either the new iPad (iPad 3) or the iPad 2. Both are reliable and fast and have more apps than you will be able to use. The only thing that annoys me about the new iPad is the name "the new iPad." Will we be still calling this model "the new iPad" when the next model is released? Is the next model going to be "the Newer iPad"? The new iPad gets a little warmer than the iPad 2, but it hasn't bothered me enough to be a deal breaker. Bottom line: I have always been a PC guy, and for me to recommend an Apple product means it has to be good. No joke.

This ipad is AMAZING especialy the retina display, you could see such a big diffrence in the pictures and screen resoluton. The 5 mp camera is great for taking high resolution pictures. Watching movies is great, i get the picture of a hd tv. i take this ipad with me werever i travel the battery life is pretty good for somethng with so much features. also my screen has barley any scratches.

100% the best tablet option on the market. Best App ecosystem. Best Screen on any device. incredible speed. The upgraded camera make this the best tablet ever.

my wife has ipad 2 and i bought new ipad and love it. the camera is much better than previous ipad. i wish the new ipad had an sd card slot built in. overall a great product. it is a bit pricey but all apple products are.

The device is fantastic. I bought the 4G one to use at work since we don't have wifi there. My only complaint is that 16Gb is too small. Apps and pics take up so much more space. I have a 16Gb iPhone 3GS and have never filled it up. I've filled the iPad multiple times over. The screen quality blows my mind, even to this day. Outrageous!!!

I use it mostly as a reader for online newspapers and magazines. I travel occasionally for work, and this allows me to leave the laptop at home. Answering a few emails or writing a short report is about all I would really want to handle with this keyboard though. It is the most intuitive tablet I've ever used. Love it and can't see how I did without it.

I bought this device when I was considering an Amazon Fire. I looked at this as something that does all the functionality of the Fire, with the added capability of apps. The extra functionality of the apps was worth it to me. SInce purchasing it, I found a children's book that was offered for free on iTunes store as a sample (the full book, "The Beatles Yellow Submarine"). The graphics and animation in that book is amazing, mimicing one of those picture books with the sliding tabs. Touch clothing in the picture and the colors change. It even included a small game. Great for young kids and far better than just what can be done in an Kindle ebook.

New IPad...it seams to be helping me become a bit more organized by sing the notepad. It is so convenien to have the internet so near all the time . Facetime is absolutely wonderful to talk with grandkids.

Love my new iPad. Shortly after buying it, I noticed a small amount of light leakage just to the right of the facing camera. Did a Google search' and found this occurred if there wasn't a good glue job between the glass screen and the base. I returned it for exchange at Best Buy, showed the associate the issue, and it was taked care of immediately. They even let me exchange my black pad, which was a gift, for a white one. Now it matches my new iPhone. Most important, my data sync and use of iCloud put me right back where I left off, with no data or app loss. And, no light leakage. Thank you, Steve, thank you Best Buy.

I love the new IPad! The retina display is unmatched throughout tech market. I also purchased a nice leather case to protect my investment. I would recommend this IPad to anyone looking for a light weight computer that virtually does everything that a desktop or notepad does.

I asked how to purchase Amway products through BestBuy. Customer Service had not heard that customers could purchase Apple iPads through Amway.com business affiliate through Best Buy but CS was very helpful as we went through the process together. Customer Service rep offered to plug my laptop into their electric outlet which I appreciated. I started the purchase before dinner. After dinner, at the end of the day, I went home happy with my iPad and Otterbox iPad protector. Thanks BestBuy! You are cool!

I was holding out - and holding ON to my ipad1 until this one came out. Now i don't know how i lived without facetime and the faster processor! I HAVE heard, however, that if you already own a 2, notsomuch worth the upgrade.

I purchased this iPad about a month ago, and so far I love it. I am a business person and I it need for my business. It has met needs thus far. I would recommend this product for everyone.

we r an APPLE family, from the MacBook, to the iphone, ipod and Ipad. This is the 3rd Ipad my wife has had. ipad 1, 2 and now 3rd gen. we never get on the desktop or Mac a whole lot. The ease of operating the ipad is phenominal. Light weight and the screen resolution is brilliant. great purchase and would recommend this to anyone.

Very disappointed with the quality of a screen on a device so expensive. I've had the 1st generation for 3 years with no problem.. I get the third gen and it didn't last 1 month... In a case. Very-very disappointing. A very expensive lesson learned.

So far i like it but I have been out offshore so have not been able to test the 4g out yet. Reading is nice and the games are good. Movies are looking good on it too.

I love my new iPad! It's exactly what I need for travelling around the country! :)

for the money it is a good value. got it in Alaska save a lot of money on sales tax.
