I bought this for my mother in law who is a technology teacher. She loves it and uses it every day. I have the same model so I can speak from experience. Build quality is good but definately a step down from the Air 2 which this replaced. The specs are basically the same but the screen just feels plasticity. I think this where the quality had to change to get it to this price point. Battery life is good. You will get about 8 hours maybe 9 if you turn off some services. Bluetooth is solid along with WiFi. Spring for the 128gb version. While everything is cloud based it never hurts to have that security of available storage.

We purchased this tablet for our 2 year old daughter to watch videos in the car. It is great and simple to use for kids. They can grow into using it more over the years. The other iPad we bought has lasted 10 years so far with no issues so hopefully this one will last just as long.

iPad basically functions like a small computer, but one can sit more comfortably with it for reading articles in larger print or longer emails, my main purpose in buying it. I like it. Also,the battery lasts a good long while, much longer than the iPhone battery. I haven't set it up yet for playing music but anticipate pleasure in that. I also play a game that is used for scientific research; appreciate the iPad for that. I did want the mini but learned that it may go out of production (and therefore updates). Now I'm not sure I bought the best iPad for me after all.

Up until now I have always been an Android guy. In the past I have had 3 different Samsung tablets and was happy. After recently have battery issues with the latest one decided to defect to Apple. So glad I did. I had always heard that they were better built products. So I got a reg i pad with 128 Gb. I love it!!!!! Granted there is a learning curve with the new system but,over all it was a great move. A month later it still seems faster and feels very durable and sturdy. Has great battery life (only need to charge once per week) and really has no issues. The only negative is you cant have multiple sites open like you can with Samsung tabs

Our youngest daughter absolutely loves her new IPad. It is being used frequently for her homework assignments, skyping friends to discuss assignments and projects, for studying she does research with it and she also downloaded a flash card app. She also uses it for social media

Really happy I went ahead and finally pulled the trigger on it. I bought it mainly to use on long international flights to watch movies. The 128gb is very affordable and gives you enough space to have movies or tv shows downloaded when you have no internet connection. The battery life is great and the screen quality, while not as good as the pro, is really nice for the price you pay.

Great product, always go for speed and memory. You cant change once you buy it. That said the new Ipad has been performing extremely well. No lagging and very smooth.

My Daughter and several of my Granddaughters have older IPads and have loved them, I have always been Windows or Android for tablet's. computers or phones. Best Buy had a great sale on these and so I finally took the plunge. It's bigger than my Nexus 7 and is on par with my Asus T100 windows tablet/notebook. At 128 GB for $399 I figure it was a bargain. I have not been disappointed it works flawlessly and now I have finally after all these years gotten an Apple product. There is a little learning curve but it works great and am not disappointed. Bought one for me and one for my wife. At that price I figure I couldn't go wrong.

Ipad lives up to it's expectations as a functional tablet. It helps keep the large laptop at home, and keeps its battery power at 6+ hours. It is a good device for me to read my books, watch movies, or catch up on my email services. iPad is all around a good tablet to have.

I had the first mini iPad for 5 yrs, great product, just old and slow.. this iPad is totally awesome. Fast, clear, holds charge. Also more storage than I know what to do with.

I bought this iPad as a gift for my wife -- she loves it! The beautiful screen and increased storage are great. The setup was a breeze and restoring from iCloud was very easy.

Wow, I was ready to give up on my old iPad and my faith is now renewed with the newest iPad. Everything is so much faster and the screen resolution is easy on the eyes. And, I almost forget about the power management system - the device can go for a week without charging.

This is my 3rd iPad. Works like the previous two, just a faster processor and better picture. Apple's real forte is the software/operating system. Just so slick, refined. Just a lot of little things that make you say "cool!" I love the way it snarfs new emails and phone #'s into my address book. How it maps addresses before I ask it to. How it hands off to my iPhone and iMac. My wife has the latest Samsung Galaxy. It works, but to me, so many rough edges. The iPad/iPhone is a Porsche. The Galaxy, in contrast is a clunky loud Dodge Viper. Both fast, but the Porsche oozes refinement. So it is with the iPad and Apple IOS.

My previous tablet had bogged down and had little storage. With this 128gb unit I have all the room I will ever need. And as a plus for usually Android users like me the App Store has all the apps I need to still connect to bookmarks on Chrome and music on Google Play.

I’m a full time employee and student so this iPad is really helpful when I need to get homework done on the go. It’s a great size for reading electronic books as well as typing for discussion boards. Also, it’s nice to watch Netflix on a bigger screen than an iPhone.

This is my third iPad and out of all them this one is the best. I bought the 128 GB and have so much capacity to hold all of my photos, music and apps. I could not be happier. iOS 11 updated with no problems and all of the new features work well. Could not be happier.

This iPad continues the Apple tradition. This is my fourth iPad purchase and has the most memory with128K. Easy to use and quality of pictures are much improved.

I am enjoying using my new IPad every day. I use it for communication with friends, for news and weather, online shopping, relaxing entertainment, and searching the internet. This is the second IPad I have had and it is performing well. It meets my daily needs.

Wanted to upgrade my old iPad but didnt want to dish out the dough for the Pro model this one is a happy compromise. Happy with purchase.
