I purchased this for my mother who has been consuming a lot of media through her small phone and when this went up for sale, it was a no brainer. she loves it and can now enjoy her content on a bigger screen. i know it's fun to poke fun at apple for being overpriced and simplistic, but you certainly can't argue against it's near hardware finish and it's simple OS that even the least tech savvy can eventually figure things out relatively quick. i would recommend this smaller storage model for those seeking to purchase a "portable tv" for their older gen parents.

Unfortunately my 3 year old iPad was expanding with many issues. It would have cost the same to repair. Bought a new one. Use it all the time.
