I own the original Ipad (still going) and had the first Ipad mini. However, a year ago, the mini died and I decided not to replace it. After a year without an Ipad, I was ready for another one. I began looking six weeks ago, trying to decide which one to buy. This week, Best Buy had the mini on sale and I was torn between that and the Ipad Air 2, which was on sale elsewhere for the same price. I went into Best Buy to make my final decision and was thrilled when they price matched the competitor's ad and I was able to get the Ipad Air 2. Absolutely love it. The size is great but the speed is even better. Leaps ahead of my previous Ipad(s). I was a little hesitant about the 16GB, but having the 64 GB IPhone 6s Plus, I decided the 16 would be fine for the Ipad. I am one happy grandma with my new purchase. Love the Apple products and now know you get what you pay for and this is worth the extra money over a cheaper Android.

This was perfect for my granddaughter to do her schoolwork while her computer was out for major repair.

Purchased our iPad Air 2 a few days ago, and we just love it! Very thin and light and comfortable to hold. Our 3 year old loves it as well. We use the Speck iGuy case for when she uses it and it's just a great fit. Very pleased with the purchase of our iPad.

OK, I traded in my aging 64gb iPad 2 With 3G for this new wifi only 16gb iPad Air 2. Why? 2 reasons, the new A8x chipset is fast on this new tablet and hopefully will last for another 3-4 years before I replace it, and more importantly, BestBuy gave me $200 for trading in my old iPad. Those two reasons prompted me to buy the new full size tablet from Apple. I actually prefer the iPad mini form factor over the full size Air 2, but Apple did not put the faster chipset in the new Mini 3, and I did not know if I could get $200 on trade-in next year for my current iPad 2 when the Mini 4 with the faster processor is released. Overall, I am very happy with the new Air 2. It is very fast and the retina display looks amazing. I am pleased with ALMOST everything on this new tablet. The one change I do not like is the removal of the silencing switch on the side. I like the physical switch which is always accessible. Having to swipe up the bottom tray to turn on silent mode is just a minor inconvenience on an overall great device. I am happy with this new tablet from Apple.

So far I own 4 ipads inlcuding Ipad 2, I pad mini 3, ipad air and air 2. I pad air 2 has best color reproduction, it can be used as color reference. Its light weight,fast and I like the finger print scanner. Great purchase.

Upgraded from an iPad 2, and my Mom LOVES her new iPad! It's ultra-light, fast, and has wonderful image resolution. Mom only plays games and hangs out on FaceBook, so it's perfect for her. I disabled the fingerprint touch feature, since she's the only user. Very, very happy with this product.

I loved my iPad gen 3, but each subsequent iOS release slowed it down so it was time to get a new one. I forgot how nice it is to have the device respond when I ask it to. It's faster, thinner and lighter than before. I can't wait until iOS 9 is released so I can use true multitasking.

My wife originally wanted this. Since it was very limited in what you can do with it, we sold it. Ended up with a windows tablet for half the price.

Bought this tablet as a Christmas present for our mother in law and after running the ios update the tablet wouldn't connect to WiFi or sync with her icloud account. Tried contacting Apple care and there were useless. This will be the last Apple product I purchase.

I love the speed in the newer processors and its light and thin compared to the older ones. Use it for my small business everyday!

This is the best tablet available in the category and apple does not seem to amaze me with each and every product they make. This would make an ideal gift idea as the use because of its weight, size and best visuals is worth every penny spent on it.

I was deciding what to buy between 2 tablets "Nexus 9" vs. "Ipad Air 2". After few hours reading reviews of both, I went to bestbuy and purchased the Nexus 9. It's a good android/google tablet. I am a fan of android phone, but not a fan of the tablet. The battery of the Nexus 9 is pretty terrible. It runs out really fast, how fast is it? I have to charge it at least 4 times a day for to use it for just facebook, youtube, and google .... not even gaming. So I decided to go back at bestbuy to make an exchange, I got the Ipad air 2. After using it for like hours, gaming, watching youtube, and using facebook .... I was like WOW, I only used 5% of the battery. Go for an Ipad air 2 if you are planing to play video games, watching youtube like me ... It is worth every penny that you are spending on

The new air is awesome, light weight and easy to use. The easy interface was amazing. Was a gift for my Mother. She wanted something portable as they travel this year to access her "faceplace" and other online tools, and allow for away for her to communicate with family, espcially little ones. She has loved the face time ability and being able to read books and listen to music. Way too go, again Apple.

Bought this as a christmas gift and it was a hit. Setup was quick, the screen is super cripsy and super thin. Even an 80 year old woman could figure out how to use it.

Great performance, noticeably faster than previous. Thin profile tales very little room in briefcase. Fingerprint scanner makes login a breeze. Android cannot compete.

iOS 8 uses up most of the iPads memory. i had to return my it and upgrade to the 64 gig. However, they only had the 120 gig. I should have waited for the iPad air 2 "s."

I got this to replace my old iPad 2 and the difference is huge. The resolution is amazing, it is very light and IOS 9 runs perfectly without delay.

For most people, this tablet will be perfect. Very easy to use interface, no android clutter, and the smoothest swiping and gesturing on any tablet I've used. This model has an anti-reflective coating which doesn't cause the frosted glass look like with stick-on coatings. Battery life is great for all day, and since most of my electronics are Apple products, this fits very well within the ecosystem. It is definitely a luxury product, like a Mercedes is to cars, but so totally worth it if you can afford it and don't already have a tablet.

I have tried many tablets and the IPAD Air 2 is the best and the price has gone down! Easy to use and setup once connected to your wifi!
